Chapter 1502
After sending Olivia out, Lily pressed her hand on her chest and let out a long sigh.
After all, she felt bad for the white lie she told earlier.
The most important thing she had to do now was meet Alexander and find out about Edward's situation.
She wanted to be mentally prepared before Olivia knew about it.
As for the order request from Yudonia's royals, she did not understand why they were so persistent about wanting her to create a
perfjust for them.
Although she had gained sfinternationally in the past two years, there were other renowned perfumers as well.
Why must it be her? While massaging her temples, which were hurting, she walked to the study and turned on the computer.
She wanted to make herself a cup of coffee at first, but when her fingers touched the coffee machine, she changed her mind and
got herself a glass of milk instead.
When she returned to the table, the computer was already turned on.
She clicked on her inbox and found many unread emails there.

Few people knew about her personal email address.
For instance, the royals of Yudonia sent emails to her office’s email address when they wanted to request that she custom-make
perfumes for them.
In other words, most emails would be sent to the office’s email address, where Olivia would filter and manage them before
reporting to Lily.
If it was something difficult to deal with, Olivia would then forward those emails to Lily's personal email address.
Lily clicked on the email at the top first, which was the one that Olivia had forwarded to her.
As she sipped on the glass of milk, she glanced through the email, and indeed, as Olivia had mentioned, they were more direct and
forceful in the following emails compared to the first one.
Perhaps they were frustrated and angry after being rejected a few times.
At the end of the email, they once again insisted that Lily take the order.
If she refused to do so, they would need to meet up in person for her to do so.
Plus, the email sender mentioned that he was only carrying out his orders and hoped that Lily understood the difficulties he faced
as someone else's subordinate.
After sthought, Lily still did not understand why she could only reject them in person.
The whole thing just felt off to her.
Soon after, she put down the glass and placed both her hands on the keyboard, her fingers quickly typing away.
Her words showed her respect toward the royals.
She explained that she was not trying to disrespect the royals by refusing to accept their order request, but she could not do so
because she was pregnant now.
If they could wait, they could discuss this again after she gave birth.
By then, she would prioritize this matter.
As for meeting in person, she mentioned that there was no need for that.
However, if they insisted on meeting her, they needed to choose a location in Kingsland for the meetup as it was inconvenient for
her to move around.
Lastly, she hoped that the royals were doing well and expressed her deep apologies once again.
After adding a period to her last sentence, she read the entire thing again to ensure there were no problems before sending it to
Olivia, asking her to reply to the royals with the office’s official email address.

With that, Lily managed to refuse them for the tbeing while leaving sroom for her to make any changes in the future.
She believed they would be unable to wait until she went into labor, as that would take a few more months.
Plus, she would need to take care of her body after that, so they would probably need to wait around a year.
On top of that, custom- making a new perfrequired various experiments, and the first stage would take about one and a half
to two years to be completed.
As royals, who among them would be willing to wait for such a long time? Hence, Lily managed to reject them in another way.
She used almost the sstrategy for the meeting in Kingsland too.
As the royals were from Yudonia, Lily could not travel that far just to meet them.
If they wanted to meet her, they had to cto Kingsland.
This was her place, and she would be better prepared if the other party had any ill intentions toward her.
Also, she clearly rejected them in the email.
They would probably be unwilling to travel to Kingsland just to listen to her rejection again, but in person this time.
After settling all this, she breathed a sigh of relief and stretched her arms and neck.
There were still a few more unread emails in her inbox.
