As their eyes met, Alicia's heart still jolted in pain. She unconsciously tightened her grip on the box. Nevertheless, she did this for a mere couple of seconds before she looked away and turned around. "Sir, here's your change and your stuff, here you go! Thanks for your support and may you good luck!" She did not forget to give her customer a new box and still wore her smile sweetly.
Looking at her, Frederick was furious, rage vibrating through his being. She seemed to be having plenty of fun selling those goods, wasn't she? Fifty Shades of Grey? She really learned fast! Alicia acted as though she had not seen anything and kept walking while unwrapping the box of condoms she had squeezed flat moments ago.
"Hello Sir, Euphoria Inc's Fifty Temptations, you can buy it or get it for free. Six different sensations, the passion of ice and fire; would you like to have one?" A shadow clooming over her. She took one condom out and handed it over without looking. Then, she raised her head to a familiar face and her eyes widened.
Chet? F*ck, what luck did she have? Chet had seen her unexpectedly. He noticed her wearing a small vest with the brand logo, then saw the box in her hands. The comer of his mouth twitched as he was speechless and bewildered. His gaze fell on the figure behind her; Frederick had such a gloomy expression that he would be one with the night sky.
What was going on? Was this skind of prank? Before he cto his senses, he heard an angry but soft voice, "How unlucky!" Retracting her hand, Alicia turned around and strode away.

Alicia never thought she would have ran into Frederick here. The tiny bit of good mood that she had disappeared instantly. Walking further down the street, she started promoting again but she had lost all her drive. Until the end, she spent most of the tstanding in a daze.
Fortunately, her sales performance at the start was good. There were not many people working tonight, therefore she got the top seat.
For the first time, she did not feel happy or comforted as she held the money.
Although it was just for about two hours and it was only 10 pm, the work had made her feel better. She then returned to her car.
Starting the engine, she paused suddenly as she thought, "I wouldn't be able to use this car after tomorrow! Even if I could, I can't afford the maintenance!" In the future, it would not be as convenient anymore as she had to use public transport! Sighing faintly, she held back the sting in her eyes. "What are you sad about? He doesn't even care about you! Don't waste your tears! You can just start all over again!" She tapped her cheeks and cheered up.
She had been thinking all the way home. She had to pack her belongings quickly and move out before she was evicted, otherwise, it would be awfully embarrassing.
On the road, she was so muddled she did not even notice a familiar black sedan trailing behind her. It stopped following and sped up only when she made the final turn into the street where their house was. Entering the house a few minutes earlier, Frederick headed to the bar. He wanted a few drinks to suppress his emotions. Alicia did not notice that the lights were on when she cin. She was frustrated that she had forgotten to buy a few shopping bags from the supermarket on the way home. Her luggage case could not contain all her belongings.
As she was in a bad mood, she made exaggerated movements while pouting. Holding her handbag close as if she was afraid of being robbed, she raised her leg and kicked both her shoes off.
Frederick narrowed his eyes and watched her as she walked blankly to the stairway. Lifting her foot, she suddenly paused in her tracks. "Did I turn on the lights just now?" Turning around, she subconsciously looked at the light switches and a tall, dark figure cinto view. She becwide awake at that moment. Her long eyelashes fluttered and without thinking, she turned around and ran all the way to pick up her shoes before standing up straight and tidied herself. She then walked to the bar table slowly.
Why did he cback? Why did he have to cback today? She was doomed! Stepping forward, she was still red in the face from embarrassment. She did not want to talk to Frederick but she had to say something. She lowered her head slightly and spoke weakly.
"Can you givetwo more days to move out? I have to pack a few things! I won't take anything that belongs here!" Although she did not have many belongings, they were all necessities! He would not be so cruel as to chase her out immediately in the middle of the night, would he? It was better if she did not speak. As she spoke, Frederick felt like strangling her.
He reached out and pulled her over. Turning around, he trapped her against the counter. "Where are you going? Are you so eager to escape from me, huh?" Alicia was still in confusion and lifted her eyes. Where else would she go? She could only go to her mother's house! What was with his tone? She furrowed her brows and leaned back unconsciously.

As if she thought of something, she looked through her bag and fished out the car keys. Taking off the bear keychain, she then put the keys on the bar counter. "Oh, there's still this!" In fact, all she wanted was for him to understand that she did not covet for any of his belongings. But, every action that drew the line between them had only made Frederick angrier.
He spat out, "Am I that unworthy of you to even think about me? You can sell those stuff to men out on then nout streets late at night but you can' even work on me? Alicia Blanchard, are you stupid?" With a wave of his hand, he slapped away her bag. "Is there anything that you wouldn't do for money?" She even dared to sell condoms; wasn't she afraid that the men would have other thoughts about her? D*mn it, did she not only ignore him but wooed his assistant instead? Were her huge eyes just plain decorations?
Alicia had already felt wronged and angry but she was controlling her emotions and discussed with him in a friendly tone. She wanted for them to go their own ways peacefully and did not want to lose her composure in front of him. However, he was still acting so arrogantly although they were about to separate. She could not stand it anymore as her temper sparked.
"What does my actions have to do with you? Why did you throw my stuff again?" She bent over to pick it up but Frederick caught her wrist.
"None of my business, huh? As long as I don't sign the papers, you, Alicia Blanchard, are still my wife. I would like to see who would dare to snatch you away from me." Jeremy Pitcher? He could finish him anytime! "Are you willing to do anything for money?" She was always fighting with him over that bit of money! Taking out a check, he slapped it on the table. "Helpentertain a client and this one million dollar would be yours!" X
