staying this time? So I can make arrangements.”

Agnes laughed, “Ms. Laura, I actually came to the Capital for something personal, I’ll be here for about a couple of

weeks. It’d be great if you could put me up. I’m not familiar with the Capital. I have this bad habit, I can’t sleep in

hotels.”

Laura laughed, “You’ve always been picky about where you sleep, of course you wouldn’t like the soft beds in the

hotels. Don’t you worry, when we get

home I’ll have the butler prepare a hard wooden bed for you.”

“You know me so well.”

Agnes joined Laura and Beatrice in the car and returned to the Thomas family’s peninsula villa.

The Thomas family’s villa is quite famous in the Capital.

As the name suggests, the villa is built on a huge island in the middle of a lake, surrounded by water on three sides.

The crystal–clear lake gives a stunning sea view. The villa consists of a 25,000–square–foot house in European

palace style, it looks like a palace from afar, as well as a rustic cabin, a wine cellar with 3,000 bottles of wine,

several stables, a large garden, a lily flower path, and a vegetable and fruit garden.

The car stopped smoothly in front of the “palace.” Two black–clad bodyguards were standing at the door.

The Thomas family is filthy rich, every corner is covered in gold and extremely luxurious, even the walls are said to

be cast from extra–thick granite, just the stone alone cost tens of millions.

After the car stopped, Laura turned to Agnes in the back seat, “Agnes, the Thomas family is not like other families.
