Meanwhile, Lenny and his crew were facing their own problems.
The arrival of the merged giant that stood before them made them stop their advance, and some men had thought of deserting.
But Ella had been strict with discipline.
She gave death as the only option for escape.
Naturally, it worked convincingly well.
No one wanted to be on the receiving end of her wrath.
She turned to the giant-formed Negative Spirit.
She was about to fire off her Arrow, But Lenny jumped in front.
"This one is mine! Just distract it a little."
He stated his intention as he rushed for it.

The stats of the Giant Negative Spirit floated before his eyes.
It was strong, but not in terms that were scary to Lenny.
As far as he was concerned, it was just a bigger opponent than most.
Lenny had some experience fighting the smaller ones.
He was not too sure how he was going to do it, but he knew that attacking the rest of the body was stupid.
For this creature, it would not work. After all, there were only so many Magic points he had, and he was not ready to waste them on this guy.
Even though his magic had gotten stronger than before, he would not be so foolish as to think that what he had was going to be enough for a fight against a witch as powerful as Ciri.
They were also those other ladies who visited for reasons he did not understand.
Lenny was not sure why, but he knew they were just around the corner, most likely expecting him to lose guard or mess up.
However, he wasn't.
For this giant mass that was called a negative Spirit, he had a better plan.
He was going to hit it right at the core.
Ella had heard Lenny's words as clear as day.
She pointed her bow at the giant figure.
Holy arrows appeared as they extended off of it.
Six arrows in total appeared, and they were instantly launched at the monster.
Her aim was true, and her arrows darted through the air for the Massive negative Spirit.
Naturally, the Negative Spirit sensed this as it howled at her, bringing down its mighty hand.
With how large the Negative Spirit was, it was practically impossible for her to miss.
The shots burned it as it landed on its body.
Meanwhile, Lenny had disappeared through the side of the battlefield.
As much as a frontal confrontation was beautiful to engage in, Lenny was not that kind of person.
After all, he was at heart an Assassin.
It was nighttime, and even the blood-red glow of the Blood moon could not hide the night from its true nature.
As an assassin, the night was his abode.
Like fish in water, he swarms through its shadows.
This was a forest region filled with trees and leaves, but Lenny moved without so much as a rustle beneath his feet or a shake of a branch because he brushed against it.
His body seemed to meld with it and become one with it.
He had made it to the highest point of the longest tree that he could find.
Now that he had made it to the top, he was going to execute a plan that he knew was risky.
Then again, risk and Death were only acquaintances of his.
He waved his hands, and the swords disappeared into the storage unit.
"Satan system, nothing living can go into the storage unit, right?"
<Affirmative>
"Good! What of unliving?"
<Calculating...>
<This is possible. However, depending on the size, a lot of magic points would be necessary>
"Do I have enough magic points for this, then?"
<Affirmative! The required points would be 300 points>
"Really? That expensive!?" Lenny frowned.
He could not help but imagine if he had attempted this feat when he had not upgraded his magic points.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAfter all, back then, one fireball cost him 250 magic points, and right now, it only costs him 5.
If he had tried this feat when his magic had not improved, it would have been totally useless.
It would have drained all his magic points, and he would still not be able to pull all of the Negative spirits into his storage unit.
Fortunately, he had enough magic points to accommodate the purchase.
However, there was still another problem.
For Lenny to take an item into his storage, he had to first touch it.
Unfortunately, the Negative Spirit was Ethereal in nature.
At least most of it was. The only way to achieve this was to go touch that one part of it that was not.
And that was the big red eye high up on its head.
It was for this reason that Lenny rose to a high position.
This was going to reduce the effort needed to pull off such a stunt.
Besides, he had to make sure that the creature was not aware that he was coming.
He did not need his swords for this mission.
Ella did a good job of distracting the creature as Lenny took position.
He squatted very low against the thick, rough trunk of the tree.
Low enough that he looked like a frog.
And then it happened.
His muscles compressed like the mouth of a Clam. His veins bulged so much that one could see them pop from under his clothes.
His eyes were focused on the goal, and every part of him seemed to get ready for the massive explosion of energy that was sure to come.
His eyes measured the distance well, and the red ruby glowed in his eyes.
At this moment, Lenny's gaze was as sharp as that of an eagle stalking prey.
His mind captured all the movements the Negative Spirit made in relation to the angle he was at.
His prediction and precision were right.
He knew that he only had one...
