Suddenly, Bella heard the doorbell ring and rushed over to open the door. She immediately saw Ethan standing
there with smedication in hand.
"I heard that something happened in the hospital. Are you alright? | wasn't there at that time. Otherwise, |
wouldn't have allowed them to hurt you."
Her mind began to buzz. Dominic was still in her home, and he was already in a bad mood.

Then, he said, "It's alright. We're all colleagues here. Anyway, I'll be heading off first. You can keep the
medication for yourself, Bella."
Bella awkwardly took the medicine, and as soon as Ethan left, Dominic immediately closed the door.
She could feel a chill run down her spine as she turned around and found herself face-to-face with him.
He leaned down, his breath warm on her cheek. "Can you keep those men around you at a distance? They're
such an eyesore."
She gave him a forced smile. "He's just my colleague. It wouldn't be good to distance myself too much. Every
workplace is like a small society, and I'll still have to interact with people."
Dominic sneered as he said, "He even said how he wouldn't have let anyone touch you if he had been there. I'd
like to see how such a lanky man like him would stand up to those two crazy women from the Kleins. He'd better
watch out, or they'd end up scratching his face. Not that there was much to look at to begin with."
Bella was feeling uncomfortable as Dominic was pressing her up against the wall. She reached out to push him
away and said, "Could you move..."
He refused. "You'd better explain it toproperly, or I'll have you here right now!"
Bella was immediately filled with exasperation.
"What do you wantto say? | really don't have anything to do with him. My life is already difficult enough with
how things are, so can't you cutsslack?"
As soon as she finished speaking, he
bent down to kiss her roughly. The
thought of how swollen her face was made her want to cry. She couldn't even stand her current appearance, so
how could he even bring himself to kiss her?
Bella gave in and waited for him to finish. Once he was done, she was slightly breathless as she said shyly,
"You're impossible... If | didn't know you well enough, I'd think you're jealous because you actually like me.
Honestly, | have a hard
every day. By the way, what are you planning to do with the Kleins?"
His expression darkened. "What else can | do? You'd better go and take care of your face. Looking at you now is
just killing my desire." Bella was speechless.

continues to bother me, then the Klein family will only meet their end faster." His cruel words were effective as
no one else cto bother her.
Since she now owed Dominic a favor, Bella wanted to show him her gratitude and appreciation.
That evening, she prepared a home-cooked meal for him. "I'm not as good as Sylvia, but this is my way of saying
thank you for today."
