"Ugh…" Grisha groaned as she regained consciousness, noticing Compass Carburettor bandaging her hands. Upon seeing that he was fine, she sighed in relief, looking around to see that although the buzzing sound was still heavy, it wasn't directed at them, "What…happened?"
"Let's first patch you up." Compass Carburettor smiled as he gave her a pearl, "Eat this and use your ability to heal yourself."
"But…shouldn't this be valuable?" Grisha said in worry, hesitating since she too understood the power system at place, realising that it would have taken a lot to kill a mutated beast, "I can't waste such a resource. You should save up…"
Without waiting for her to finish speaking, Compass Carburettor pushed the pearl into her mouth, making her swallow it, muttering, "These pearls aren't that important. Besides, we'll be fighting through a lot, so always remaining in an optimal condition is a must."
"Alright," Sighing, Grisha condensed her wand, pointing it at herself as she activated it, watching a blast of energy gush into her body, beginning to heal all her injuries.
She was pretty surprised to see that all the injuries in her palms had vanished, not to mention the pain she felt. Moreover, her complexion turned rosy, as if her blood too had been replenished to a certain extent.
Just as Grisha was feeling surprised at the power she possessed, Compass Carburettor faced Anthozoa at her forehead, shooting once.

"What…?" Grisha was shocked when she clutched her head, sweating buckets as a wave of information poured into her head, overwhelming her for a couple of seconds. She fainted immediately as Compass Carburettor gently covered her with a blanket, placing her on the bed while he began to clean the room with a wet cloth.
Once he obtained the Remembrance System's Core Skill, he realised that it wasn't suitable for him. There were other Skills accompanying the Remembrance System, but since he didn't have any extra space, he had to gloss over them, wasting them.
The same happened to the Directional Misalignment System too. It possessed a healing Skill that Compass Carburettor was unable to get because he attained the limit of his Arms.
Leaving them aside, he wasn't bothered because of the fact that they could only be used once. So, he focused on the ability of Remembrance.
It was a simple ability, one that made people remember everything from their past, never forgetting anything.
If used as a Skill, he would be able to target the individuals, causing them to remember a past that affected them. For him, it was the scene of his family's death. That affected him the most.
Similarly, he would be able to target the weakness—memory—of his opponents using this as a Skill. But, there was a reason he avoided this ability. It was that even if he obtained it as a Skill, he would still be able to remember everything in his life, as if he had a photographic memory.
And, there were plenty of things he did that he wished to forget. So, he didn't wish to gain that ability.
It was a fairly powerful ability but the cons of its usage were too great. So, he directly used it on Grisha. Now, she wouldn't forget any detail that she witnesses. Moreover, he hoped she would be able to remember things even after this particular world resets.
After all, based on what the Coincidental Luck System told him, even though the world reset once every twenty years, there were minor changes every time. So, it meant that the Grade 4 System had arranged it in such a manner for some reason.
He wasn't sure, but he wanted to see if the ability of a System would stay with her even after reset. Similarly, if it works, would she actually remember her past?
'Maybe that's why the healing ability is perfect for her.' Thinking as such, Compass Carburettor gently brushed her hair towards the side, kissing her forehead.
Having cleaned up the room, he went around the house, making some preparations while observing the state of things outside.
It seemed the ants and mosquitoes were still at war. And as he had expected, the ants were winning. After all, the moment they killed a mosquito, they dragged the corpse into the ground, feeding it to the queen that was constantly laying down eggs.
So, this excess in nutrition was only fuelling their growth.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAs for the mosquitoes, they weren't in control like the ants that were commanded by the queen. They moved as they wished. So, they were being pushed back in the war against the coordinated army of ants, despite their aerial advantage.
He arrived at the living room, noticing a couple of mosquitoes flying about. Upon seeing them, Compass Carburettor flashed his gun, shooting one of them using a bullet condensed by Slave Harem. And upon seeing it take effect, he then shot it with a bullet condensed using Secret Society.
Once the connection was established, he bestowed it the Skill of Intelligence and all other eight Skills under his physique section. After all, its loyalty was in the nineties, thanks to the effect of Slave Harem.
"Do you have someone giving you orders?" He asked through telepathy.
"None," The mosquito replied.
"Alright, use your enhanced powers to hunt and grow strong now. Ensure to never fight any humans. Also, don't go beyond a hundred-metre radius from me." Compass Carburettor commanded it.
"I'll do that, Lord Spirit." Saying so, the mosquito flew away.
As for the couple other mosquitoes in his vicinity, they were unable to close in on him, flying into walls when they tried to do so. Like darts, they were stuck there, unable to free themselves.
Smiling in response, Compass Carburettor peeked out of the house, gazing at a fist-sized ant, one that seemed like a regular worker ant, shooting two bullets at it. The first was condensed using Slave Harem while the second was from Secret Society, making the ant a member too.
There was one reason he was trying his best to make some extra members here, despite the risks.
