All-encompassing chaos was spreading in the mansion and no matter what they did, there was nothing they could do to get out of this paranormal predicament.
On one side of the house, the bodies of the dead guards were walking stiffly and firing away all that was moving in front of them with the guns in their hands.
On another side, creepy dolls holding knives were giggling and laughing while massacring everything that was moving in the dreadful halls of the mansion.
No matter where one fled, death, chaos, screams, and endless fear abound.
Running was useless. All the doors were locked and even those who were outside from the start seemed to be blocked by a field of who knows what that was obstructing their escape.
Fighting was useless. Even when the targets were destroyed, another one would simply appear and take their places.
Begging was even more useless. No matter what they said, or how much they pleaded for their safety, nothing changed and it only resulted in their inevitable deaths.
There was no way to call for help. No matter how much they screamed, no one could hear them and all the phones and communication devices had been rendered useless from the first electromagnetic blast that had robbed them of the devices.
There was no pity. There was no escape. Men and women alike were killed in the all-encompassing carnage in the most gruesome way possible, whether psychologically or physically. Some were not even left with a complete body.
This was nothing more than pure and absolute annihilation.
And during all this carnage, one man, wearing a black cloak, was floating in the sky and gazing up at the gently illuminating moon.
The swaying smoke coming from the cigarette danced in front of his eyes.
Even though he was the cause of all the massacre that was happening below, he looked completely and utterly detached from everything that was happening beneath him.
The only thing that took his attention was the constant ring of the Karma he was receiving and the faint trembling of his hand.
Clenching his fist, he closed his eyes tightly, and when he finally opened them again after a while, they were now completely devoid of any sort of emotions.
"I think it's time to end this."
He slowly descended until his feet finally touched the ground, ignoring the puddle of blood he had stepped on, he started to walk, slowly, carefully, as if he was in no hurry about what he was about to cause.
The odor of blood and the scream of those who were being killed seemed to be nothing more than an afterthought as he walked leisurely toward his goal.

Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtHiding in his room, Big Eric was trembling like a leaf in midst of a raging storm as he listened to the screams and the cries of his subordinates resonating loudly in the dreadful halls of the mansion.
Surrounding him right now was a makeshift group of top-tier ten unranked hunters and a few bronze-ranked hunters. However, no matter how numerous they were, this did not change the utter horror he was feeling in his mind right now.
"Just what the hell is happening here?"
The hunters did not listen to his despaired mutterings and were simply sharing signals with each other. They were starting to wonder if they should just ditch the target of protection or if they should uphold their duty and fight back against the intruder. But no matter how they looked at it.
It seemed like an utterly hopeless fight to them.
It didn't take long for them to realize that an unsettling and deep silence had befallen the whole mansion all of a sudden.
There were no more sounds of gunshots, no more screams or cries of people, and no more bouts of creepy laughter that abounded the halls of the mansion of slaughter.
Only perfect and absolute silence.
This was why.
Step~
That one step was like the most deafening sound they had ever heard in their lives.
Step~ Step~
Someone was walking toward them in a slow and steady gait— the sounds of those steps mirrored the ever increasing thumping of their hearts and the numbing fear that threatened to swallow them whole.
Finally.
Step~
One last step was heard… The figure had stopped just outside the door.
Someone gulped audibly. Another one gripped the weapon in his hand tightly with nervousness. Most of the others trembled and only the bronze-ranked hunters were showing a semblance of composure among them all.
Knock~ Knock~ Knock~
The gentle taps on the door made them all point their weapons in its direction in unison but…
"I am here."
They all turned around only to widen their eyes as they witnessed someone sitting in the throne-like chair that Eric had been sitting on with their legs crossed and their chins resting on the palm of their hands.
They were unable to distinguish the features of the man. As if his face was completely obscured by a deep and dark shadow.
All they could see was the burning cigarette and those shining but emotionless blue eyes that were looking at them as if they were nothing but corpses.
"Who is Eric?"
As if possessed, they all moved away in tandem, giving the perfect angle for both Eric and the intruder to face each other.
"Fancy meeting you, Big Eric."
Eric gulped slightly before clearing his throat and fighting to calm the trembling of his body.
"Who are… No… What do you want?"
Eric realized that if he was still alive, then that only meant that there was something the assassin sent his way needed from him.
This was perhaps the only way for him to stay alive and he would grasp this chance with all his might even if it was the last thing he could do as this might truly be the last
"You are asking a smarter question. Indeed. What do I want?"
The intruder gave a mocking laugh but they could see from his eyes devoid of any mirths that the figure felt no amusement.
"What I want is simple. Give me the bank account numbers and all your password for one and tell me who you are truly working for."
It was only then that Eric started to realize who had sent the hit on his head and this was all the reason he was in such disbelief.
"Impossible. Yuir would never…"
The Yuri he know was a pushover. A woman who wished for the harmony between the different gangs under her, refused to deal with drugs, and even fought hard to appease the civilians.
Even though she was very powerful, all those made him think that even if she discovered his deals, he would only be slightly punished as long as he begged for forgiveness.
"Please! Let me talk to the boss! I am sure I can explain everything. She would never want such a massacre to continue!"
He stood up, as the light of hope renewed in his eyes, thinking that he was indeed given a second lease at life.
Sadly for him,
"The boss ordered your death."
Adam smirked slightly, watching as the light of hope vanished as swiftly as it appeared.

Eric gritted his teeth, sweat flowing from his forehead.
"If I say everything I know…Will I be spared?"
"What do you think?"
Eric scowled and took out a button. "Bastard! Don't think about having a good time. If I die, you will die with me."
This was his last resort. The only way he could threaten this man. The whole house was filled with explosives. This was his way to destroy everything after normally hiding in his bunker.
"Even a hunter like you wouldn't be able to survive. So let's discuss shall we?"
He expected many things but he did not expect that assassin to simply continue smirking at him before slowly saying.
"Do it."
"You…"
"Are rather…"
He was unable to react as the assassin was suddenly in front of him with a finger above the red button.
"Let me do it for you."
Eric had never felt time move so slowly as he watched with absolute incomprehension as the finger slowly approached the button before fully pushing it in.
BOOM!!!
The result was immediate, the entire mansion was razed and burned to the ground as the large explosion ensued.
But…as the dust and smoke and fire slowly started to subside, Eric only watched in horror as absolutely everything but the room they were in was reduced to dust and debris.
Looking at the young face illuminated by the shadow and those cold eyes looking down at him.
Fear finally took full control of his mind as he realized that what he was facing now was in no way a man.
"You….Are you a devil?"
An eerie and soulless smile floated on the face of that monster in human skin standing in front of him and looking down at him like he was nothing more than a bug that was about to be stepped on.
"I am simply a wandering magician."
(AN: I tried horror. I don't know if I even succeeded in giving a good mood. I was torn between not dragging this out for too long and not being descriptive enough. I think that, while the final result isn't super badass. It's still not bad I think. I would really like your opinion.
Also an announcement for those who are not part of my server. There will be two mass releases in May. Between 3 to 5 chapters for each. Really thanks for your support guys,
