131. A princess which she wasn’t
A FEW HOURS BEFORE THE PARTY
"I just don't understand, why do I have to take a shower for a party when I already showered once?!" Athena said after
coming out of the shower room with a look of irritation plastered on her face.
She was already irritated because of many reasons. Starting from, she was sent to the city, among the humans to get
ready. Ace was staying with Dominic. Dominic was too busy to talk to her the whole day and last but not the least,
Suzanne didn't accompany her today. She was acting too cold toward her suddenly and she didn't know why.
"You are asking me that?! I don't understand what am I even doing here. I don't like to be around humans much. I can
prepare myself just as well." Patricia said with a sigh as they both settled on the comfortable chairs, placed in front of the
big mirrors.
After they were done with the work for the party tonight, they both came out of the pack house to see a car was already
parked outside the building, waiting for them to pick up on Dominic's order. And the host for their ride was none other
than Justin.
Of course, because he was the head warrior of the pack and he was going to ensure their safety.
They were driven to the biggest fashion house in New York and were guided straight away into a room where they met
four different women who smiled at Athena as Athena was their main target. Athena was never the one to worry about
make-up and all. She hardly cares about her look. She was a natural beauty who had flawless beauty without even
putting any effort from her side. A true blessing of the moon goddess. Athena just gave them a nervous smile in return.
"Miss Athena, Miss Patricia, this is Edna," The Host of the parlour said, gesturing to a lady that looked to be in her early
thirties. She was a tall woman with blonde hair that came to her shoulders.
They both nodded their heads and the host further proceeded to acquaint them with these unknown people. "Over here
we have Helen and next to Helen we have Vicky. And this is Lara- they will do your hair and makeup. They usually do
make-up of famous film stars, so now you knowhow good they're at their work. You can totally trust yourselves with
them." The host introduced the girls to the professional fashion experts. They were all humans and unaware that they
were standing in front of vicious wolves.

Though they are not going to harm those humans...
Vicky gave a pleased smile in return, appreciating the compliment. "Helen and Edna will take over Ma'am Athena while
Lara and I will do Miss Patricia's." Vicky said.
Lara, the makeup artist, started to apply foundation on Athena's face, followed by concealer. "Lara, I don't want a heavy
look, go light on me," Athena requested in a polite tone with her charming smile and Lara nodded at her, while returning
the smile.
"Any reason why you want it light even though everything is going to look super beautiful on you?" Lara asked while
doing her magic on Athena.
"I usually don't like makeup but I still put it on sometimes. But I never put on too much because my skin is sensitive to it."
Athena replied and Lara just nodded at her in reply.
It was not good for her wolf, she doesn't like the feel of it...
She applied a thick coat of mascara to highlight her eyes along with a thin liner. She also told Lara not to make her eyes bold
and just to keep everything minimum.

All four of them were quite surprised with her requests and humble nature.
"We have met very beautiful women before but you surprised us.." Edna said with a soft smile.
"Surprised you? How?" Patricia asked out of curiosity, eager to know about those celebrities' real attitudes.
"Well, we don't know if that will be appropriate to say or not..." Helen trailed off while giving a look at Athena, afraid that Athena
was going to be the next face of America's fashion world. Athena smiled at her assuringly, reading her thoughts.
"It's okay if you don't want to. We definitely respect your sense of professionalism. Good job." Athena praised the young artist
making her blush.
"Oh, I am definitely sharing it with you now. You have passed the test." Vicky exclaimed in excitement, making Athena and
Patricia chuckle at her.
"Okay, in one word, our experience with them was horrible! They are such spoiled brat and they throw tantrums every passing
second. Every time we work with them, we end up with headaches. They think of themselves as some kind of highness and

never let their feet touch the ground. They are filled with arrogance and too much self-pride. They are very rude too and not
appreciative at all. No one likes them. " Vicky said with a deep frown on her beautiful face.
"Oh, why am I not even surprised!" Patricia said with a roll of her eyes. She always knew those human celebrities are nothing but
arrogant bitches.
"So, we were really curious to find out how you are in nature even after being so beautiful. Like them or more than them or
completely opposite to them." Lara said with a cute little smile.
"And what did you see?" Athena asked with her signature charming smile.
"You are far better than their opposite self. So polite and sweet and down to earth kind. We really liked you. To be honest, you
are the first humble and kind person with no arrogance to step foot on here. We are very lucky to have you here, with us." Edna
said, making Athena smile brightly at her.
"That's an honour to hear that from you guys. You guys are really sweet. Thank you for having us here." Athena said with a lot of
genuineness.
"Awesome! Both teams are happy to meet with each other. As that's the case we all should thank Alp... Dominic then. As he is
the reason we all could meet." Patricia said while correcting herself at the end moment and four of them agreed happily but
Athena just smiled, didn't say anything.
After a while, Vicky took over Athena's hair.
"Wow, is this your natural hair or did you colour them?" Vicky asked while looking at her through the vanity mirror.
"Everyone says the same but no, I never coloured it. My hair was naturally different. They were reddish brown from the top but
when they ended, they appeared as a deep biondish colour, looking almost golden." Athena said and Vicky nodded at her with a
smile as she played with her hair. The girls curled her hair and pinned a few artificial flowers on it.
Her makeup was done. She was asked to look at the mirror to see if she likes it or not. She looked into the mirror and was really
happy with what she looked like. Satisfied with her look, she gave a thumbs-up to Vicky.
Patricia's makeup was done too, Patricia went with a heavy look. It suited her though, making her look really beautiful. Both of
them were really satisfied with their looks.

