The Supreme Neo-Demon and the two monsters were entangled in a ferocious melee battle, generating shock waves that destroyed space-time around them.
Eligos, Hunun, and Sorun channeled the full power of their Mind Force into those monsters while simultaneously pressuring the Supreme Neo-Demo's soul to hinder his movements and speed.
The soul pressure generated by the three Rank 9 Mind Rulers should have been enough to disable weak Primarchs, and even those like Salomon and Issac would find their battle power reduced by at least ten percent.
However, Ezequiel's Concept Sun and his unique Lord of Emptiness constitution allowed him to lose less than five percent of his battle power under the Mind Rulers' soul pressure.
Even with his senses disturbed, Ezequiel's eyes never left the trio, as he understood that the monsters he faced weren't the real enemy. Those creatures would die if he killed Eligos, Hunun, and Sorun. Not to mention that no matter how much damage he did to them, as long as the trio kept supplying them with Mind Force, they would keep fighting.
If Ezequiel was willing to enter a battle of attrition, his chances of winning were very high, but he did not choose that path. The Mind Ruler Primarch was one of the last enemies that could still pose some threat to him in the Prima Universe, and he would use this one to polish his skills.
"Supernova Art!"
Ezequiel's cells began to burn themselves, granting him immense power but also enhancing the speed at which his energy depleted. The black and white lightning bathing his body grew stronger as he began to overwhelm the monsters, moving closer and closer to the trio.
Eligos, Hunun, and Sorun saw that, and dread emerged from their souls, especially the last two. The duo was certain they would not last more than a minute under the Supreme Neo-Demon's onslaught.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe monsters were essentially illusions, so they were extraordinarily resilient against physical attacks, but the power of Emptiness in Ezequiel's lightning could destroy everything.
The three Rank 9 Mind Rulers grew desperate enough to burn their life force, granting the monster even more power. That was not all since Eligos overexerted himself to launch a devastating soul invasion spell.
"ROAR!"
"ROAR!"
As their power grew, both monsters unleashed feral roars and attacked with everything they had.
Ezequiel moved back to avoid a barrage of spider legs when a force hit his mind and soul, making everything dark for an instant. He regained his senses almost immediately, but the tentacle monster had appeared behind him. Before he could do anything, the monster swallowed his entire body and began to squeeze.
A flash of happiness appeared in the Rank 9 Mind Rulers, and they began to inject even more Mind Force into the tentacle monster.
The monster grew stronger as it formed a cocoon around the Supreme Neo-Demon, and its thorns aimed at the center, trying to impale this one.
Ezequiel felt how an immense force was exerted on him from every direction while those poisonous thorns attempted to pierce his skin. He used all his strength to resist the pressure, but the tentacle monster was too powerful.
However, as space around Ezequiel began to shrink and he grew immobilized, his eyes started to glow with silver flames, and the Sun of Freedom manifested. Anything that dared to deprive the True Godking of Freedom from his liberty would burn!
The Sun of Freedom burned with more and more force as the Concept of Freedom filled Ezequiel with energy, granting him the brute power to break free of his prison.
All the happiness on Eligos, Hunun, and Sorun vanished as flashes of silver light emerged from the monstrous cocoon. The Sun of Freedom grew larger, pushing away tentacles, and showing Ezequiel's bloody figure.
"AHHH!" Ezequiel shouted as an immensely powerful shock wave emerged from his body, bursting the tentacle monster away from him.
Since the three Rank 9 Mind Rulers had been sending so much Mind Force into the tentacle monster, the sudden destruction of this one generated a backlash.
Eligos resisted the backlash without much problem, but Hunun and Sorun could not say the same.
"Look out!"
Hunun and Sorun grew disoriented and did not know what happened, but they clearly heard Eligos' scream, meaning they were in incredible danger,
Sorun, the Rank 9 Mind Ruler that resembled a giant brain covered in black plasma, regained his focus only to see Ezequiel appear in front of him.
"WAIT!" Sorun screamed, begging the Supreme Neo-Demon for mercy, but the only thing that answered his plea was a fist charged in black and white lightning that penetrated his body.
Eligos and Hunun did not hesitate before using their full power, attempting to stop Ezequiel from destroying Sorun's body. They reformed the tentacle monster and sent it forward along with the one that resembled a snake.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThe Supreme Neo-Demon felt the monster charging toward him, but he refused to let go of Sorun's body. His eyes glowed with power as twelve avatars emerged from him.
"Emptiness Avatar Shield!"
Each avatar burst with power, generating a dodecahedron lightning shield that contained both Ezequiel and Sorun.
"¡BOOM!"
"¡BOOM!"
Thunderous explosions echoed as the monsters attempted to break the Emptiness Avatar Shield, but although they filled it with cracks, it would hold on long enough.
"Save me!" Those were Sorun's last words as Ezequiel unleashed blasts of black and white lightning with the power of the Emptiness inside his body.
Sorun howled in pain as the lightning destroyed him from the inside out, but there was nothing he could do. While powerful in terms of soul invasion spells, his melee capabilities were pitiful.
"CRACK!"
Finally, after almost thirty seconds, the monsters managed to shatter the Emptiness Avatar Shield, lunging at Ezequiel immediately after.
The Supreme Neo-Demon's eyes narrowed as he felt the monsters' tentacles and spider legs about to reach his back. At the last second, he flashed away, dodging them.
Eligos and Hunun made the Supreme Neo-Demon move back, but hopelessness filled their souls since they arrived too late. Sorun was nothing more than a roasted corpse now.
