“What's the point of me doing that?” Arianna scoffed and continued, “Don’t worry too much. I'm sure he’ll show up soon.” “Really?” Joseph's eyes lit up. After all these years, he was used to depending on this daughter of his, and he trusted her out of habit.
“Soon, the cops will come for him because of the issue with the perfume. If he’s missing, the cops will also look for him, so don’t worry too much about it. It doesn’t matter whether you report this or if you looked for him. Just wait and see.” Arianna picked up a document and glanced through it calmly.

That was the truth of the situation, but how could Joseph not worry? “Forget it. I'll look for him if you're unwilling to do so!” He turned and left the office, looking much more worn than before. When he exited through the door, Nathaniel came in, and the two almost bumped into each other.
Turning back, Nathaniel asked, “What's with him?” “It's nothing,” Arianna said casually. “Where have you been for the past two days? | don’t think | saw you around.” “Ms. Tanner, | swear to God I'm working my *ss off for you!” Nathaniel grinned, showing no signs of nervousness at all. “There are a lot of things going on recently. | need to work on the lab test results, appease the media, and | even have to look for that perfumer! Just look at how busy | am that I've lost so much weight!” Nathaniel pointed to himself, trying to get credit for all his hard work. Arianna just threw him a glance because she knew he was not serious about most of the things he said. Sighing, she asked, “Have you found the perfumer yet?” “Nope. That dude sure knows how to hide. He left no traces behind at all,” Nathaniel lamented as he clapped his hands.
They started the plan, and after Damian's attention had been directed somewhere else, they prepared to wrap things up and control the fake perfumer. He was someone Nathaniel found through various means. Later, Nathaniel introduced him to someone else, who subsequently did the same until it reached Damian.
Since Damian had just started working in the business world for a short time, he had no experience and knew little about how people in the industry were. He thought he could trust the person his friend recommended, but he probably needed to learn that friendships were also unreliable these days. In the end, everything still came down to the interests of the parties involved.
After being in contact with so many people, no one knew who found this perfumer initially. Hence, Damian could not guess the mastermind behind all of this, even if he were to find the friend who introduced the fake perfumer to him.

It was just that the fake perfumer had disappeared after the chaos broke out. He did not even get his deposit back from his rented place and vanished without a trace. All of his things were cleared and taken away, but they were unsure if he had run away.
If he did, that would be fine too. Nathaniel was most afraid of the fake perfumer failing to run away and becoming a card that was used against him in the end.
Arianna urged, “We must find him no matter what. Even if we can’t get him to come back here, we must know his exact location and make sure that he won't say anything unnecessary to anyone.” “Got it!” Nathaniel nodded, understanding the stakes involved. He turned to look at the open office door and then took two steps forward, approaching Arianna from the other side of the table. He bent down slightly and said, “Ms. Tanner, did that old man pass the things to you? Will your position in the company change soon?” Even if no one dared to peep from the office door, they could see that Nathaniel and Arianna looked intimate from the window. Arianna also realized it, which made her frown and leaned back into her chair. “Move over!” “Hey, I'm just concerned about you... and about my future too!” Nathaniel stood back as he was told but still smiled impertinently.
