Feeling invigorated, Jared opened the door to leave the room, only to jump in fright when he came face-to-face
with Flaxseed. “What are you doing here? Were you eavesdropping the entire night?” he asked, a puzzled look on
his face.
“Do you think I’m that free? Besides, it’d only make my blood boil if I listened to you go the whole night without
stopping. You sure as hell have got the strength and stamina, huh?” Flaxseed replied as he shot an envious glance
at Jared. “Godrick’s looking for you, so he sent me to get you. He didn’t want to disturb your passionate romp.”
With that, Jared promptly followed Flaxseed to the front hall while Beatrice led a few housekeepers into the room.
Alas, when she saw the ladies sprawled limply across the bed, she couldn’t help but gasp in surprise. Oh, my
goodness. I never thought Jared would have that much prowess!

Meanwhile, Jared had just stepped into the front hall with Flaxseed when he suddenly froze. Huh? Is that Quindon?
Why does it look like he’s waiting for me? Upon seeing Jared, Godrick hurriedly walked toward him. “Jared, this
Quindon guy is looking for you again…”
Quindon, too, stood up and greeted Jared with a slight nod. “It’s been a while, Jared. How’s everything?” “Ha! If it
isn’t Mr. Yuchamore from Gate of Heaven’s secret realm,” Jared scoffed. “Why has a purple-robed emissary from
Evil Heart Sect come to visit me in the mundane world? Hmm… From the looks of it, you must be struggling to
resist the laws of nature, huh?”
Judging by his ashen face and disordered aura, I have no doubt he’s overwhelmed by the crushing force of the laws
of nature! Quindon let out a bitter chuckle before glancing at Godrick and Flaxseed. “Jared, can we talk in private?”
After meeting Quindon’s gaze, Jared turned to the other two men. “You guys can leave the room first…”
“Jared, he’s from the secret realm and a member of Evil Heart Sect. It’s dangerous for you to be alone with him,”
Flaxseed reminded. Jared, however, laughed coldly in response. “He’s in the mundane world and restrained by the
laws of nature. There’s no way he can hurt me…”
With my current power, I can easily defeat Quindon in the secret realm, so what’s there to fear when he’s in the
mundane world and being suppressed by the laws of nature? He’s of no threat to me! Seeing how confident Jared
was, Quindon sighed in resignation. “He’s right. Even if I want to attack him here, my hands are tied…”
Once Flaxseed and Godrick had taken their leave, Jared closed all the doors and windows with just a casual flick of
his hand. “Are you here today because your secret realms have become empty?” he asked.
Quindon widened his eyes in surprise. “Oh, you know about it? Indeed, our members have all gone to Evil Heart
Sect’s secret realm, and that’s the reason I’m here today. I want to join forces with you and take Evil Heart Sect

“Join forces?” Jared exclaimed as he stared at Quindon in disbelief. Wow! Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine
that Quindon would one day want to work with me. For goodness’ sake, he’s one of Evil Heart Sect’s core members
and purple-robed emissaries!
“That’s right. Including myself, there are only six remaining purple-robed emissaries. We’d all like to work with you.”
By then, Jared’s interest had been piqued. “Why me, though? Could you tell me more?”
Come to think of it… If I were to join forces with Quindon and the others, dealing with Evil Heart Sect would
undoubtedly be much easier. After all, my power may have increased significantly, but that still won’t be enough to
destroy an entire sect! Tackling all six purple-robed emissaries simultaneously is already no easy feat, so I can only
imagine how much worse it’d be if Tanner joined the fray! Yes… It’d be brilliant if I could team up with the
emissaries to take on Tanner.
