Chapter 5989: Visitors
The light coming from the ruins alarmed many, prompting them to visit Radiant Longevity School.
The first guest was a slightly overweight man wearing an expensive robe with golden stitchings and a square crest. Despite looking a bit funny, he possessed a scholarly air.
His smile had a strange charisma and made people unconsciously trust him.
“Master, looks like something great is happening to your sect.” The chubby man said enthusiastically.
“Manager, to what do we owe this pleasure?” Radiant Master had a serious expression since the man was the manager of Splendor Square.
The city of the snwas built by Splendor Monarch. However, the monarch was no longer in Sin so his disciple, Unrivalled Monarch, was in charge.
One of the most important industries in the city was Splendor Square. It had numerous branches all over Sin, especially the three grand dynasties.
Rumor has it even Old World and Heaven had branches as well. They were the largest merchant conglomerate in Three Immortals, perhaps comparable to the ancient Arrogance Enterprise during its prime. In the present, Arrogance Enterprise had fallen and was not competitive.
Therefore, Splendor Monarch was considered the richest man due to all of his properties and stores. One could find anything in Splendor Squares as long as they had enough money.
This visitor was the manager of the branch in Splendor City, Zhen Jian. This was the largest branch in Sin so having this role meant Zhen Jian was a trusted assistant of Unrivalled Monarch.

She felt a chill running down her spine. The visual phenomena had attracted unwanted attention.
“It’s nothing worth mentioning.” She shook her head.
“Master, I cwith sincerity. As you know, I’m always happy to do business with you.” The manager smiled.
She couldn’t deny Splendor Square’s exceptional reputation. They never robbed anyone and always offered a fair price. The scouldn’t be said for other major sects.
“Thank you, but we don’t have anything for sale.” She said.
“Master, let’s take our ttalking this through. If you need anything, you can visit our branch and we will let you have it in advance of any payment.” The manager said.
She thought he was being overly generous since previously, they needed to pawn treasures to borrow money. His target was clearly the ruins.
They had pawned an excavated key to Splendor Square previously. Did the man figure anything out?
Although her sect had fallen, its ruins were still rather interesting. After all, Silver Dragon Mecha was found there.
“I appreciate the offer, Manager.” She bowed and said: “But we have nothing of value outside of the four walls around you.”
“Master, don’t make up your mind so soon.” The manager said patiently.
He was easy to deal with because Splendor Square was a righteous faction. The scouldn’t be said for the next visitors - members of Cloudcrossing Mountain.
Its master brought more disciples with him this time, smashing things and causing trouble.
“What is the meaning of this, Cloudcrossing Mountain Lord?!” She raised her voice.
“Radiant Master, you broke the pact so if you don’t amend our losses, we will not let it go.” He responded.
However, she had paid off the debt already thanks to the ancient dragon crystal. Justice was on her side but unfortunately, her sect didn’t have enough martial might to deal with the unruly intruders.
“What do you want?” She said.
“It’s simple, if you can’t pay up, then pawn your ruins to us.” The mountain lord said.
“Nonsense.” She immediately refused.
“If that’s the case, don’t blus for not taking our relationship into consideration.” The mountain lord snorted.
“Since when is Cloudcrossing Mountain so crafty? You barbarians only see money, why bother with anything else?” Edge Mountain Crone had enough of this.

His sect grew stronger but he still feared this ancestor.
“The audacity, let’s see if you can back it up.” She was surprised to hear him call her title directly.
She raised her hand for a suppressive move. The mountain lord roared and blocked it with both arms.
“Bam!” He staggered backward, clearly weaker.
“That’s all you have?” She glared at him.
“Young Lord, I leave it to you.” The mountain lord said.
“Pop!” Someone suddenly appeared before the group.
Everyone felt a wave of pressure. Both the old woman and Radiant Master took several steps backward.
“Young Lord Ouyang.” Chen Jian frowned after seeing him.
The newcomer was a handsyouth wearing a golden robe. Mighty waves of energy emanated from him.
“The Ouyang.” Mountain Edge Crone’s expression soured.
This was a major clan of Enigma, strong enough to contend against Ancient Step. Radiant Longevity and Resting Bull were nothing in comparison.
Why was such an influential figure here in their sect?
