I Am A Notorious Hidden Boss In The Alternate World
Chapter 203 - Lord Bahrain!"Master, this is incredible!" Fenriri exclaimed and said, "I can feel my Life Aura becoming purer and more potent!"
On the other hand, Fenrira's eyes flickered.
From the time Albion's revealed his heaven-piercing aura, she knew that the entire Iceborn Wolf Tribe would not stand a chance against this one human and thought that her tribe would have to live under the shadows of humans.
However, the person had shown her time and time again of another possibility—the possibility of co-existence and mutual benefits.
Gradually, Fenrira felt genuine respect for Albion.
'It might not be bad to follow such a leader after all…' Fenrira silently mused before she quickly shook the thought out of her head.
She must be out of her mind.
Meanwhile, Albion was not aware of the wolf-girl's thoughts.
After being disappointed for a moment, he quickly moved on and continued to wholeheartedly cultivate, allowing all three to benefit in the process.
<+1 spiritual energy>
<-1 innate energy>
<+1 Innate energy>
The notification continued to inform Albion in the background.
He fused inner force and vitality to produce new innate energy before transforming them into spiritual energy through the three-person circulation route.
'With the spiritual energy, use it to nourish my hair—ahem, soul. I mean soul,' Albion mused.
The spiritual energy washed over his soul core like cleansing water, purifying his soul with a slight pleasant sensation before it flowed like a river connecting into the sea, joining the rest of the spiritual energy stored in his energy center.
<+0.1 soul strength>
<+0.1 soul strength>
Every hundred points of spiritual energy cleansing produced a minuscule amount of soul improvement, but any amount of improvement was better than none.
'It's alright. I used to play a lot of MMORPGs. I can stand the grind. Nevertheless, this is only because I am in the Innate Realm. Once I reach the first realm of Spirit Transformation, the Spirit Refinement Realm, the rate of improvement will increase in folds,' Albion pondered.
Rumble…
The spaceship suddenly landed with a loud thud.
Albion immediately put a stop to his cultivation and stood up to glance outside the screen before nodded.
"Seems like we have arrived at our destination," he stated.
"Great!"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtFenriri and Fenrira shot to their feet with excitement before Fenrira spat, "We can finally get off this cursed ship!"
"Yeah!" Fenriri chimed.
The wolf-girls glared at the spaceship like it was their mortal enemy.
Albion smiled wryly for a moment before he said solemnly, "Alright, let us get off and check out the situation."
"Right now, we should be parked right in the flat center of Stronghold 01. I believe your tribesmen would be freaking out right this instance."
Ding…
A weak force struck the spaceship's exterior.
However, the defense of Emperor Polemos's private spacecraft was insanely strong as it was made of Phantasmium-transformed Grade-6 Obsidian Iron.
"Speak of the devil."
"Master, are we just going to head out openly like this?" Fenriri questioned with surprise before mentioning, "If a big rebellion already occurred in the Iceborn Wolf Tribe, wouldn't it have been better if we were more discreet to gather information?"
"That's something you do when you are weak," Albion stated calmly.
However, his words immediately caused the younger wolf-girl to lower her head and apologized, "Sorry for being weak, Master."
"Un, you are indeed weak," Albion nodded without mincing his words, causing Fenriri's eyes to dull in low spirit.
Nevertheless, Albion was not finished speaking and shortly added, "However, that only applies when you are alone. You are not alone. You came with me, so we are strong—because I am strong."
"Raise your head and walk out proudly. Whether your tribesmen outside are friends or foe, you do not need to worry about this because I have your back, understood?"
"Yes, Master!"
Albion's overbearing words was like an infectious disease as it instilled paramount confidence into Fenriri.
Even Fenrira was infected with Albion's confidence despite not being the one spoken to directly.
…
Meanwhile, the Iceborn Wolf Tribesmen within Stronghold 01 hollered at each other in their native tongue with panic as they awaited higher commands outside the spaceship.
"Quickly, inform Lord Bahrain! It's an enemy attack!"
"What in the world… Where did this black thing suddenly come?!"
Ding, ding, ding!
Several wolf-people scratched the surface of the spaceship with all their might, but their frozen claws shattered under their own strength.
"This thing is so tough!" A wolf-boy exclaimed.
Many wolf-people were shocked before another added, "Our attacks didn't even put a scratch on it!"
"Even so, we have to keep attacking! Don't give it a chance to fight back! We must maintain the advantage of taking the initiative until Lord Bahrain arrives!" another wolf-person spoke.
"Right!"
Little did they know, not only were their attempts useless, it sounded utterly ridiculous to the human captives who watched from a distance in their Phantasmium-alloyed cages.
