Chapter 478 System Opposition Scheme
On the surface, the Academy was created to oppose the Systems. But, it was also the place where Origin Beasts geared to fighting the Systems were created.
Of course, he would need to create various Origin Arts for the Double-Faced Monkeys to use in their fight against the Systems. It had to be effective enough to at least cripple the Systems, even if it was impossible to kill them.
Just crippling them was enough.
As long as the Systems were unable to gather any Mental Energy from the Gaider Realm, and in extension, the Cultivation World, they would gradually abandon it.
After all, the Systems had already classified various worlds in a set of ranks depending on the extent of Mental Energy one could gain from there.
Earth was Ranked D while the Darble World was ranked E in that list. Earth had the advantage in Mental Energy gathering thanks to the internet, allowing one to gain a tremendous volume of Mental Energy the moment they became trending.
D-17653!
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThis was Earth's serial code used by the Systems. Since they had labelled the various worlds based on their worth as Mental Energy farms, Compass Carburettor planned to use it against them.
If it became hard to gather Mental Energy in a world, the Systems would at first resist it and fight the world, but over time, they would just abandon it.
It was a capitalistic thought process. After all, there were countless worlds out there that the Systems had yet to tame and convert into a Mental Energy farm.
So, they wouldn't bother wasting time and Mental Energy in a world that didn't generate enough returns.
And, Compass Carburettor planned to make this a reality. Of course, just creating one tiny Academy would do nothing on the grand scale of things.
It wasn't even enough for the Gaider Realm, let alone the entire Cultivation World.
But, the setup he was creating also had other advantages, not to mention that he planned to expand it in the future to encompass other Realms too.
First of all, Mental Energy was a potent energy form that wasn't being harnessed in the Gaider Realm.
So, if he created a setup, that meant he could tap into a vast energy network that was otherwise never tapped into, used exclusively by the Systems.
After absorbing the bodies of Warktor and Chenger, his Blood Vitality Grass had mutated, becoming able to interact with Mental Energy to a certain extent.
And now, Compass Carburettor had used his own body to create a platform for it to take root within. It acted as the medium for all the Mental Energy directed at the Secret Society symbol.
The setup would continue producing Blood Vitality Fruits that were rich in Mental Energy.
The Mutated Blood Vitality Grass began to rapidly grow in strength as Compass Carburettor smiled, sensing its roots turning thicker. After all, what he had created was something similar to a passive refinement, the creation of a living Artifact.
And the most important factor here was Golda's poop.
After all, it had once been modified to consume anything and create Mental Energy. So, he made it shit poop that acted as a catalyst to fuse the Essence Stones, the Mutated Blood Vitality Grass, his compressed body, and the Blood Vitality Grass arrangement into a whole.
It wouldn't be instant but would take time, gradually refining itself more and more over time as Mental Energy would continue to seep into it.
Just to give the process a significant boost, Compass Carburettor summoned his Apocalypse World self, condensing a Mental Energy sphere. The energy consumption for this was his Origin Essence.
He placed the Mental Energy sphere deep within the pit, sensing the Mutated Blood Vitality Grass' roots come into contact with it before boring into it.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmHe placed a bunch of Mental Energy Spheres before closing up the pit, sensing the roots of the Blood Vitality Grass seep through it more and more, encasing the entirety into a whole.
Eventually, their roots would form the container, resulting in the Artifact's completion.
Once he was done with this, Compass Carburettor left the Double-Faced Monkeys to their devices, having already placed all the necessary instructions in their Sleeper Cell seeds.
There was a water source nearby, within the dome itself. As for the food, it would only be the Blood Vitality Fruits, at least until the Mind Attribute became entrenched deep in their Origin Essence.
That way, even if they ate anything else, that would only modify their Mind Attribute. It would be a beneficial growth, giving them variety. No matter what, their Essence would only have the Mind attribute at its core.
Compass Carburettor arrived at the foot of the mountain, summoning his Apocalypse World self, creating a major city, taking a couple of weeks to complete everything. Most of the time was spent on recovering his Origin Essence.
This was despite him summoning multiple versions of his current self, set apart by a minute each in summon time. And all these Cultivation World Compass Carburettors recovered their Origin Essence, summoning their own Apocalypse World versions.
All the original had to bear were the Cultivation World Compass Carburettors. The Apocalypse World versions were borne by them instead as they continued to replenish their Origin Essence constantly.
He had casually summoned an army of himself. It was also the reason he proclaimed before that the Luck based Systems had already lost the war.
He had enough methods to cheat death now and fool his opponents, just like how he had fooled Chenger during their fight from the very beginning.
"J-Just what the heck just happened?" The Green Centipede Clan Leader was flabbergasted, asking in disbelief as he saw multiple versions of Compass Carburettor roaming around in the Academy City, performing various tasks all at the same time.
And similarly, he gazed at the gigantic statue of the Mental Energy Body Layer wearing Compass Carburettor protruding out of the mountainside. It was a kilometre in height, historically the biggest statue in the Gaider Realm.
And as it was created using his Energy Blade, it was terrifyingly tough. This was the grandeur he was going for. A bit over the top, but students from kilometres away would be able to spot the statue which would serve as a major landmark not only geographically, but also in their minds.
