While the necromancer was thinking about to exploit what he thought it was Ethan's weakness, Hannah decided to do the same. It seemed a bit crazy, given how Ethan was worried about touching others. Still, she couldn't imagine how bad it would be to touch an enemy.
"Hey, can't you use that on him?" Hannah whispered. "We can finish this faster if we work together, but I'm not sure you want that."
"Even if I wanted, I would have to touch him directly to get his mana," Ethan explained. "I can't do that while he has those layers of defense. What do you plan to do with him if we work together?"
"I don't have the authority to judge him, so it is obvious that I will just arrest him and hand him over to the military of this world," Hannah said. "People know that I'm stronger than him, so it is our only real option here. For the sake of the alliance between Earth and Meizibio, I can't kill him. The authorities here will want to closer this case themselves."
"What a pain… this will leave behind one hell of a loose end," Ethan sighed. "I'm sure that you are aware of how politics work in fantasy worlds, and they aren't much better than the ones back on Earth."

"Can you imagine the benefits the whole Earth will have by cooperating with the people here? We won't be able to trust each other unless things go as they want for the time being."
It was reasonable, but exactly for being unreasonable, Ethan hates it with passion. In the past, whenever he left a loose end behind, that same loose hand came back to haunt him and caused even more problems. The same thing would repeat itself… the necromancer had no idea yet how Ethan's powers as an Omni Hero worked. Still, he eventually might reach a pretty accurate conclusion. Given that, Ethan wanted to get rid of him, but given that might cause problems for Hannah, he couldn't.
"Things were so simple back then…" Ethan muttered and then sighed.
It was really insane, but he more and more was missing those bloody days where he was fighting the demon king's army. Defeat the enemy in front of you, and then move on. That was all that he had to do… It looked like Ethan was bound not to have a peaceful life again. So, there was only one thing he should do. Make an example out of those who try to mess with him or his family.
"Fine, let's do things on your way," Ethan declared. "Still, you won't like the result. Just focus on restoring my energy, okay?"
"Roger," Hannah nodded.
Even if Hannah worked hard, she wouldn't be able to restore Ethan's energy for more than a minute or two if he went all out. Still, that was plenty of time for Ethan to deal with a fool. Before the necromancer could try anything, Ethan charged at him.
Although the electric barrier still was on, the ice barrier wasn't. Most likely, that one was created by some sort of relic hidden inside the necromancer's cloak. Given that the asshole still has plenty of mana and would have even more if he makes his monsters run wild, a battle attrition wouldn't end well for the siblings. So, the best option was to get rid of the relic.
Before Ethan could attack or do anything else, a massive hand made of ice appeared in front of him and tried to smash him into pieces. The necromancer probably didn't have time to think of a good strategy, but at least he thought of a few ways to annoy Ethan and buy some time.
pαndα,noνɐ1,сoМ The ice hand was three times taller than Ethan and many times larger. However, it wasn't that fast. Still, the projectile couldn't be avoided since its mass was ridiculous. Thanks to it, Ethan was forced to block the attack, only to be forced to be pushed back several steps.
"Tsk," Ethan clicked his tongue. "So, it is like that, huh."
The necromancer wasn't holding back anymore. Still, he couldn't attack recklessly without knowing more about Ethan's strength. So, he used a spell that had a low chance of killing him, but at the same time, it was a spell that was perfect for studying warriors like Ethan. Although he didn't want to show the limits of his current strength, Ethan was forced to do so since he was caught off-guard by that attack.

While the necromancer was measuring the exact amount of mana he needed to stop Ethan, Ethan himself was trying to think of a way to stop that kind of magic attack. There was a way, but it was kind of dangerous. Still, after a while, Ethan concluded that he didn't have any other choice.

Ethan made up his mind after receiving that notification and feeling that his hands were growing numb. In the blink of an eye, he changed his stance and made only the tip of his sword touch the massive hand. In the next moment, a massive shockwave passed through the cave, and at the same time, it melted the massive hand of ice.
Before the steam could disappear, Ethan charged and attacked the necromancer again. Still, Ethan's foe summoned the other three of those hands and stopped him before he could get any closer. The necromancer had no idea what had happened. He knew that Ethan attacked the magic projectile, but a single attack of that level wouldn't have destroyed the spell. However, the next moment he discovered what had happened. Since Ethan was close, the necromancer saw Ethan touching the ice hands several times in a single second with the tip of his sword. Whenever that happened, a considerable amount of energy spread across the area… it was the power of explosive impact used several times in a quick succession.
At that point in time, the necromancer couldn't help but flinch. Ethan was destroying every single of his strategies way too fast, even though he was much weaker. In a state of panic, he even got up from his throne and almost left the range of his thunder barrier. Still, when he saw some parts of the ceiling melting, the necromancer understood that the battle wasn't over yet.
