Gahrat hovered in the skies as Mental Energy riled out of her in torrents, seeping into the ground as a Mental Energy construct was created that overlapped reality.
This was a Mental Energy world, undetectable to the naked eye, but it was there. But soon after, Gahrat ran out of Mental Energy due to the ginormous production costs involved.
But in the meantime. Grisha and Gana returned, bringing with them a mountainous pile of Pearls that they had fished out from the desert where Gana's Hornedmen tribe had been located in the previous loop.
Gahrat converted the Pearls into Mental Energy and continued with the process. It took her almost two years to create the entire structure, a world where the Mutated Beasts could live.
And it was a world mirroring the Apocalypse World. Immediately after that, Immortal transported a figure of Rhizen into it as Stencil followed right after.
Lightning sparks revolved around her before turning into strings that began to stitch Rhizen into the Mental Energy world created by Gahrat.
Beast Armoury!
This was the name he had designated for this world where the Mutated Beasts would be living from now on. While Stencil was working on the refining process, Compass Carburettor, Rhizen, and Immortal continued their discussion.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"As for fusing my second self into this world, it's to lay down the Restriction Order. Unlike what happened in the cultivation world, the Restriction Order would become a part of this world, making System abilities useless here." Rhizen said, staring at Compass Carburettor, "And this is where I need your help."
"The Main Character is naturally shielded from the sight of Systems and their senses. I want you to cast the same thing on this world too, or rather make it a part of this world." He continued, "Because, the moment I take action, Grade 2 Systems would land here in droves and destroy everything we've worked hard to date."
The moment he said that, Domino Plottopia appeared beside Compass Carburettor, nodding as she showed that it was possible for her.
Hazen too appeared, snorting in response before snapping his finger to create a gigantic statue of Domino Plottopia.
Placing her hands on the statue, Domino Plottopia infused her power into it as Hazen said, "Just pray to this statue daily. As long as you supply enough Mental Energy to it, this world would be undetectable to the Systems. And, there are a couple of modes of shielding that it can provide you."
Hazen then explained the basics of the various modes that could be activated by their earnest wishes, snorting at the end as he vanished.
"The power of wishes…" Immortal muttered as he stared at Hazen, trailing his gaze to Gahrat in the sky, "The power of creation…"
He then stared at Compass Carburettor, "I'm seeing the Main Character in a whole new light. It's a good thing we supported you from behind the scenes."
"Did you have a role in me becoming the Main Character too?" Compass Carburettor asked, raising an eyebrow.
"No, we didn't." Immortal shook his head, "We only came to know it a few days after you became the Main Character. We just supported to prevent the Systems from descending onto the cultivation world until you revived. Truck-Kun is still leading them everywhere. The Systems are of the thought that the Restriction Order is in his hands."
Beep!
Suddenly, a truck rumbled into existence a few metres beside them, coming to a stop as its headlights flashed.
The lights blinked for a couple more seconds before stopping as a smelly driver exited it, causing the truck to vanish. The smelly driver then yawned as he waved his hand at Immortal, "I'm back. It was fun sending all those chasing me back to the System World. They'll need at least a few dozen years to revive."
"That's great, Truck-Kun." Immortal smiled in response, "Rhizen's plan is coming along nicely."
"Truck-Kun is real?" Stencil said, wide-eyed, arriving from her work.
"How did you know about Truck-Kun?" Compass Carburettor stared in confusion. After all, the last time they were on Earth, Stencil was only eight years old. Of course, she wouldn't have read enough Isekai genre to relate to that meme…
"Those books kept me company while you were working." Stencil said as she flashed before Truck-Kun, extending a pearl slab, "Uncle, I'm your biggest fan. Gimme an autograph!"
"Haha, alright." Truck-Kun smiled jovially, "Who's this sweet child? She's whipped two Systems into shape. I like her."
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm'Back on Earth, I had more than thirty thousand trucks employed under me.' Compass Carburettor thought, feeling jealous when his daughter expressed admiration for someone other than him.
Though, it only showed how lacking a father he had been to her. On Earth, he was labelled as the most successful man to ever exist, a legendary revolutionist that had the potential to completely change the world.
But things like that didn't matter in the end. After all, his own daughter had suffered a lot. Having to live life as a cripple was incomparably hard, irrespective of the wealth under you.
It was because of a rather simple fact: You lacked something every human had—an arm. And Stencil had lost hers in an accident that also claimed the life of her mother and grandfather.
In the end, he let go of his petty jealousy, sighing as he watched Stencil jumping up and down happily while treating the autograph as something precious. She then returned to the task at hand.
"So, you're Compass Carburettor." Truck-Kun smiled, extending his hand for a shake, "You're more impressive than when I last saw you. Continue killing those blasted Systems. I'll be damn happy if you do that."
"I'll try," Compass Carburettor smiled in response, not giving any guarantees. He then noticed Stencil finishing the process with the Beast Armoury, having fused one of Rhizen's bodies into it.
"Heup!" Immortal snapped his fingers as the Beast Armoury lit up in response, turning solid for an instant before vanishing from view. Even for Compass Carburettor, it was impossible to detect it anymore.
Immediately after, every Mutated Beast in the wild vanished, appearing within the Beast Armoury.
Moreover, they gradually began to lose strength, regressing to their states as one-horned Mutated Beasts.
Stencil hurriedly began to fuse the second body of Rhizen into the core of the Apocalypse World as everyone was able to feel a strange presence building up throughout it.
Staring at everything, Immortal muttered, "And with that, the power system of this world has been completed."
