Zack said, “You’re a guest. Go chill in the living room, snack on some fruits and treats, and walch some TV. No need
to help out.”
Nash responded, “After I marry Abby, you’ll be family. We’re all in this together, why are you being so formal?”
Zack said, “I’m not being formal, just that we only need to prepare food for five people. We’ve got everything
ready. Cold dishes are all set, hot dishes are almost done. We just have a few more dishes to stir–fry. Everything is
already prepared, and we just need to throw it in the wok. If you really want to lend a hand, make sure to arrive at
ten as agreed. Don’t drag it until eleven.”

Abigail said, “Hold your horses, you’ll see her at dinner. And you can’t call her Nelly, that’s a nickname only Zack
and I can use.”
Nash said, “Alright, I’ll take your word for it.”
Abigail grabbed a handful of peanuts, munching while staring at Cornelia’s door, “Ugh, Cornelia, are you pulling my
leg, is Marcus not cutting it? If he’s not up to par, why did he pull you into the room during the day?”
Just as Abigail started to feel duped, Cornelia’s door swung open, and out came the towering figure of Marcus. He
then shut the door behind him.
Abigail glanced at the time. It had only been five minutes since Marcus pulled Cornelia into the room. Five minutes!
How on earth was Cornelia going to cope with this?
Nash tugged at Abigail’s clothes, “Abby, aren’t you going to introduce us? Is this Cornelia’s husband?”
Abigail snapped out of her thoughts and quickly stood up, “This is…oh, Mr. Artis, this is my boyfriend Nash. Nash,
this is Cornelia’s husband, Jeremy Artis.”
Nash reached out his hand, “Mr. Artis, nice to meet you!”
Marcus also extended his hand politely, “Nice to meet you too!”
After greeting. Marcus headed to the kitchen. He had a special dish for Cornelia that wasn’t finished yet.
