"You're still mocking me!" The God of Rain grunted in rage as she almost caused the sea of lightning to touch Pnolli, but for some reason, she stopped. After all, until now, the opponent showed no signs of resistance.

Through the prayers, she heard her believers' concern, for in their eyes, her act of summoning the sea of lightning was a show of wrath, and hence, they prayed to her in hopes to quell her rage.

With a snap of her finger, the God of Rain retracted the sea of lightning, calming down in a couple of seconds as rain resumed falling in the region. She stared at Pnolli, "Once I became a Deity, I could observe the primordial laws forming the makeup of this vastly expanding world. As my power encompasses the clouds travelling throughout the sky, I could feel this the clearest."

She faced Pnolli, "This world was created using the foundation of six deific entities. And they have all taken up absolute positions in this world."

The God of Rain made eye contact, stating solemnly, "And you, the God of Humanity, is one such being, the core pillar of this world's foundation."

"What exactly do you gain from this? Why have you created this world? Just…"

"I think it's for the best to leave it at that." Pnolli spoke as he placed the teacup and got up, "The tea was delicious. I'll come for a cup another time, if fate permits."

Saying so, he turned around and began to make his way down the mountain. The God of Rain shouted in response, "You're not going to say anything?"

"My clouds have been all over the world. I have noticed drastic actions from three other pillars. It seems like they're preparing to wage a grand war that would engulf the entire world." She continued to shout, "I can help, you know!"

"I'm one of the strongest Deities in this world now. My believers are spread across tens of thousands of villages and dozens of cities and are continuing to increase as more and more people take up agriculture and become expectant of rain for a bountiful harvest." Upon seeing Pnolli's figure almost leaving her view, her shouts became fiercer.

"If a war erupts, you need my power to face the rest! Or, are you planning to abandon this world, you irresponsible fucker?"

Pmolli's figure stopped, almost causing the God of Rain to regret the last statement. But it had been shot already, and hence, there was no use taking it back.

"First of all, this world exhibits the core of my beliefs." Pnolli turned around and let out a gentle smile at her, "The existence of this world is my faith. I won't let any harm come to it."

"B-But," The God of Rain intended to argue when Pnolli waved his hand and walked away.

He vanished from view, descending the steep mountain, "As for that all-engulfing war you're expecting, don't worry."

"It'll never happen."

As he continued to descend the mountain, Pnolli muttered with a bone-chilling tone, "Everything will conclude before a war can truly erupt."

Kiek!

Kiek! Kiek!

A turtle let out its cry as it was lifted by a certain individual, one that terrified it for some reason. Its face confronted him at eye level as it shrunk its neck within its shell.

"Don't be scared so much, will you?" The individual spoke with a clear, cajoling voice, gently rubbing its forehead as he asked, "How goes the lives of your fellow turtles? Are you leading a comfortable life?"

"Is your family well?" The individual asked, answering himself with a casual hiss when it bit his finger, "Judging based on your reaction, it's not going well, huh?"

"Humans have been hunting in the area where you turtles lay eggs? Now, that's not good, is it?" He spoke, watching the turtle let out whimpering cries, expressing its sadness.

"I see, their hunting has impacted your ecosystem, forcing you to migrate to more dangerous waters. It endangered the lives of most of you, huh?" He muttered before saying his take on the matter, "Well, the fault is all yours, though."

"Who asked you to be weak?'

Kiek! Kieek!

The turtle cried in protest as the individual raised an eyebrow, "What, nature hasn't been kind to you? How strange, aren't you blessed with tough shells on your back to protect you? Even most predators struggle to get through that…"

"What? The human tools can easily go past that? Eeeeh?" The individual let out an exaggerated scream before patting it on the back gently, "I have a solution, what do you say?"

Kiek!

"You only need to become a Deity." The individual spoke, watching the turtle stare at him like he were a retard. Offended, he huffed, "You know, I'm something of an enigma myself."

"You're by far the wisest among your turtle race and have served as their leader for close to a century. So, you're the perfect fit to become their Deity."

The turtles came on the shore in large droves, all kneeling before the individual who smiled at the turtle that had accepted his offer.

With a wave, he clenched his hand in the air, seeming to have gathered something as he placed it on the head of the turtle—that he was holding.

"More!" He shouted while staring at the group of turtles, "Wish for your safety more! For a better life! For your young ones, for your unhatched eggs, for yourselves! Hope for a better life!"

He raised his hand to the limit and clenched it into a fist, seemingly gathering something from the air that he pressed on the head of the turtle. Slowly, he repeated the process while urging the turtles through words, and by the three hundredth attempt, a mysterious glow erupted from the turtle that instantly grew in size before taking on a humanoid form.

It stared at the individual and prostrated, "Thank you for allowing me to become a Deity. I will protect my race and serve you well…"

"God-King!"

"Good, good, good." The individual nodded chirpily as he patted the humanoid turtle's shoulder, "Your upcoming task is to forge a region in the sea that will be marked as your territory. No one will dare enter your home and endanger your people after that."

"As you will!" The humanoid turtle bowed in response and entered the sea alongside the turtles that prayed toward it.

Once all turtles had vanished from the shore, the individual let out a yawn, "Damn, that was more exhausting than I had thought. Turtles are one of the wisest races but their faith is almost negligible."

"But you still succeeded." A voice resounded from behind as a divine peacock landed, displaying its majestic crown of feathers. Following it, divine beasts landed one after another, saying in unison, "It was only thanks to you that we became Deities."

"You're the true creator of this world, the one and only Ruler of Deities,"

"The God King!"
