“Now that you know we’re from the Norton family, you’d better stand down before you get caught and have to
suffer!” yelled one of the Martial Arts Grandmasters.
Jared snorted. “So what if I killed one of you? I gave you an easy way out, yet you chose to bring ruin upon
yourselves…”
With that, he lunged forward and aimed a slap at the Martial Arts Grandmaster who had just spoken.
Before that person could even react, he felt an overwhelming force hurtled toward him, and his whole body flew
backward into the air.
His chest caved in, his eyes were wide open, and he was no longer breathing.
The other Martial Arts Grandmasters were shocked.
“You… You’d better not do anything rash…”
They were all a little terrified.

“Who is it?” Skylar shouted in the direction of the stairs.
However, no one answered. The sound of footsteps continued to ring in the air, crisp and clear.
Skylar stood up abruptly, his frown deepening.
If someone tried to force their way into the tower, my men would surely have stopped them. Who’d be able to get
past a group of Martial Arts Grandmasters’ swift defense? And even if that person did manage to do so, there
would’ve been the sound of fighting. However, I didn’t hear anything.
He started feeling somewhat panicked.
Around here, the only ones capable of eliminating my men without making a sound and entering the Pentacarna
Tower are members of the Rowling family.
“Could it be that Coby came back?”
Skylar suspected that Coby had not really left but was only waiting for an opportunity to kill him.

“It’s you?” he asked, his eyes widening.
“Of course, it’s me. Who did you think it was?”
A hint of a smile played on Jared’s lips.
Suddenly, Skylar burst out laughing. “Hahaha! I was just thinking of going to look for you. I didn’t expect you to
show up on your own accord.”
He already possessed the strength of a Top Level Martial Arts Grandmaster, so he did not fear Jared.
However, what Skylar did not know was that Jared’s abilities were no longer what they were before, nor did he
know that Jared had killed Warren.
Seeing Skylar suddenly laugh and looking nonchalant, Jared asked calmly, “It looks like you’re very sure of yourself,
