Chapter 484 Genius Development Plan (Part 5)
Cultivation techniques, Origin Arts, Pill recipes, Artifact refinement techniques; Compass Carburettor began to fill them up in four separate libraries.
He planned to add more in the future. But, it wasn't something that could be done in a short period. He wasn't in a hurry though, for he had to raise his cultivation first. Only then would he be able to fight against the System Hosts.
Four months since the establishment of the Academy, Compass Carburettor sent out dozens of Cultivation World Compass Carburettors, accompanied by the Cultivation World Grisha each.
Her original was sleeping beside him, resting her head on his lap.
Typically, he could have just created a copy of her mind in his Mind Frog's stomach for permanent use. But, if that happened, things might become troublesome since it would interfere with the mind of the original.
And that was thanks to the Mental Energy which acted as signals, capable of interfering with each. This was why he only sent the 'experts' to Carburettor Island.
When he was done, he would destroy them and not unleash their memories ever again, or at least until their originals were alive.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtHe couldn't understand exactly where the problem arose. But, he knew a bit that he couldn't use the copied memories on the same level as the original.
Hence, he stored Grisha's mind in the stomach of his Mind Frog once again, summoning multiple versions of her that accompanied each Cultivation World Compass Carburettor, teleporting them to a Clan or Sect each.
Today was the day for the selection of the seeded candidates from each Clan and Sect.
The summoned Grisha arrived at the entrance to the Green Centipede Clan, bringing the summoned Compass Carburettor with her. There was already a group waiting to welcome them, rather enthusiastically in fact.
Since this would be the first generation of the Academy, things would be chaotic as cultivators at the Origin Refinement Stage, Martial Origin Stage, and even mortals might be enrolled in the same year as students.
But after five years, things would become streamlined as Compass Carburettor would only accept mortals that had yet to awaken into the Academy. They would then awaken in the Academy and spend five years there.
Pretty much most, if not all of them would have reached the Martial Origin Stage by graduation, displaying their frightening powers based on their cultivation.
The greater a genius was, the higher his cultivation would be in the Martial Origin Stage upon graduation.
"Please enter, Hazen." The Green Centipede Clan Leader greeted them enthusiastically, acting as if he hadn't tried to make things difficult for them before.
"The pleasure is mine." Compass Carburettor greeted in return as he entered the Green Centipede Clan, arriving at a vacant spot that he had asked for them to prepare beforehand.
The only thing he instructed them before was to build a stadium of sorts here. It seemed the Green Centipede Clan had done a great job despite the time constraints, for the entire stadium seemed like it had been carved out of a hill.
When he asked around about it, he came to know that it was indeed carved out of a hill, surprising him.
"These are everyone from my Clan." The Green Centipede Clan Leader said, pointing at a large crowd that had gathered within the stadium. There were almost a couple thousand cultivators, ranging from the Origin Refinement Stage to the peak of the Martial Origin Stage.
After all, Compass Carburettor had asked everyone that wasn't at the Martial Providence Stage to gather here.
"What about the servants of your Clan? They're bound by loyalty to serve your Clan, right?" Compass Carburettor asked.
"But, they aren't my Clansmen though." The Green Centipede Clan Leader frowned in displeasure, unwilling to treat the servants with respect.
"If there are talents among them, then you can absorb them into your Clan." Compass Carburettor smiled, "It would be a waste otherwise, right? Even if they aren't good enough to join the Academy, you'll still have a good estimate on whether or not you can marry them into your Clan or make guards out of them."
"You make a fair point indeed." The Green Centipede Clan Leader nodded, "Then, let's do it your way."
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmSince Compass Carburettor's suggestion was only beneficial to his Clan, the Green Centipede Clan Leader didn't retort, giving a second thought to the discussion with broader thinking as compared to before. After all, the task at hand correlated to the benefits of his Clan.
"Thank you." Compass Carburettor sighed in relief, arriving before the crowd, "Hello everyone, I'm Hazen, the Academy's creator. Now, I'll be conducting a test to select those among you to fill the seeded slots given to your Clan, which number seventeen."
"Even if you weren't accepted here, that doesn't mean you aren't talented enough. You can still participate in the general admission that happens next month." He spoke, noticing plenty of enthusiastic gazes from the crowd, 'It seems the Academy has been hyped up pretty well.'
He then waved his hand, "Without further ado, let's begin the test."
Core Skill—Reality Marble!
Immediately after, everyone was startled to notice that they had been separated from everyone else, now alone. And before them existed a path, spanning a hundred metres in breadth and a length that seemed to traverse with no end in sight.
The thing that was odd about this path was the fact that it was a hop-splotch of environments, with each only spanning a couple of feet in area. And, they were like a packet of coloured candy, scattered bizarrely.
Desert, snow, rocky pillars, grassland, swamp, normal street, bug-infested area, etc.
There were all sorts of locations through the path as Compass Carburettor's voice resounded through the Reality Marble, "Before you is a path covered with all sorts of environments that would be changing nonstop. Your goal is to travel as far as possible."
"You'll be evaluated based on the distance you've travelled. That's all."
"Begin test!"
