Leveling Endlessly with the Strongest System
Chapter 64: Roar of the Sword Is heard Once again?!The Fur of the Lunar Wolf was very valuable.
Don't look at the fact that it was obtained from a level 10 boss monster.
That was hardly important.
What made it valuable was the fact that it was the only piece in existence.
Such a thing wasn't seen before in history and might never appear in the future.
Master Gray wanted to get his hands on it at any cost.
Whether he would refuse to honor his deal with Roy after that was merely a matter of reputation.
And… in front of this piece that could help him gain the favor of a duke, what was his reputation?
"No!" Roy coldly declined him.
"… Even one-fifth of this fur would do." Master Gray's attitude had changed completely, and he was treating Roy with respect now, but sadly, it was already too late.
He had gone too far. Their relation was already too strained to be wrung back to normal.
"Hahahaha!" Roy laughed, holding nothing back.
After his laughter died out, he glanced at Master Gray with utter disdain.

Roy spat at the ground like a rude thug, shocking everyone with his words.
"Wake up to reality. There are hundreds of people that can replace the job you do. Why would I trust an old fox like you?"
Roy was right on the mark as no one doubted that the grays were scums.
One day, Carl got drunk in a bar and bumped into a person and demanded him to apologize, but the man was not willing as he wasn't in the wrong, so Carl got into an argument with the man, which turned into a deadly scuffle.
He didn't hold back his strength as a level 10 trainee and killed the person with a few kicks and punches to the head.
He should be rotting in jail, but Master Gray protected him, bribing the officials and burying the matter.
After all, the lives of poor people didn't compare to the toe of his son.
What were they worth?
Such a man that had a fair and plump face but a black heart wasn't worthy of Roy's trust.
Leaving the precious raw materials with him would become Roy's greatest regret.
A sense of absurdity filled the waiters and Gray's hearts as they could've never expected that one day, they would be looked down upon by a stranger.
"I came here to get these fine materials made into costumes, but I was met with trouble, refusal, closed eyes and ears at every turn. I can't help feeling dissatisfied with your attitude towards a valuable customer. I am leaving this place in disappointment. Don't expect a good review from me."
With that said, Roy kicked Carl into Master Gray's embrace before turning around and making his way to the exit.
There was no need to waste his time here anymore.
A shit hole like this didn't deserve to host his esteemed self.
"Who said you could leave?"
Just as Roy was planning to sway his way out, the overbearing shout of Master Gray reached his ears.
Then… he sensed a great energy fluctuation.
Turning around, he caught the sight of Master Gray's palm glowing gold, and his eyes narrowed. Previously, they had shown various kinds of emotions. But now, they were showing utter indifference and anger.
"This isn't a place where you can come and go as you please. You harmed my son, so receive your punishment!"
After saying this, Master Gray pushed out his palm.
"Careful!" Old Blake frowned. He didn't think Master Gray would attack a junior out of the blue. Bernice's expression was so better. This dog slave was overstepping his boundary and dragging her name to the mud.
Old Blake was far from them but could still block the attack for Roy, but he was stopped by Bernice.
She shook her head at him, warning him not to interfere.
Old Blake halted immediately.
She called him grandpa, but he was just a knight serving her family, and he was absolutely loyal to her.
He did as told, thus, and stopped, looking at the palm closing in on Roy.

A great hand, the size of five meters, manifested in the air and charged toward Roy at a great speed.
He was quick to react, and Reflection swung downwards: one-third of Aura in his inner world gathered at the tip of his sword in an instant and charged out, unleashing a mighty roar.
A great light of condensed sharpness bursting out of Roy's sword was all that could be seen before the attacks of the two parties met.
"Boom!"
The very next instant, a resounding reverberation echoed out, deafening everyone as a great aura shockwave burst out from the point of impact. It not only lifted and shattered the golden monkey statues that weighed dozens of tons but also overturned the floor, destroying most of it and cracking whatever survived.
The great wind that bursts out from the point of impact smashed away the tables and chairs, and even some people weren't spared.
They were too close and got swept away.
"H-how…"
Master Gray witnessed the worst nightmare of his life.
The blinding ray of sword light sliced open the unstoppable golden hand and advanced forward at an impeccable speed.
Then… his eyes widened to the size of saucers.
The two halves of the hand hadn't dropped to the sides when it reached inches away from its targets, giving him no time to properly defend against it.
At most, he could only turn his back to it so that Carl, who was in his hands and breathing shallowly, wouldn't face any mortal danger.
"Psh!" "Psh!" "Bam!"
The Roar of the Sword cut open hideous wounds on his back and plastered his sorry ass into a wall.
