Kara chuckled at her children. After kissing each other on the cheek, she returned to her

feet. While Kara said goodbye to Susan, Frank looked at his children sadly.

“Do you guys want to hug me too?”

Louis’ eyes widened. “You’ve grown up. Are you a spoiled adult?”

Frank’s heart tingled when he heard that. Smiling faintly, he spread his arms. “Everyone

likes to be pampered by the people they love.”

After hesitating, Louis finally accepted the hug. He even gave Frank a pat on the back.

Frank closed his eyes for a moment, soaking in the warmth. “Thank you, Buddy.”

can’t yet sort out what he really needs.”

“But I think he can, and I’m very grateful for his initiative. I should have given all of that to

you a long time ago.”

Frank took Kara’s hand and gave her a kiss. His gray eyes were so calm and cool.

“Besides, there are still many things have to fulfill. Wait until we come back. We will

celebrate the children’s birthdays then complete the list. The beautiful days will come

soon.”

Seeing the man’s sincerity, Kara’s heart warmed. “I’m glad you gave us the opportunity to

have fun with you. But, you have to remember Frank. It’s not luxuries that the twins want

from you. Your presence and affection alone, that’s more than enough.”

Stroking the back of Kara’s hand with his thumb, Frank took a deep breath. His chest was

tight with emotion and hope.

“I really can’t wait to finish this cruise mission. Once your nam cleared, we can start all

over again,” he sighed.

Kara smiled and gave a small nod. She her self felt the same. She couldn’t wait to

establish herself as Frank’s companion.

However, once they reached the port, her enthusiasm turned to tension. The number of

journalists and cameras at the entrance to the ship far exceeded expectations.

“Kara, are you okay?” Frank could feel the hand in his grip freeze.

Kara faked a smile on her pale face. “Yeah, I just need to stick with you, right?”

Pursing her lips, Melissa snorted. Every time Kara’s face crossed her mind, she always felt

disgusted. “Let’s pray she will repent. If not, I’ll feel sorry for the next victim.”

“You’re too kind, Melissa. Why pray for that girl? She deserves

thrown into the sea.”

“Right. Now, let’s forget her. It’s a happy day. And hey, who’s comi