"The wolf-people are so stupid. What's the point in attacking a spaceship?" A Level 43 B-ranker made an insulting remark.
"Can't blame them. These barbarians have probably never seen a single spaceship in their life," Another B-ranker commented.
Bang, bang!
A nearby wolf-woman slammed the cage twice with her big fist and roared furiously, "Silence, hairless monkeys! I did not give you permission to speak!"
"What the point of talking to them? We can't understand what these hairless monkeys are saying anyway," a wolf-man spoke beside the wolf-woman.
"Even if we can understand what they say exactly, I can still tell that they are insulting us! If not for Lord Bahram's orders to keep them alive, I would have already cut off their head and used their blood to nourish myself!"
"Tch! What a fierce woman!" the B-ranker clicked his tongue while checking out the wolf-woman's fine curves boldly.
Thud!
The spaceship suddenly dropped its ramp, causing the nearby wolf-people to retreat with alarm and startling expression.
Fenriri and Fenrira walked out side by side while observing their surroundings before Fenrira's gaze fell down on the nearest wolf-person.
"Who is in charge of commands here?" Fenrira questioned.
"P-Princess Rira! P-Princess Riri too!" the wolf-man exclaimed along with everyone else in the immediate vicinity.
Evidently, they were astonished and did not expect the two of the tribe's princesses to come out of an alien flying object.
"Oh?"
Fenrira quickly narrowed her eyes and said with a strong tone, "Dare to recognize but not offer your greeting to this princess? Where does your allegiance lie?"
"This…"
The wolf-people were immediately stunned for words as they hesitated to come up with a proper answer.
However, that slight hesitation was all it took for Fenrira to immediately understand that their loyalty was elsewhere.
"They are my men. Naturally, their allegiance lies with me, Rira," a male's calm voice sounded from a distance.
Fenrira and Fenriri immediately locked their gaze on the approaching group of grown wolf-people under the lead of a younger wolf-man, who exuded a strong domineering aura with faint traces of blood.
Evidently, this person had killed a lot of human hunters to reach his present state.
"Lord Bahrain!"
The surrounding wolf-people quickly greeted with utmost respect as they bowed and even prostrated to their lord.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Arise."
Bahrain gestured to his people before turning back to face the two Iceborn Wolf Princesses with an indifferent gaze.
"I heard the two of you were captured and taken away by the hairless monkeys, but I didn't expect the two of you to return in one of their strange flying objects," Bahrain mentioned.
Shortly after, he immediately barked ruthlessly, "Capture them for interrogation! The princesses may have defected to the enemy's side! However, you may kill them if they resist!"
"Yes, Lord Bahrain!"
While some of the younger wolf-people hesitated to comply, the group of wolf-men behind Bahrain obeyed without question, taking several steps forward towards princesses.
"You dare?!" Fenrira immediately thundered, quickly pulling her little sister behind her before glaring back at them.
"My father is the chief of the Iceborn Wolf Tribe! Are you trying to rebel?!" Fenrira spat gravely.
"Rebel?" Bahrain chuckled softly before he shook his head nonchalantly, "No, no, no. You've got it all wrong. I am just trying to apprehend a potential traitor."
"This is hardly considered a rebellion. If you are not found guilty, we will naturally release you two without any harm," Bahrain stated.
Fenrira paused with hesitation.
However, Fenriri quickly cried, "Sister, Bahrain is lying! He clearly has the heart of the rebel! If we fall into his hands, he can continue to slander us and execute us without trial!"
"Tch! What a smart little lass!" Bahrain clicked his tongue, and he sighed coldly, "If you two had just obediently surrendered, as your cousin, I would have given you both a painless death."
Shortly after, Bahrain grinned and barked, "Kill them both now!"
Bam!
The wolf-men immediately charged forward—when they suddenly slammed into an invisible wall that prevented them from taking a step closer.
Despite having Albion's backing, Fenriri and Fenrira were still startled by the charge before recovering their confident composure once more.
Albion walked out from the spaceship casually before Fenriri and Fenrira turned around and greeted, "Master!"
Bahrain's pupils immediately shrank before he spat, "Pah! I knew it! The two princesses have betrayed the tribe! Kill them all now—!"
"So noisy," Albion frowned.
Swoosh~!
He made a grasping gesture before a rock flew into his hand—only to flicked flying past the wolf-men shortly after.
Puchi!
The rock bullet flew straight through Bahrain's forehead and killed the person on the spot. The person dropped to the ground with a heavy thud shortly after.
"My Lord!"
"Lord Bahrain!
As the wolf-men cried, Fenriri asked Albion curiously, "Master, why did you take so long to come out?"
"Isn't the main character always meant to appear last?" Albion postured with a cool stance before he found it very cringe-worthy shortly after and regretted it.
