Chapter 310
Why was Jessica visiting Cordy with John?
What was going on here?!
And yet, no one bothered looking Noel's way, ignoring her as if she were thin air.
That was when John walked right up to Cordy and said, "You can go now. The paperwork for your bail
has been filed."
Noel could not help clenching her knuckles.
What on earth did Cordy do to John that he would go so far for her?
And what the hell was Jessica doing?! Why was she not stopping this?!
Still, Noel did not dare to let her feelings show, and she suddenly exclaimed happily, ‘This is great, sis!

Cordy was honestly impressed by how two-faced Noel was, but she was used to it.
She did not even bother shooting a disgusted look at Noel before walking upto John.
She would never allow herself to suffer.
Even if John was the reason for all this mess, she would not turn down something that worked in her
favor.
And right now, she was really eager to leave and work with Quinn in building her defense for the case
against her.
As they left the detention center, they saw Zoe.
She had been waiting for Cordy outside, and seeing Cordy come out with John, she promptly ran up to
Cordy and gave her a hug, her eyes welling with tears even as she cried, ’Cordy! You're finally out. You
look so much skinnier already..."
Cordy actually had to comfort Zoe instead. "It's fine. It's not that bad there."
Cordy was actually laughing a little, but that only made Zoe sadder.
Did Cordy really never shed tears? Did she not know that children who cried got candies?
"Zoe, I'll be leaving with John now. It's fine if you send Cordy home, right? My grandfather just came to
North City, so Johnny and I can't leave at the moment," Jessica said then.
Zoe glanced at Jessica but ignored her.
No matter how harmless Jessica pretended to be, Zoe was positive that Gordy's criminal charges were
Jessica's fault.

Jessica did not mind, however, and turned to John. "Let's go. Both our grandfathers are waiting. If
we're late, I'm afraid he might..."
John, however, had his eyes on Cordy.
He had been watching as she remained calm and composed, and never really looked her way from the
start. She accepted his arrival without feeling affected at all, neither complaining nor getting agitated-
distant, even, as if he were a stranger.
Still, he turned and left with Jessica.
Once they were gone, Zoe and Cordy got into her car, and Zoe was complaining endlessly.
"It's that vile woman, Jessica Stuart! She must have done it, and now she's suddenly the nice girl again
when John's around."
Cordy said nothing. She was getting worn out after being in custody for 24 hours.
"My grandfather actually tried to keep John abroad, and I was told Jessica came to ask my grandfather
so he would let him come home and then came to bail you with her own status."
Zoe seemed irritated even as she mentioned Jessica. "She's obviously the b*tch trying to play saint. I
have no words to even describe how vile she is!"
