Lucas looked at his son, although he was a little shocked at what he said, he didn't reprimand him.
"Do you have a way to ensure you're not caught?" He asked.
"I haven't started the official plan, but once I'm ready I'll make sure I have an escape route." Grey replied after giving it a thought.
"Okay, give me a few months. I should be able to make it less dangerous for you. At least you only have to worry about the Sovereigns there." Lucas said.
To be honest, he didn't see anything wrong with Grey's intention. As long as Grey could ensure he didn't get caught, which he was confident about, there was nothing to worry about.
Grey wouldn't throw away his life, it was not in his character. This was the main reason Lucas wasn't worried.
"Alright. I'm not going in now. I have to wait for my friends to get to the Sovereign Plane as well. So I think two months or so should be enough." Grey said to his father.
The duo spoke for a while before separating. Grey had gotten to the Sovereign Plane, and even though he had tested his strength, he still wasn't a hundred percent confident yet. He wanted to see if he could fight against the very best.
Conor had gone out, so he didn't get to see him before leaving. He had the choice of either going back to his Faction, or traveling around the Continent once again. He picked the latter since it was more fun and he would be able to experience more battles that way.
He picked up his communication device and when he saw Klaus' location, he couldn't help but chuckle.
"He has broken through. So soon."
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAlthough Grey expected Klaus to break through quickly, he didn't think it would happen so soon.
From the tracking device he could tell that Klaus wasn't in his Faction. The only way Klaus could leave the Faction was if he had already gotten to the Sovereign Plane.
With that thought in mind, Grey headed straight for Klaus.
….
Three days later.
In a City around the Eplor region.
Grey stood in front of a large mansion and couldn't help but check the tracking device once again. Klaus' dot was showing right in front of him, but he didn't have any knowledge of Klaus owning such a place or even knowing anyone here.
The Eplor region is a famous place for its businesses. It has one of the most prestigious auction houses in the entire Continent and is well respected. The place Klaus was residing at the moment was one of the buildings belonging to the auction house.
According to what Grey heard on his way here, Klaus was very famous, especially after his break through. The stories of his break through has spread across the entire Continent and even Grey was amazed by it. The fact that Klaus could garner such fame just by breaking through was astonishing.
"Well, there's no point standing here."
Grey walked into the building, and it was luxuriously furnished. The chairs he saw around seemed to be made from top tier magical beast hide.
A young lady approached him the moment he entered the place.
"Hello sir, welcome to the Kerr Auction House, how may we be of service?" The young lady was very polite as she spoke to him.
This wasn't Grey's first time coming to a place like this, so he expected something like this.
"I'm here to see a friend, Klaus Ealdian." He replied.
"Oh, you're here to see young master Klaus. I'll have to confirm with him first." The young lady bowed politely, she asked as she was leaving, "May I know your name, sir?"
"Grey." Grey replied.
The young lady bowed and left. She didn't know who Grey was and just went on to meet Klaus.
In a luxurious room in the auction house which also served as a tavern for high ranking members to stay in.
Klaus could be seen eating some fruits. He was carefree and relaxed, almost as if there was nothing that could bother him.
He soon heard a knock on his door.
"Come in."
The young lady entered and bowed to him, "Sir, you have a visitor."
"A visitor?" Klaus was taken aback. He didn't expect anyone to come see him here, neither was he expecting anyone in the first place.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Yes." The young lady nodded.
"Who might that be?" Klaus asked suspiciously, ready to run if it was anyone from his Faction.
One of the reasons he liked this place was because they kept their customers safe. No matter what happens, very few people could cause trouble here. He knows for a fact his Faction Leader wouldn't take the stress of coming here to search for him. So as long as it was someone else, he could always make sure he could escape.
"He said his name is Grey."
"What?!" Klaus was stunned, "Send him in."
He didn't expect Grey to find him here. To a certain extent, he was amazed that Grey could find his exact location. But thinking about it, it's Grey, he was capable of doing almost everything.
The young lady went out and soon came back with Grey.
"Haha, bud, what are you doing here?" Klaus laughed and walked up to Grey.
"I said I should come see how you're doing." Grey looked around and said, "You seem to be doing alright for yourself."
"Haha, all these are nothing. I'm a VIP here, and all my needs are cared for. If you need anything, you can tell me and I'll look up their stocks." Klaus replied.
"That's nice to know, but I have no interest in these things." Grey smiled and studied Klaus, "The Sovereign Plane, how nice."
"Yeah, can you imagine it?" Klaus laughed and said, "When we were in the Azure Continent who even knew there was such a thing as the Sovereign Plane."
Grey laughed, indeed they didn't know about this.
