Read Omega’s Possession by Jessica Hall Book 2 Chapter 9 – Harlow
Leon was tense as we showered, and it had me on edge. Climbing out, Leon was still washing shampoo from his hair.“ Wait,
don’t leave without me,” Leon says, frantically washing the soap from his hair as I wrap a towel around myself. My face
scrunches up, wondering what has got into him. He has barely said anything to me since they left. Hearing the doorbell, I glance
at the door.
“Harlow!” Leon snaps at me, but I ignore him, retrieving one of Raidon’s shirts and slipping it on. “I’m just answering the door,” I
huff before moving toward the bedroom door. The moment I step into the hall, I hear the front door kicked in, making me jump.
“A scream of fright leaves my lips, only to be m*ffled by Leon’s hand. My breathing is harsh as he sniffs the air, when I hear the
cleaner demanding to know who they are.
“We are here to find the Omega,” comes a gruff voice, my eyes widen at the demand. Leon holds a finger to his lips and lets me
go before ushering me to the back of the house, where the other stairwell is.
“Thane, get back here!” Leon snarls through the link. I am kinda cursing myself for not marking them earlier now, I can hear them
but can’t reply to them. Leon grabs my arm, leading me quickly down the back steps that lead into the library. He glanced at the
door leading to the kitchen before hearing the cleaner arguing with them to leave when we heard a sickening slap, and her
whimper.
Leon growls, his eyes burning bright red as he leads me to the huge glass window. Footsteps on the stairs told us a few went
upstairs and from the different scents, I could smell at least seven people, three of which I could tell were Alphas. When I heard
another car pull up out the front.
Leon quietly slides the window up before grabbing my hips and lifting me through the window. I grab his arms. “What are you
doing?” I hiss at him. “Head for the sheds at the back of the property, I will come to find you, stay out of sight.”
“Wait.”
“Can’t love, now run,” Leon says, not giving me a chance to protest before he drops me onto my feet and quickly closes the
window. I duck down, scanning my surroundings and spotting the huge garages where the lawn man keeps everything by the
edge of the tree line. With one last glance at the huge mansion, I start running across to it, using the hedges for cover and
I heard things inside smashing when a man is tossed from the second-floor window, the glass shatters and I freeze, watching
him hit the roof on the first story only to roll off and hit the concrete below. I duck down watching as he tries to get up, he clutches
his neck that is spurting blood out everywhere, my eyes move to the windows above to see Leon, fighting another man at the
window he fell from,.
Ducking back down, I run. As I reach the doors, I push them open enough to slip inside, looking out the gap, I see the cleaner
being dragged outside, when a**? tall man, clearly an Alpha with dirty blonde hair, lifts his gun and shoots her in the head.
I gasp as she collapses on the ground, my hands covering my mouth at what I just saw. What the hell is going on? It was only a
few tense seconds later, I watched as Leon was dragged from the house and tossed beside the dead cleaner, whose name I felt
bad for not remembering.
Leon was drenched in blood, covered, as if he bathed in it. The two men that tossed him to the ground, also bl**dy, one’s arm
was bent at an odd angle, I watched him break it back into place. Looking out, I see seven Alphas, and two other men that look
to be officials in uniform.
The man with the gun, I recognize as one of the Alphas from the glory hole event at Tal’s, the other I swear I had seen before,
yet couldn’t place him until he spoke.
“Where is she?” he yells, kicking Leon in the face. My blood runs cold, and I am suddenly frozen on the spot, trapped in a
memory I wished wasn’t mine. One I had worked so hard to forget until now, I was slammed by the mere sound of his voice and
tossed back there, memories I suppressed assaulting my mind.
Flashback
Mrs. Keller was slumped and dangling from the roof, I heard men shouting in the distance. “Down here, quick, grab the b*tch,
and let’s go!”
I blinked, blood tainting my vision from the g*sh on my head, and I shook the woman. She groans, peering around, and the
voices get closer. She turned, and I will never forget the look she gave me.
One of pure fear when she screamed at me.
“Run, run, Harlow. They are coming for you,” she screamed, and I did. I was at the edge of the treeline when I stopped,
expecting her to be right behind me. However, as I peered between the bushes, I saw men running down the ravine as she tried
The men grab her, hauling her out of the car, my entire body frozen as I watch the horror unfold before me. My entire body
paralyzed by fear as I trembled, peering out between the bushes.
She was tossed onto her hands and knees, the man grabs her hair, jerking her head back. Hana spits in his face, and he wipes it
off. “Where is she?”
“Go f***k yourself you pin d***k pr*ck,” he slaps her, blood sprayed across the grass, and tears brimmed in my eyes. However,
Hana laughs, wipes her mouth and glares at him.
“You always were a pathetic excuse for an Alpha,” she sneers at him.
“You were supposed to be mine!” He growls at her. “I was never yours, and neither was Harper!” She screams at him.
“First you had Sofia take the first one, you aren’t getting the other. Black f***ked up, and he’ll pay for that mistake, but in the
meantime, you’ll pay for ever daring to cross me.”
He grabbed her face, kissing her, she growled biting down on his tongue, and he grabbed the steel protruding from her stomach
and twisted it, making her scream and let go.
“When I find her, and we will. I make sure there is nothing left of her when I hand her back to Thane, you took Harper from us,
and now we take Thane’s Omega,” he growls at her.
“You’re a dead man,” she spits at him, blood dribbling down her lips and chin.
“He’ll never know,” The man laughs, when two men haul her to her feet.
He pulled a knife from his back pocket and dragged the tip down her face, she didn’t flinch, just glared at him. “My son will come
for you, come for her, and you better pray to the Moon Goddess he has mercy on you!” The man laughed, tapping the knife on
her face.
“Find her, she can’t have got far!” He snapped at the other four men with him, and they started taking their clothes off and began
shifting.
“All this time and you’re still trying to catch a ghost.” Hana laughed, and he growled, slitting her throat.
It was that moment that sent me moving, days I hid in that forest, covering my body in mud to hide my scent, as I waited them
out.

Now looking out the garage doors, I see the man that killed her, the same voice that triggered something my mind had blocked
out.
Alpha Corbin, I could tell who he is by the sheer size of him, and his aura, menacing like Thane’s. He lifted his gun, pressing it to
Leon’s temple before he looked up at the house.
