Flying through the air with the help of Luna's unique Relic, Raven watched as the two of them approached the Forsaken Island slowly but surely.
'From up close, this island is way bigger than I have thought.'
From a distance, the island in Raven's eyes seemed to have the size of a football stadium, yet, now that they were about to land on it he had to realize he was completely wrong.
The isle was at least three times as big as a football stadium if not even bigger!
It was just simply enormous!
'Though, it seems to be also empty.'
Right, once he landed on the Forsaken Island what Raven saw before him except for a few trees and bushes here and there was nothing but almost complete emptiness.
'...Weird. Not even wind seems to be blowing around here.'
As if sensing his confusion, Luna sighed softly and said, "Don't worry, this place is always just like this. Nothing can be found here except for a few Devil's Whispers flying here and there."
Devil's Whispers. Raven was not new to that name as before coming to this place those beasts were the very first things Luna warned him about.
They were 4 Star beasts with the ability to manipulate one's mind to a limited degree, making one believe someone very precious to them was begging for help from the bottom of the emptiness below the floating islands.
Those beasts caused not one person to jump off the islands into the certain death below, hence why their abilities were considered terrifying.
'Let's hope we don't meet with any.' Raven sighed silently and began to explore the Forsaken Island with Luna.
However, even after walking around the island for almost close to an hour, scouring every crook and cranny, they have found nothing.
Not even a small gap on the ground or in the trunk of the trees, possibly leading them to a nest or hiding place deep underground!
However, there really was nothing on the island!
'Though, this feeling of being watched by someone or something makes all my hair stand upright.'
Ever since they stepped foot on the island Raven felt like someone was watching them, as for from where he had no idea at all.
It gave him the creeps and even Luna admitted to him several times that something was off even though she didn't know what it was.
'Maybe this is the reason beasts decide to run away?'
Such a question arose in Raven's mind which he dismissed rather quickly.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtLike, what joke was it? Beasts getting scared just because they felt as if they are being watched? That made no sense at all!
'Then the only way to find out what is happening is...'
Raven halted his steps and summoned his Fortune's Coin.
Upon seeing Raven stopped walking and even summoned his second Artifact Luna halted her steps also and waited with curious eyes.
"This should work," Raven mumbled and after silently activating his Luck Enhancement he flipped the coin which after a second landed on...
The light side, triggering the Blessed Domain just as he wanted!
"Great!"
A satisfied grin appeared on Raven's face and quickly summoned a beautiful dice into his grasp.
----------------
• Current Chances to gain a Relic with the power to reveal enemies that are completely hidden from senses: 1.8023% (Max: 100%)
• Available Luck Energy to manipulate: 194%
• Needed Mystique to activate Luck Enhancement: 36,000 units
----------------
After using 10% Luck Energy to make sure his Fortune's Coin landed on the light side and triggered the Fortune's Blessed Domain, Raven now could freely wish for any Relic which normally he would have failed to wish for because of the lack of Luck Energy and Mystique!
"Well, if this won't help us unearth the truth I fear nothing will." Raven sighed and threw the small dice while also activating his Luck Enhancement for the second time.
However, surprisingly, the moment the dice stopped rolling, the following scene was not the usual spectacle where the dice vanished and another item appeared, but instead something completely different.
"Huh? This..."
Both Raven and Luna stood still and watched as the little stars on the dice lit up with azure blue color before beside the dice the figure of an item could be seen materializing out of thin air!
Whoosh!

----------------
'It worked!'
Raven almost jumped with joy when he saw that his Luck Enhancement really worked while his Artifact's Blue Star Effect was finally triggered on its own for the first time.
A permanent item!
A Relic which from this day onward he can keep with himself and won't vanish the next time he enters a Realm Domain or a Realm Gate!
And what's more, it was a very powerful Relic at that!
"Lantern of Revelation. Interesting." Raven hummed quietly as he picked up and examined the beautiful ancient lantern.
"Let's try it out."
After taking a good look at the Relic, Raven raised his hand holding the golden lantern in his hand and channeled 1,000 Mystique into it.
Luckily, he still had a lot enough Mystique to use the Relic even after using his Luck Enhancement twice already!
Whoosh!
Once the ancient item was fused with Mystique, suddenly the inside of it lit up with a silverish glow and Raven watched as the area around them at least in a 20 meters radius was bathed in that light!
And the very next second...
"What?"
Raven's eyes immidieatly snapped to the side and watched as right next to them, at the base of a large tree, two crimson eyes stared at them from the shadows in silence!
However, although it looked menacing, instead of looking murderous or bloodthirsty the eyes seemed to be... terrified?
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmNo, that was not quite right. It was almost as if it was all of a sudden taken by surprise and now was in a panic, not knowing what it should do.
"I knew it!"
A pleased grin formed on Raven's face as he withdrew his blade, however, just as he was ready to slash at the thing hiding in the tree's shadow, suddenly a young feminine voice stopped him.
"Wait! Stop!"
"What?"
Both Raven and Luna froze when they heard the voice, yet, when they looked around found no one around.
"...Who was that just now?" Luna lowered her voice, only to flinch slightly the next moment.
"I-It was me..."
"Huh?"
Shifting their attention to the crimson eyes in the shadow, both Raven and Luna looked confused, and before they could even mutter a single word, their eyes widened.
Under the disbelieving eyes of the two, the pair of crimson eyes suddenly began to move and two paws appeared from the shadow which was slowly followed by a small body of a beast.
It was a little fox with its fur being completely black except for the end of its tail, which was whiter than snow.
"...Please, let's not fight. I mean no harm, I promise."
"The fox... Can talk?"
Both Raven and Luna became even more dumbfounded when they saw how the fox moved its jaw, speaking their language that they could understand without any problem!
"Of course, I can. And in fact, I have a name also, Astra, so please don't call me fox. That's just rude."
Raven and Luna looked at each other before shifting their attention back at Astra, who currently sat before them, staring at the two of them with her two crimson eyes.
"...I see, so it is Astra." Raven nodded and smiled, however, although he showed kindness he didn't let his guard down.
And it was not because of the reason it talked, meaning it had intelligence on par with a human, but because it made him feel alarmed.
'...So that's how it is.'
Raven tightened his grip around the hilt of his weapon slightly, realizing something he had been neglecting all this time.
Until now, he thought whenever it came to combat, with all of his powers put together, especially with his Primordial Grade Rune Mark, he was invincible.
However, it turned out that he was wrong.
While it was true that he could easily overwhelm anyone above him, as his True Emperor's Will easily pushed his strength above Rank 90, allowing him to crush anyone in an instant, what if the enemy he had to face had a lower Rank but could also skip several Ranks just like him while also holding numerous powerful abilities?
It was needless to say, his life would be in danger.
And it seemed, an enemy just like that was right in front of him, a little fox that even though had a lower Rank than him, possessed enough strength to kill him if he were not careful enough!
