"Really?" Alexander was doubtful.
"Really!" She nodded affirmatively. Lest he not believe her, she raised her hand again. "Should | swear?"
Seeing that he was just watching her silently, Lily continued, "I swear, if | don't take a good rest when | go home, | will-"
Before she could finish, Alexander immediately interrupted her.
"Don't say it! He scolded fiercely. "Why do you keep swearing? Who taught you to do that?!"
"Are you going to believenow? Can | go home?" Lily put her hand down with a smile.

She knew that he was distressed and reluctant. Although she did not want to swear, he would not compromise if she didn't.
What a joke! Wasn't being hospitalized almost like putting her in jail? She would be bored out of her mind if she stayed in the
hospital with nowhere to go!
These were not the most important parts. There were still a lot of things she had to do outside. She could try not to wear herself
out, but she couldn't ignore it.
How could Alexander not know?
He knew her too well, so he did not feel at ease. That was why he wanted to use hospitalization to force her to rest.
He took a deep look at her, at the slyness in her eyes and the gentle smile on her face.
So what if he knew? He still couldn't refuse her. He had to compromise when faced with her request. He was helpless.
"Okay, but you said it yourself. You must do it. You can't be too hard on yourself. You're not living for yourself now. Other than the
two babies in your belly, we also have Galen, who needs you." This was Alexander's last resort, using the children to push her to
prioritize her health.
Lily nodded. "I know."
When the two left the hospital, Alexander worriedly requested that the doctor prescribe drugs for the safety of the pregnancy,
leaving him a little behind.
Lily waited for him at the hospital gate. In fact, he could have gotten someone to do this, but he was so concerned that he had to
do it himself. Seeing this man running around and doing everything for her made Lily feel extremely lucky.

Although she was once with someone who wasn't the best, Alexander was the perfect man for her.
She just hoped that their wave of difficulties would soon pass and the family could live a safe and happy life.
Supporting her waist with one hand while gently stroking her lower abdomen with another, she turned her head and saw a person
standing before her. The smile on her face almost instantly froze and disappeared.
She subconsciously stepped back before saying flatly, "What a coincidence."
"It's not. | chere to find you," Mike looked at her and said bluntly.
"Find me? Are you trying to drugagain?" Lily said mockingly with a light snort.
