Terrence took one last look around the grand Macclain Mansion, a mix of excitement and nostalgia in his eyes.

“I've lived in this old house for so many years, it’s hard to leave!” Elizabeth comforted him, “Life in B City will be even better!” Nodding, Terrence rubbed his hands together with enthusiasm. “Moving to B City was my father’s dream, and now I've finally made it happen. I've kept the family legacy alive.” Simone was over the moon, not forgetting to remind Terrence, “Dad, remember what you promised!” Natalia, glanced around with a cunning smile. “What have you and dad been conspiring about, Simone? We're all in this together now, might as well fill us in.” Simone chuckled nervously, “It’s nothing major, just hoping Dad could find a little position for Carmella in the family business once we settle in B City.” “Always looking out for Carmella, aren’t you!” Simone held Carmella’s hand tightly. “Of course, who else will cherish my daughter if not me?” Carmella smiled gently, “Mom, | want to continue my stuwork in B City!” She had a strong online following, and the plagiarism scandal had long been forgotten. She was ready to restart her career! “No problem at all!” Simone beamed. “Whatever you want, Grandpa will make it happen. You're the hero who helped him fulfill his dream!” Natalia exchanged a knowing look with her husband, a mysterious smile playing on their lips. Noticing this, Simone felt uneasy and turned the conversation, “What about Sabina’s job? Is she leaving it behind? That would be a pity!” “I won't resign!” Sabina spoke calmly. “I'll stay with the Lamont Group.” “Oh?” Simone was surprised. “You'll be parting ways with your parents then?” Natalia’s smile was serene. “Sabina has worked hard at the Lamont Group for years, and Mr. Lamont values her greatly. It would be a shfor her to quit. We can visit her often.” “That's good!” Simone agreed. Bennett glanced at Sabina with concern. “I just hope our family’s affairs won't cause Mr.
Lamont to hold a grudge against Sabina.” Sabina’s eyes were dark but her chin was lifted confidently. “Don’t worry. Mr. Lamont is fair and values my work. He won't fireover your daughter!” She was sure that Estelle’s involvement with Jonathan was all due to Estelle’s own manipulations, and after this debacle, Jonathan would certainly see Estelle for who Estelle really was. What did Estelle have, after all, besides her looks? There were plenty of beautiful girls out there! A rational man like Jonathan wouldn't dismiss her for someone with a tarnished reputation. Sabina was confident! The words “your daughter” stung Bennett a bit, leaving him with a look of embarrassment and concern. Could Jonathan really let go of Estelle? Thankfully, they were moving to B City the next day. By the tJonathan returned, it might be too late for any vindictive acts. Suddenly, the television erupted with shouts for KING to cout of hiding and face the public. One person led the commotion, and soon the whole airport was in an uproar. Security tried to maintain order, but the crowd was too large, and their efforts only added to the chaos. Terrence, struck by a thought, asked Elizabeth, “Is Hans’s family coming?” Elizabeth replied indifferently, “I doubt it.” Ever since the confrontation with Estelle, Hans’s family had been at odds with them. Terrence had called the whole Macclain family to the mansion, but Hans’s family was conspicuously absent. Simone scoffed, “So, they're not moving to B City either?” Terrence’s voice was firm. “Let them be. We can’t let them destroy the Macclain family’s foundation!”
