And then it came, finally. I just woke up from a nightmare and after a moment to calm my mind asked:

- What hour is it?

- Nine in the morning - replayed AI.

It was actually a cool function that it was changing measurement units from local to ones I could understand.

I was only in my underwear, provided by Druoag. Who was so kind to get me clothes which looked like made on earth.

I just rolled out of the bed. Normally I could use shadow walk to put myself on my feet, which I sometimes did, but now there was no way of doing that, so I simply crashed on the floor. Why did I do it? I don't know, but I remained there for a moment before finally picking myself up.

Then I went to take some stuff from the wardrobe. Fresh underwear, obviously, black military pants and a black hoodie. Yeah, my classic fashion choice, which also my trainer provided.

I took a shower with freezing cold water. Something I often did on Qual-O-7 since the temperature there was ridiculous, but on Jaff-15-B it wasn't. It was more similar to earth where weather varied from hot to cold. There was rain, which I experienced, and apparently also snow, but for that, there was still too early.

Cleaned up I went to the kitchen to make something simple to eat. An attempt to create a serial mixed with an attempt to create cow milk. It tasted... Yeah, let's stop at that. It 'tasted'.

- You have a visitor - AI informed me.

- Let them in - Let them in - I said before it managed to tell me who it is.

I could hear the click of the door unlocking. One of the Atri got inside carefully looking around, scanning for me.

- I'm here - I raised my voice as I was finishing the bowl of food attempt.

She immediately went straight to my kitchen, and as she appeared, she also bowed slightly to show her respect. I attempted to return the gesture, with a spoon in my mouth as I was sitting, which probably looked like I was mocking her.

- Are you ready? Your owner is already waiting for you - she informed me.

I looked down at the half-eaten bowl of serial, then just dropped the spoon, as I didn't really want to finish it.

- Yeah, I'm ready - I replied and got on my feet.

Then I went to grab my translating device and followed her outside, all the way down, using the elevator. We got outside of the building where on the sidewalk was parked a flying vehicle with Yagg waiting inside. I just got in without a word, he didn't say a thing either.

The Atri had to find our silence quite funny, as she fought herself to not smile. We took off almost immediately and flew above the city. I looked through the window at the never-ending metropolis below. Massive buildings reaching the clouds, massive entertainment complexes where you could enjoy numerous things, socialize, eat, play, dance, watch...

Every possible means of entertainment, it was all there. And people crowded on streets like little ants walking in constant streams. The flow never stopped. It was so overwhelming, that I found it kinda scary.

It felt like if you tripped in those crowds, you would be crushed by all of those aliens. In my past life, it would probably be enough for me to never want to get out, and now I was watching it from the sky.

It didn't take us long to approach a gigantic complex full of splendor. It looked like a state of art like somebody molded it all with clay creating this spiraling shape filled with lights shooting straight up, and dancing on the clouds above.

We landed on one of the many designated spots and got off. Yagg clearly knew the way, as he just walked off almost leaving us. We had to rush to catch up, and enter the elevator, to take us below. We got down several floors and walked through a short corridor where we joined a bunch of other aliens to board a small train-like vehicle, which took us to a different part of the building.

It was some kind of means of transportation for the staff, as the others who were there with us clearly were working there.

We got off, and maneuvering to a bunch of entangled corridors finally got to a much wider one, leading straight to the arena outside. It was probably an underground one, as I could see the roof above, with a massive amount of lights, shining brightly on a big sandpit covered by some energy dome of deep blue color. A barrier to prevent what was going on there, to reach the audience.

The stands could easily fit a few dozens thousands of people, and the seats which were too far had massive screens hanging from the ceiling, to showcase what was going on in the sandpit.

The audience was already partially there, slowly sitting down. There was clearly some pre-show to start first, as I noticed something was going on on the right-hand side of mine. I couldn't really tell why, as Yagg pushed me towards my waiting room using his powers.

- There is no time to admire the location. You can do that later, after the fight - he said.

I just shrugged my shoulders and started walking, to follow him inside. Druoag had to hear us from the inside, as he opened the massive doors for us.

- Hello - he said, and smiled at me.

- Morning - I replied, and returned the smile.

Contrary to Yagg, it was good to see him.

He moved to the side to make space for us to enter. The space was quite big. There was some equipment to warm yourself up, a small ring, a big couch, a large screen to watch what was going on in the sandpit, a bar with some food and drinks, and obviously a bathroom.

- I prepared some clothes for you - said Yagg. - They are reinforced.

For a second I thought about this proposition.

- No, thank you. I'll fight with what I'm wearing.

He just shrugged his shoulders.

My reasoning behind that was simple. First of all, I didn't really trust him if the matter involved other Calludins, and on top of that, the reinforced clothes were useless when facing somebody who can twist you like a wet towel.. Besides, I liked my iconic look, with the smoking skull on my back.
