The night was cloaked in darkness, but the city was still alive with chaos. Sirens blared in the distance, adding to the collection of noise.
A conversation was taking place inside a state-of-the-art van that was parked in an alley near Wayne Tower. The van was equipped with high-tech gadgets and sophisticated machines that glowed with an eerie blue light, giving the interior a futuristic feel.
The interior of the room revealed a group of five individuals - three men and two women.
The young man from before with brown hair leaned against one of the leather chairs as he taunted the man with an axe.
"Remember to follow my lead, newbie. I'll kill you myself if you mess up," the man with the axe threatened, his hand gripping the handle of his weapon tightly.
"I want to see you try," the young man sneered back, his eyes flashing with defiance and confidence.
Suddenly, their standoff was interrupted by a stunning woman wearing a black skin-thight suit.
"Stop fooling around, Brandon. And Kyle, you need to show some respect because we are your seniors," Lyka spoke calmly. She was the team leader, and the highest-ranking member of this team, an Upper B Rank Elementalist.
She was stunningly beautiful with her long, fiery red hair cascading down her back in waves, framing her delicate features. Her bright green eyes are filled with intelligence and a fierce determination.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtHer skin was smooth and flawless, with a healthy glow that speaks to her active lifestyle as an Elementalist.
She was nothing short of a formidable force in the New York branch of DSAS. Her unwavering reliability and dedication to the agency were unparalleled, making her one of the most valuable assets on the team.
"Don't act high and mighty. The only woman I respect is the Witch of Manhattan, Denise," Kyle sneered with contempt. He had an air of unpredictability about him that made him both alluring and dangerous.
"You werewolves are a bunch of rascals. I should teach you a lesson about respect," Brandon scoffed as he unsheathed his axe, ready to fight. He has some feelings for Lyka so he got offended in her behalf.
But Lyka quickly intervened, not wanting to escalate the situation further.
"Don't fight right now. We have to finish this mission first." She tried to calm them down, despite her frustration. She hated being compared to Denise, but she knew it would be counterproductive to argue with Kyle.
Werewolves are often characterized as strong-willed and fiercely independent creatures, which makes them particularly difficult to deal with when they become stubborn. Unfortunately, Kyle was a text book problematic werewolf.
"I'm the strongest werewolf so I don' need anyone to tell me what to do " he insisted on arguing with Brandon.
"Strongest? That sleeping guy in the HQ would mop the floor out of you " Brandon replied with a sarcastic remarks.
"That guy is a joke " Kyle sneered. He was convinced that he was the strongest werewolf around, and he refused to believe that some comatose werewolf was taking his place. He used to be an Alpha before he joined the agency so his confidence has some backing.
Lyka let out a frustrated sigh, realizing that reasoning with Kyle was a lost cause. He was so stubbornly convinced of his own superiority that words seemed to bounce off him like bullets off a steel wall.
"Let's just focus on the mission " she said.

The air was filled with the deafening sound of rapid gunfire, as if a thousand drums were being played at once. The sharp bursts of sound echoed off the walls, ricocheting through the air with deadly precision.
Each shot felt like a thunderclap, a reminder of the fierce battle that was being waged. The ground shook beneath their feet, as if the very earth was trembling with fear and anticipation.

"Take down the man with the axe!" One of the terrorists bellowed orders, attempting to deal with Brandon as he charged toward them. Their bullets were useless against his thick skin, and with each swing of his axe, he took down one of their own. His movements were fluid and precise, a lethal butcher that left the terrorists scrambling for a way to take him down.

""I need assistance, fast !!!" Another one shouted over the chaos with a thick Russian accent, as Kyle massacred everyone in sight. He used his sharp claws and razor sharp teeth to devour his enemies.
Finally, the terrorist has no choice but to use a hostage.
The captor held a woman close with a crazed glint in his eye.
"I will end this woman's life if you do not comply with my demands," he threatened with a deadly statement, his voice laced with a menacing tone.
But Kyle did not even flinched.
"Awoooooooooo" He let out a primal howl of anticipation, his brown fur glimmering in the light as his piercing blue eyes locked onto his target. The distinct blue color of his eyes marked him as an Omega, a werewolf who chose to live a solitary life rather than lead a pack. This trait was known to make them particularly stubborn and fiercely independent.
With a fierce growl, he sprang into action. His powerful legs carried him across the room in mere seconds, and he launched himself at the captor with deadly intent. His jaws opened wide, revealing rows of razor-sharp teeth glinting in the dim light of the room. The captor's eyes widened in terror as he saw the werewolf hurtling towards him, and he instinctively tightened his grip on the hostage.
But Kyle's focus was solely on his prey, his eyes blazing with feral intensity.
The hostage was nothing more than an obstacle in his path, an unfortunate casualty of his single-minded pursuit of the enemy. To him, the value of the hostage's life was insignificant compared to the thrill of the hunt and the satisfaction of the kill.
With a swift movement, he twisted his body and brought his powerful jaws down on the captor's neck, severing it from his body with one clean bite.
Unfortunately, the terrorist instinctively pulled the trigger , killing the woman instantly.
