Dread often stemmed from the unfamiliar.
The Kimboku warriors were skilled and brave in facing ordinary enemies. However, their courage
faltered when confronted with the formidable Blood Devil Willem.
Willem was a figure of mystery, endowed with immortality and the remarkable ability to transform into a
bat. The mention of his name alone was enough to send shivers down the spines of many.
"Blood Devil?" Willem shook his head.
He continued, "I'm not particularly fond of that moniker. I come from the distinguished royal lineage of
the Esmington Empire, holding the honorable title of Earl.
"You can call me Willem or Earl Willem." A sly grin spread across his face, revealing two sharp fangs.

bluntly.
He then gestured toward Anthony. "Let me introduce you to Mr. Alessandro, one of the ten Sword
Sages of Kimboku."
"Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Alessandro." Willem extended his hand, presenting a seemingly harmless
appearance.
"Take a seat, Mr. Willem." Anthony courteously invited, ushering him into the living room.
Despite Willem's infamous reputation, his undeniable strength was evident. Employing such assistance
showcased Bailey's ambitious plans.
"Mr. Bailey, is anyone else joining us tonight besides Mr. Willem?" Anthony asked.
"Yes! I've invited friends from Eskus, Alabastria, and Glorian for this gathering. They're on the same
page as us." Bailey shared without hesitation.
"Eskus? Alabastria? Glorian?" Anthony was taken aback. He didn't expect Bailey to reach out to
neighboring nations so soon, let alone get everyone on the same page.
The gathering of elites from five nations at the Sacred Wrym Summit in Dragonmarsh hinted that
something big was about to happen.
Bailey sensed something and turned to look out of the courtyard. "Look, our friends from Eskus are
here!"
Three figures emerged from the darkness, clad in black and moving with nimbleness, becoming one
with the night.

courtyard.
Seeing this, the one-eyed warrior instinctively drew his sword. But Anthony raised his hand to stop him.
"Welcome, friends from Eskus!" Bailey stood up with open arms, warmly greeting the newcomers.
The trio raised their hooded cloaks, unveiling faces reminiscent of Streuqua descent.
Unlike Bailey's fair hair and blue eyes, their skin had a deeper hue, and their hair was a rich black. It
seemed they hailed from mixed backgrounds.
"Hello, Mr. Bailey, it's been a while," the trio greeted respectfully.
"It certainly has, my friends." Bailey embraced each of them.
