Chapter 1308 The Gift
Antonio, of course, knew that the person who took care of Selena was called over and instructed not to tell her for the tbeing,
lest she be distracted.
As for Osvaldo himself, he disliked anything that took Selena's attention away from him, especially if it involved others. Naturally,
he wouldn't tell Selena about it, indirectly resulting in Selena, as the fiancée of the Anderson family, being the last person to find
out that Antowas celebrating his birthday.
Seeing Selena frowning, Leia said, "Madam Selena, don't worry. Young Master will accompany you personally, and the gifts are all
ready."
Selena thought that although it was not a big deal for an old man to celebrate his birthday, after all, Antowas Osvaldo's
grandfather. As his future fiancée, she couldn't be too perfunctory.
With that in mind, Selena stood up and walked to the garden downstairs.
Leia followed Selena with a puzzled look and walked into her flower room where she usually painted and wrote.
Selena walked to the desk, spread out a blank sheet of paper, picked up a pen, and started writing. Leia couldn't tell what Selena
was writing at first, but when it took shape, Leia's eyes widened in amazement.
She was about to exclaim in surprise, but she suddenly realized that she might disturb Selena and immediately covered her mouth,
her black eyes rolling around.
Leia looked at Selena standing behind the table. She was a slender girl, but there was a strong, domain-like aura about her as she
wrote. And... how did Madam Selena know that Antoliked this so much?!

After Selena finished writing, she carefully looked at it to make sure it was presentable. Then she put down the brush and
instructed Leia, "Bring it with us. Let's go to the Anderson family."
Leia carefully picked up the piece of calligraphy, afraid that she might accidentally break it. She knew that if she did, Antowould
have her head.
Just as Selena reached the door, she ran into Osvaldo, who had cto pick her up. Selena got into the passenger seat, and
Osvaldo drove towards the Anderson family.
The Anderson family, the head of the four major families, rarely welcomed guests. However, they happened to be celebrating
Antonio's 80th birthday, which was a grand occasion.
Antonio's wife had passed away from illness in her early years, Cassius had been expelled from the family, Osvaldo was always
traveling, and Selena had not yet officially married into the family, leaving only Benjamin and Lady Lauren as the two masters of
the Anderson family.
Benjamin was cold and aloof, preferring to sleep rather than waste his telsewhere.
Of course, no one in the whole capital had the privilege to invite the big shot to attend to them. Lady Lauren, however, enjoyed
being a part of the excitement, especially when it concerned her daughter-in-law. She stood at the door with a few servants,
smiling brightly and welcoming guests.
The group of men who knew the true nature of the Anderson family were sweating coldly, acting extremely polite and fearing to
upset Lady Lauren, lest Benjamin would publicly kick them out.
Compared to other young ladies, Vivian was a regular visitor to the Anderson family. She dressed especially brightly and beautifully
today to show off her unique honor. She walked up to Lady Lauren with a smile and called her "Madam" affectionately.
Lady Lauren looked at the Shaw siblings and casually avoided the hand that Vivian reached out to her. She said with a smile,
"Osvaldo and Selena haven't cback yet. You can sit in the hall for a while."
Since Lady Lauren had spoken, naturally, no one dared to express any other opinions.
Vivian walked into the hall familiarly and was surrounded by a group of young ladies. Although the Shaw family lost the research
department to the Turner family, they still had a long way to go before they fell into decline. Therefore, Vivian was still one of the
four great young ladies.
Moreover, everyone knew that only Vivian and Constance, because of their relationship with Freddie and Dante, had the privilege
of visiting the Anderson family frequently.
Constance had beca joke, and only Vivian could please many young ladies with flattery.
A young lady asked nervously, "Miss Shaw, do you know what Master Antolikes?"
Since it was rare to have the opportunity to enter the Anderson family's gates, everyone wanted to please Master Antonio.
Moreover, it was his 80th birthday, so it wouldn't be good if they gave him a gift he didn't like.
Vivian lifted her chin high and smiled, "Master Antoused to live in the suburban area and rarely cback to his family. I'm not
sure about this."
The group of young ladies looked at Vivian's proud expression and knew that she was not telling the truth. If she really didn't know
what Master Antoliked, then the expression on her face would be just like theirs, and she would not be so confident.
Many young ladies looked down on Vivian's superior attitude deep down.
She was able to establish a relationship with the Anderson family thanks to the bond she shared with Freddie and Osvaldo, whom
she grew up with, and not because of any connection with Vivian herself.

In terms of looks, talent, and even background, Vivian was not outstanding among the many young ladies in the capital. In terms of
education, she was neither as good as Constance before her exposure, nor as good as Winnie and Penelope. Not to mention the
later up-and-coming Miss Turner.
As for her appearance, Vivian was not exceptional.
Even in terms of family background, she was the least distinguished among those top-tier socialites.
Vivian's narrow-mindedness was evident from her deliberate concealment of Master Antonio's preferences while her expression
clearly showed her desire to make a nfor herself.
"Miss Shaw, | don't know what she's being arrogant about," whispered a young lady who couldn't stand Vivian's false appearance
to another young lady next to her.
"The Shaw family owes its position today to the power they stole from the Turner family when they took advantage of the
situation.”
"With the Turner family's momentum, it's only a matter of tbefore they take back the research institute. Then, it's hard to say if
she can still be arrogant..."
Although the young lady's voice was low, Vivian still heard a hint of it. She walked over to the two young ladies in high heels and
asked coldly, "What were you talking about just now?"
The two young ladies, who were also proud and dissatisfied with Vivian, had even more unpleasant expressions when she publicly
questioned them.
The young lady who spoke first sneered, "Nothing, we were just discussing Miss Turner."
"She's definitely coming today to wish Master Antoa happy birthday. With her talent, the gift she gives to Master Antowill
surely be better than anything anyone else here can offer."