After that they were asked to wear her dress. The very beautiful and expensive dress which they bought yesterday. She wore the
dress in the changing room and came out to leave everyone speechless.
Everyone gasped when she came out of the changing room.
"Oh my! Athena, you look stunning." Patricia said with her hands covering her mouth.
Athena smiled at her with a blush on her cheeks. She looked at the makeup artists and they smiled in awe at her. They just
couldn't stop throwing compliments at her every now and then.

After that, Lara applied the maroon lipstick, matching her dress, on her rosy lips which completed the makeup look. She truly felt
like a princess which she wasn’t.
The shoes which she was going to wear were block heels. She was never a fan of high heels, so when she was asked by the
designers, she agreed with wearing block heels. The colour of the heels was also maroon and gold, nowit was Patricia's time to
change.
Patricia came out shortly after and she looked beautiful. Patricia was beautiful herself but looking at her in the burgundy coloured
dress made her look like a fairy.
"Patricia, can you click some pictures of me?" Athena asked while forwarding her phone toward Patricia. Patricia smirked in
delight and happily took the phone in her hand to complete the order.
"That will be my pleasure but may I know who is the lucky man to receive these pictures?" She asked in a teasing tone while
wiggling her eyebrows at Athena. She knew who it was for.
"Patricia! Keep your mouth shut and do as told." Athena playfully scolded her and striked some professional pose for the
camera. Everyone was in awe seeing her sparkling beauty.
A few minutes later Justin came inside the room after knocking twice and was knocked back as soon as his eyes landed on the
two beauties present in the room. He almost lost his balance and took two steps back.
"You are looking like the queen whose order I will abide by." Justin complimented Athena with a breathless look on his face and
his head was raised high in pride.
She understood what he meant and accepted it with a grateful look on her face.

"Thank you, Justin." She said, He nodded at her with a small smile and moved his eyes from her to his mate, Patricia, who stood
there eagerly to have his attention, while fiddling with her fingers. She was shy and nervous. It was the first time she dolled up so
much.
At that moment, Jonah felt like the breath was knocked out of his system as soon as his eyes landed on him. 2
"Whoa! You look... beautiful and mesmerising!" He said in a breathless tone while looking at her with widened eyes. Patricia
didn't knowhow to handle compliments and that's why she blushed hard after getting the compliment, making everyone present
in the room laugh out loud.
"Whoa! Thanks for embarrassing me!" Patricia scoffed at Justin with red cheeks.
"Sorry, love. That wasn't my intention at all." He said with a small roll of his eyes and then looked at make up artists. "Ladies, you
have done a great job with Miss Athena and Miss Patricia. Expect a call of good news from HIM soon." Justin said with a smirk
and a wink, making the four girls squeal like high school girls.
They got two reasons to act like that, one a good news call from HIM, as in Dominic, who was very famous among human girls
around the city, so it was like hitting a jackpot and and getting a wink from a handsome man like, Justin was like some
highschool dreams come true type thing.
Reading their thoughts, Athena and Patricia, both were having a hard time controlling them.
"Thank you very much, Justin!" Vicky said with a gratitude filled smile. He just nodded at her before looking at Athena.
"Lu...Athena, now it's time for us to leave for the party. Are you ready?" He asked with a professional smile.
"Uhh, I am almost ready but can everyone leave me alone for ten minutes? I need to make a really important call." Athena said
with a small smile while looking at everyone present in the room.
The four make-up artists quickly nodded at her and left the room immediately. Patricia gave her a pointed look, confused about
whom she was going to call at this time.
"Okay, Athena. We will leave for the pa... venue in 10 minutes. Please make it first. We don't want to make AL..HIM wait." Justin
said, correcting himself as well, and Athena just simply nodded at him before turning around to take her phone. Justin and
Patricia walked out of the room together.

After making sure she was alone, she pulled out her phone and dialled a number. The phone rang for a few seconds before the
person picked up the call.
"I want to awaken my powers today. I don't have time for training."
