he’s been quite kind to me.”
Gavin turned to glance at her. “Why would you think Mr. James would fire you?”
Emily pressed her lips and didn’t say anything.
Gavin spoke with a significant undertone, “We’ve encountered issues that were ten times more serious than this,
and Mr. James has always remained composed. He only loses his composure when it comes to you”
