you have issues, go see a doctor. Don't take it out on Leah. You're not worthy!"
"Ken," Callum scolded gently as he frowned, "Watch your words. Don't jump to conclusions before understanding
the whole situation."
"Are you taking her side, Dad? Did she drug you or something?" Kenneth could not believe it. His father, who had
always doted on his sister, seemed to have changed.
"Chloe has always been a gentle person. She wouldn't act impulsively unless provoked."
Noah had been drinking quite a bit. He appeared a little tipsy and his eyes had a tinge of redness around them.
He looked harmless, but the coldness in his eyes sent shivers down one's spine.
Pausing for a moment, he softened his tone and said to Chloe, "Leave this to me. Go on upstairs."

"Listen to Noah, Chloe,” Desmond urged. Through his eyes, he implied that she should not act recklessly.
Chloe hesitated for a moment but finally nodded. "Okay." They were doing this for her own good, and she trusted

"I saw your medical report that states you're having sswelling," replied Joseph. He stared at her with his
deep eyes, a mischievous smile playing on his lips.
