Chapter 323 Faron chuckled. "It's a very misleading scene to walk into." "Exactly, Miss Yves. Did you consent to this? If you didn't, I can get the authorities involved in this," Elsa said seriously.

Wilbur's expression darkened. "Still going, I see." Faye covered her body with Faron's shirt and blushed. "Cut it out, you guys. I'm going to take a shower." She got up and fled at top speed.

Elsa snorted. "Yeah, she definitely could use a shower." "Not bad, dude! You must be spent, man," Faron piped up.

Wilbur glared at the both of them. "1 was using the Marrow Cleansing Pill to channel spirit energy into Faye, What are you two trying to imply?" "Oh, it's nothing. We just thought we'd come to see you since we haven'tin a few days. We didn't expect to walk into something so... intense," Elsa giggled.

Wilbur's expression was ashen. "Do you need anything? Get lost if you don't." "Nope, nothing needed! We'll be on our way to work, then." Faron turned to leave, whistling playfully.

Elsa smiled smugly, casting one more glance at Wilbur before running away as well.

Wilbur shook his head. It was truly a

shame these two were not actors.

"Remember to knock next time!" he shouted. There was no response.

Wilbur sighed, returning to his bedroom and entering his demiplane.

The jade statue, clay jar, and the witch's cane were on the ground.

Wilbur picked up the jade statue and inspected it closely. It was indeed an antique, the imprints of time evident on the carvings.

Antiques like the jade statue had been absorbing the energy of the heavens and the earth for ages, making it a storage tank of some amount of energy. It was definitely a good contribution.

The clay jar was another antique

Moose had gotten from somewhere.

There was some scripture on it, and it had been turned into a spirit weapon under Moose's cultivation and could still be considered a contribution.

The cane, however, was in a whole new league of its own.

It looked to be forged out of thousand - year-old wood and covered densely in tiny spells. Aside from that, it was certain that there was a large amount of spirit energy in there from the decades Darlene had cultivated with it.

Wilbur chuckled to himself, throwing all three items into the Dragon's Altar.

Despite all of them being pretty neat treasures, they were nothing in comparison to what the Dragon's Altar

| could offer.

An ancient aura radiated over at once as the flame of the altar lit up. All three contributions were turned into grace points, showing up in the golden hourglass.

Two hundred and sixty points.

Three contributions had only gotten Wilbur a measly two hundred and sixty grace points.

The screen lit up, showing Wilbur his options.

Everything displayed was unimaginably precious, from treasures to powers that made it hard for Wilbur to choose. Most tempting of all of them, however, was always the first option.

This time, it was a power called the

Emperor's Whisper.

The power was something like a ) booster that could be added to any weapon. It would last for three minutes, and the weapon would be able to heavily wound the opponent.

With a power like that, Wilbur would be able to combine it with his thunder cleaver and his combat skills to grow even stronger in battle.

However, it was not what Wilbur needed the most. He held back the urge to trade for power, continuing to browse his options.

At last, he found something called a Builder Pill.

It was a pill even more powerful than the Strongwill Pill that could contribute to the improvement in one's

strength.

What Wilbur needed the most was pills like that. He was constantly looking to make himself stronger so that he would not be overcome by the power of the Dragon's Chant.

He took a closer look. One Builder Pill costs two hundred and fifty grace points.

Wilbur sighed but still pressed the button to trade in the end.
