Pluto was occupied for six years. It was a flourishing planet, full of hopes and dreams.

When it was conquered, not a single one of the billion Plutonians was spared.

The army tried to negotiate to get the corpses. It was partly because some traditions needed to burn or bury the deceased for a better afterlife. But more than those traditions, it was the army that insisted to give everyone a proper send-off.

Yet…all negotiations broke down.

The human corpses were burnt and only their ashes floated around on Pluto. It was rumored that these ashes themselves formed a thin layer covering the ground.

And on that layer of ashes, abyssals built their defense bases and fortifications.

Almost half a million abyssals were stationed on pluto while far more were on the frontlines, fighting in the planetoids in between Neptune and Pluto.

Despite their best tries, humanity was constrained by the two front wars of Fallen Pluto and Thunder Abyss.

Despite Pluto planetoids being some of the weakest in overall combat power, humans simply had no way of occupying them.

But the wars continued, big and small. Humanity never stopped trying to take over pluto planetoids.

Their grand goal was to occupy the planetoids one by one before advancing to Pluto and reclaiming it.

It just never came to fruition.

So, whether they liked it or not, Pluto was peaceful for the last six years. For abyssals who wanted nothing more than contributing to their motherland, being deployed here was a punishment.

Besides protecting some 'important' items, Pluto had zero dangers. The dungeons weren't a nuisance either since abyssals themselves were the dungeon masters.

"Argh… just want to hunt some humans." Rivak, in his elegant yet solemn general outfit, muttered as he leaned back against his chair.

He violated orders once and went deep into the human frontline, trying to take down the sneaky telepaths. It almost got him killed.

And here he was, serving a year of Pluto service. Fucking hell.

The only silver lining was that whenever the situation on Pluto planetoids got out of hand, he'd be called as a reinforcement.

"Fuck this shitty planet. If not for closing up the solar system, who wants this trash planet?" He stood up with a snort and exited his office building.

"Sir!"

"Sir!"

The security guards were unfocused and missed the ideal time to greet him. Realizing their mistake, they quickly saluted.

Rivak looked at their sweaty faces and decided not to punish them. With a small push of his lightning mana, his body turned into a streak of lightning and he appeared a hundred miles away.

The situation on Pluto was the same as usual.

Most of abyssals were in the training halls. They were using aura crystals, special potions, and formations to progress.

With sufficient progress, you could reduce your stay in Pluto and be transferred to a more active location.

"Tch. I can't make any more progress." Rivak cursed under his breath and passed by the patrol guards.

Like usual, a portion of them was patrolling all the important facilities and routes, while the rest stayed in guard.

In the six years of occupation, Pluto was never once attacked. So, while the abyssals didn't slack off, it was natural that they weren't at their sharpest. Even the ones deployed here for a month fell from their peak state.

So, when a bizarre change occurred in one of Pluto's dungeons, it wasn't noticed immediately.

Rivak who was about to enter an important facility for inspection suddenly stopped in his tracks.

[Dreamer has used Cross Tunneling. We don't know where he is heading for. Be Alert.]

"Tch." Rivak snickered with bright eyes. "I wish that guy comes here, I will pull lightning through his bones and tie his hamstrings like a—"

KEEA!

His bracelet suddenly glowed and Rivak instinctively opened it. The next moment, his eyes widened as he noticed the tracker glowing as it showed Enigma's position, just a few hundred miles above Pluto.

"Hahaha! You could've gone anywhere. You came here. Bitch! You chose to die!" With reverberating laughter, his body turned into a streak of lightning and he shot up into the sky.

In mere seconds, he crossed the atmosphere and reached outer space.

Enigma's position in the tracker hologram kept moving away from Pluto as if she was trying to escape.

"Hahaha! So, coming here was a mistake?" Rivak concluded with a burst of roaring laughter and two thin, yet dazzling lightning wings appeared on his back.

Whoosh!

With a single flap, he crossed hundreds of miles and saw her.

Standing in the void, all alone. Her black dress seemed to conceal the darkest thoughts in her heart and her tri-color eyes gleamed with killing intent.

If it was a normal level 9, they'd be scared silly.

But Rivak was no normal level 9. He was a peak level 9. That's why he was the leader of the Pluto division.

"Where did your friend go?" Rivak asked her, covering his voice in mana so that it could travel through space.

Enigma didn't respond and simply raised her hand.

Boom!

Boom!

A dozen more terrifying auras reached them and in the blink of an eye, almost fifteen abyssals were surrounding Enigma, all of them being level 9.

Rivak looked at one of the abyssal and frowned. "Did you leave anyone down?"

There were some really important items on Pluto. If Dreamer went and messed up, it'd be a problem. Not like he could steal, but still.

"I left a Level 9." The lower-ranking abyssal answered, causing Rivak to sigh inwardly.

Of course, Dreamer wouldn't be able to 'enter' that place with ghost ship. No. It didn't work like that.

Rivak looked at his subordinates. While they surrounded Enigma, their focus was also shifted elsewhere, as if trying to find an invisible enemy.

"We can't search for Dreamer." Rivak said. "Kill her first and he'll show himself sooner or later."

"Yes!"

Massive auras exploded and converged onto Enigma, forming a huge pressure as they tried to lock her down.

"Hmph!"

With a snort, Enigma disappeared right in the middle.

"Not so easy, bitch." Rivak grinned and checked his tracker.

Enigma's ability to teleport with almost no regard to restrictions was what really made her a nightmare for abyssals.

They couldn't attack her. She could run.

They couldn't encircle her. She could run.

They couldn't isolate her. She could run.

In the past, if it was the same situation, then with a few teleportations, Enigma would be of out of their senses' range.

But now…

Her every moment was recorded and her position was exposed for every abyssal.

They made full of use of it and attacked her without holding back.

Zap!!

Zap!

Zap.

Roaring thunder dragons raged through space as they tried to strike down the vanishing girl.

Enigma kept teleporting and teleporting, barely avoiding the attacks each time.

Beads of sweat began to form on her forehead and it looked like she was extremely tired.

After dodging the attacks again, she panted lightly.

"You're going down Enigma! And it's in my hands!" Rivak roared in excitement and appeared in front of her the next moment.

He raised his hand and covered it with lightning, turning it into a lightning knife.

When he was about to strike down, she once again teleported.

But Rivak didn't care and in a moment, he almost jumped to her position and slashed down his palm, aiming for her neck.

As he was only a few moments from a tremendous accomplishment, Rivak's lips curled up involuntarily.

But right then, his instincts screamed in fear and he hurriedly used lightning mana to cover himself.

But it was too late.

Kacha!

Boom!

A man with red hair appeared out of nowhere and punched his shield.
