[Ding! You killed a Player: Black Coffin Pride. You received 1,100 Experience and a Player Bag. Due to the difference of 11 levels, you earned 1,650 less Experience.]
"So little?" Liu Ye commented as he saw how much experience he was getting. Now that they dropped to level 12, he would get 0 experience for each additional kill so there was no point wasting time on them.
From the very start, he didn't plan to chase after them anymore but it didn't hurt to scare them a little. Liu Ye would still kill them if they messed with him but if he spent all the time on them he would fall behind. He couldn't give others the chance to beat him.
Huh?
Liu Ye was about to open his profile to message Xu Yue about their location when he received a notification.
[Server Announcement! Party by Queen of Chess was the first to kill the Waterfall Valley Field Boss: Black Bear. Achievement Reward: All players received 5 gold and 5 Fame.]
He expected Xu Yue to go grind with Zhenzhen and forgot that she was actually in the middle of killing the Field Boss before anything happened. As much as he wanted to finish the Black Vulture, Liu Ye was more interested in Zhenzhen's power instead.
"Big Bro, are you okay?"
When he reached their location, Zhenzhen called out as soon as she saw him and rushed to him to check for his wounds. She only calmed down when she realized he was fine. "Please don't die again. I don't want to see you die."
"It's okay, now that I have a Little Bunny with me, she will protect me," Liu Ye assured while pinching her cheek and Zhenzhen took it seriously.
"I won't let you die, ever," Zhenzhen promised just before Xu Yue's players exploded with cheers at his sight.
"It's Grind God!"
It turned out Xu Yue's players who died earlier were also together with them so Liu Ye passed on the stolen items for Xu Yue to distribute. All he left for himself were some crafting items he could need in the future before giving everything else to Xu Yue.
"It would be great if we could create a store later to sell our items," Xu Yue suggested casually while looking at all the potion stacks in her inventory. "Let's get the Guild set up first."
Only Zhenzhen had two necessary Elements but so Liu Ye had to boost her. It would be best if she killed all the monsters on her own but kill stealing was much quicker in her case.
"Sir Grind God! Will you join us in farming? We still have some time left."
Xu Yue's players were still excited to play with him but when they grouped up around him, Liu Ye suddenly took his girls and dipped. "Maybe some other time. Try to level up first."
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThey were speechless by him running away with the Zhenzhen and Xu Yue in his arms but he didn't wish to waste more time.
"Are you going to carry us like this?" Xu Yue questioned after he didn't let them down even when they lost sight of others.
"You are right, it's not comfortable," Liu Ye replied and placed them down. "Little Bunny, get on my back."
Zhenzhen's eyes brightened and she jumped on top of him while wrapping her legs around his waist. It was not the first time she rode piggyback on his back as they did it since they were kids.
"Don't get too excited," Liu Ye pointed out as he noticed Xu Yue's expression. "I'm only doing it because you decided to put so few points into Dexterity. How can you be so slow?"
"Oh, come on, I have 8 points less than you. Of course, I will—"
Liu Ye cut off her excuses and picked her up like a Princess. "If you tease me, I will drop you."
He dashed away immediately after the warning and Xu Yue pursed her lips. "Are you going to drop your girlfriend?"
Liu Ye only shrugged. "Not on purpose, but if you distract me, I might trip on a rock and have to drop you to catch balance."
Xu Yue has been too open since they went back together so she sometimes needed a small correction. He still felt weird going back to how they were in the past so he would rather take it slow.
Tch.
Xu Yue didn't comment on that and busied herself with chatting to Zhenzhen. It turned out that she didn't expose her healing in front of others yet which couldn't be better. There was something he wanted to try with it but that required a large number of monsters.
"Little Bunny, how much damage does your Puffy do?" Liu Ye questioned as he began to notice level 25 monsters in the distance. The sun was still not fully up so they were still in hunting mode.
"I think I saw it was 100," Zhenzhen replied unsurely.
"Tell him to attack every monster he sees but only once," Liu Ye commanded and she repeated the order.
With Liu Ye's speed, nothing at this level could catch up to him so they lured every monster in the area. When Zhenzhen saw more than fifty monsters running behind them crazily, she tightened her grip around his neck.
"Maybe we should get more..." Liu Ye muttered while circling his prey in the open grass field. When luring monsters, it was common that one had a different speed than the other so he had to correct the difference in distance from time to time.
Zhenzhen wasn't a fan of his tactic at all.
"I think that's enough... I'm scared," Zhenzhen expressed and he finally stopped. The constant roaring behind them didn't bother him at all but she was shivering.
"Don't worry, I'm with you," Liu Ye assured her and dropped Xu Yue off on the side while luring the monsters away. "Just hold tight and focus on healing me the whole time so I don't get hurt. I will handle the rest."
When the word 'hurt' reached her, Zhenzhen momentarily snapped out of her fear and she withdrew water into her hands. "I'm ready."
It was time for a counterattack.
Water covered Liu Ye's arms and he slapped the monsters with his Large Water Whips.

He chunked them multiple times only to deliberately get hit. The monster's teeth sank into his legs, causing him to hiss in pain.

"Ah!" Zhenzhen exclaimed anxiously and instantly healed him back to full health. He didn't even need to see to know she was both worried for him and angry at the monsters.
"Puffy! Attack!"
She called out for backup and the blue sparrow appeared out of nowhere to bite on the pack of wolves at the front.
"Don't forget to manage your mana!" Liu Ye reminded as he jumped back to change his position. "Drink Mana Potions every twenty seconds. I will be fine, I promise."
This whole battle was meant to teach her the game under extreme conditions. Playing with him would never be safe so he had to train her well before he could leave her alone for even a split second.
"Don't stay too close! They are hurting you!" Zhenzhen warned after a full minute of pain but Liu Ye continued to get bitten.
Even though she hated to see it, this was the best method to improve her Elemental Mastery. Not only was she using healing which was part of Waterbending but also her Battle Spirit which was part of the Spiritbending.

"I already did," Zhenzhen replied unhappily.
"Alright, show me what you can unlock," Liu Ye proposed. He has already lowered all the monsters to under 1000 HP so he didn't hit them anymore.
Zhenzhen struggled to move in her position but Liu Ye supported her by the thighs. She eventually opened her profile and the window appeared directly in front of his face.
[Spirit Pierce]
[Description: Ability exclusive to Battle Spirits. Your Battle Spirit can pierce through an opponent in its Spirit form.]
"Unlock this one," Liu Ye chose quickly and it turned out to be a clutch ability.
Puffy brightened with light and he grew in size ever so slightly. His body shone with light and instead of biting, it went directly through every monster one by one.

Each time puffy dealt 100 damage and 10 Mana was drained each second. It would seem a lot compared to the damage output if not for the fact that they had 50 enemies grouped up together. Each second Puffy flew past multiple monsters, slowly butchering them all.
Looking at the sudden massacre, Liu Ye felt lucky Zhenzhen was on his side.

His notifications piled up in his inbox until all monsters were killed. To his surprise, he even leveled up from this training which wasn't even his plan at all.
Too bad, despite the successful mission, one person wasn't happy at all.
"Big Bro," Zhenzhen muttered as she dropped from his back and turned him around. She stared him down upset and hugged him as tight as she could.
"I'm not dumb..."
