Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Was he really unforgivable? Frederick had never seen her like that before. He felt that she was nitpicking! However, she was so at ease whenever he didn't approach her. It didn't matter if she was reading a book or playing with her phone, she would just be there, sitting alone quietly, with a gentle smile plastered on her face. It was as if she was living a peaceful life! Massaging his temples, Frederick felt helpless; even the blueberries that she loved were not working.

The way she looked when she leaned against him like a kitten every night filled his mind. He didn't expect that it would be ruined because of Danica's whim! Feeling something faintly, Alicia subconsciously raised her head, only to see a tall figure disappear at the door. In an instant, her eyes were shaded with a thin layer of mist, but then she lowered her head and turned a page.

After stime, a maid ran up to her excitedly and said, "Miss Blanchard! Miss Blanchard! Mr. Nick is here to see you!" "My brother is here?" Alicia threw away the book in her hand and jumped off the bed.

"Miss Blanchard, please slow down. Be careful not to fall! As soon as Mr. Nick got off the car, I cup-" "Okay, thank you!" Alicia smiled back happily, put on her slippers, and ran out in a hurry. On the stairs, she saw the familiar figure and suddenly felt warmth emitting her heart. "Nicholas!" She called out, before stomping down the stairs hurriedly.

Nicholas turned around. He went up to her and said, "Don't run, slow down!" "Nicholas! Nicholas! I missed you so much!" After a few steps, Alicia jumped at Nicholas, who had already stretched out his hands, catching her. "How old are you? Why do you still act like a child? Aren't you afraid of falling?" Nicholas gave her a tight hug while caressing her hair lovingly. He helped her steady herself before releasing his grip.

At that moment, Frederick was watching them from the entrance of the stairs. With a heavy heart, he began descending the stairs.

"Nicholas, what brings you here? Did something happen?" Looking at her smiling, Nicholas poked her head and said, "Everything's fine! I just dropped by to see you!" Wasn't it because she was too headstrong that Frederick had begged him to come? Wasn't he the busiest at night? Why would he have the tto drop by? Alicia started having doubts, but before she could say anything, Frederick interjected, "Nicholas, you're here!" As their eyes met, Nicholas nodded his head. However, before he could say a word, Alicia held his arm and snorted with anger.

"Nicholas, let's sit over there! Have you eaten yet? Are you hungry? You must be thirsty! I'll make you stea and bring you sfruits. Sit, sit-" After pushing Nicholas to sit down, Alicia turned and went to the kitchen. Shortly after, she brought out sfruits and dried fruits. She also got him a cup of flower tea.

"Go ahead! Have some, Nicholas!" Alicia took an apple and put it in his hand. She then grabbed smelon seeds and placed them on the table. When she looked up, she saw a big bag beside him. Immediately, she took it. "What's inside? Is it for me?" Before Nicholas could even say anything, she had already taken what was inside of the bag out. It was a stuffed toy wrapped with a flowery plastic bag in a large and soft paper bag. "Wow, it's so beautiful!" Inside the transparent plastic bag was a furry, long-haired cat. At first glance, its eyes looked real. It was not big, but it had a lazy posture. Suddenly, Alicia thought of Hallie's Persian cat named Baby, and her heart welled up with sadness. Nicholas added, "They say it's new in stores, and I know that you like toys like this!" In truth, Frederick had told him that she was in a bad mood, and asked him to bring something to cheer her up. The problem was that he had no idea what she needed. Hence, when he saw a shop on his way there, he went in and got that! He raised his hand and caressed the back of Alicia's head affectionately. Hethen said, "Howold are you? You're still acting like a child! Frederick must have been treating you well and spoiling you!" Everything was fine before he brought it up. The moment he mentioned it, all the grievances crushing out of Alicia. She threw herself into his arms and hugged him. She started complaining and groaning.

"Nicholas, he isn't good to me. He's bullyingand going behind my back-" To see his old lover! As she was venting her frustration, she unconsciously swallowed her words. Subconsciously, she seemed to know that it was inappropriate to say such things to her brother, but she just could not control herself, especially with the unstoppable sadness. Tears began to roll down her cheeks.

She didn't want to cry, especially in front of her loved ones! However, at the moment, she felt hurt beyond words.

As their eyes met, color drained from Frederick's face. He was anxious. On the other hand, Nicholas was shocked. He didn't expect her to be so fragile. It wasn't like her at all! Unconsciously, he glared at Frederick when Frederick had already told him what had happened before! Frederick had no choice but to be truthful and ask him for help, putting him in a bad position and making him cover.

At that moment, he started doubting whether Frederick had really done something wrong and upset his sister! He patted Alicia's back comfortingly and said, "Did he do something terrible to you which broke your heart? I will beat him up for you!" After getting up, Nicholas began unbuttoning his suit.

There were still tears at the corners of Alicia's eyes. Seeing that he wasn't joking, she grabbed his arm.

"Nicholas, it's fine. Don't do that! He just went to see his old flame. He didn't actually do anything...

I just felt uncomfortable and couldn't control myself. I don't know what's wrong! It's so frustrating..." She said softly.

He rolled his eyes at him and then gently wiped off the tears at them f corner of Alicia's eyes. "If you're upset, just scold or beat him. You don't have to hold back! He deserves it, as it was thoughtless him. You don't have to blOK yourself! Withbacking you up, there's no need to be afraid of anyone! Ally, are... you not feeling well?" Why was she so impetuous?

Could it be that she had been holding back her emotions for too long, m which resulted in this sudden outburst of emotions? "Eh? I'm all right! Nicholas, why do you ask" Shaking her head, she muttered in a daze.

Frederick's heart wrenched and his face darkened in an instant.
