MMORPG : Rebirth Of The Strongest Vampire God-Novel
Chapter 703 The Universal Queen Descends
There was a stupidly wide smile on Max's face as he saw his brother in action once more.
His brother was the absolute boss and it showed in how easily he managed to kill Avans, however, Max could not fanboy all over him and watch his battle unfold in peace as his brother had given him an important task to perform.
Long back, Max had entered the ruins of a forgotten ancient magi society and there he had gained a barrier isolation technique from a god named ' Zogaroth '.
If he was not mistaken, it was this very technique that his brother was referring to when he had asked Max to stop Lucifer from escaping, however, the problem was that Max had never used it before today even once and was not sure if he could do it correctly.
He had all the theoretical knowledge to cast the move and being a god he also had the divine essence needed to make it indestructible, yet, for now it was all but an untested myth and he still needed to change it from a theory into a reality.
[ Divine Concealment ]
As Max began channelling Divine Concealment, his mind wandered to the very essence of the spell itself as he forgot about the world around himself and unilaterally focused on casting the spell.
If he were not completely focused and was instead frollocking on the ground below like Sebastian, he would have started to notice that the very air-space above the dimensional battlefield had begun to crumple.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe sky above their heads had changed from a silky blue to a myriad of dark colours that looked like something straight out of a science fiction film where aliens invaded earth through the sky.
Thankfully Max was not distracted by his surroundings and was focused on his task, as the universal queen was literally manifesting into a physical body for the first time since she was brought into existence to try and neutralise the anomaly named Shakuni The Terrifying.
The spell that Max was trying to cast was not a mere incantation or a set of magical gestures; it was an eternal law, a primordial truth that had been handed down to him by the abyssal mage 'Zogaroth.'
It was the same principle which Lucifer used in his spell ' Black Prison ' but only exponentially stronger.
The spell's indestructibility lay in its foundation which was deeply connected to the very core of existence of the universe.
The controlled universe was an amalgamation of laws. A space where time, gravity, void, darkness and space itself worked within a range of parameters set by the queen.
When one used mana to try and change the inherent nature of a material or give energy a physical form, they altered these range of parameters and affected them very slightly.
When one used divine essence to try and change these parameters, they could produce much exaggerated results and perform much stronger manipulation of the laws, however, even peak tier8 attacks could not transcend the threshold set by the celestials governing the boundaries of the mortal universe.
It was through leveraging the same law that defined the boundary of the universe and stacking it repeatedly in a short space layer by layer, that the distinct pink indestructible boundary was created that was as strong as a tier 10 spell.
Only Max, who had ventured into the ruins of the ancient magi society, knew the secret. He understood that the spell's strength was not in its form or function but in its stacking of the most basic laws over and over again.
His thoughts swirled with the profound realisation that he was not just wielding a powerful tool but channelling an aspect of creation itself. The Divine Concealment was a manifestation of an absolute, a reflection of the cosmic order that could not be broken or undone.
As the caster, Max held a unique perspective. He knew that to attempt to break the spell was to strive against the very fabric of reality. It was as futile as trying to tear apart the space that separated two galaxies or attempt to teleport entire planets across multiple thousand astronomical miles.
The spell rather than being a wall that could be breached; was a fundamental truth that could not be denied.
This understanding filled Max with a serene confidence. He knew that Lucifer, powerful as he was, could not overcome the Divine Concealment. It was not a question of strength or skill; it was a matter of cosmic inevitability. The spell was unbreakable because it was eternal, and Max was its humble vessel, privileged to bring it forth into the world.
In that profound moment, as the barrier settled around a five kilometres radius, trapping his brother, Lucifer and the Savage king within, Max opened his eyes and felt both his hearts drop inside his chest as he gazed at the most ugly yet intimidating creature he had ever seen.
As Max gazed upon the creature, a chill ran down his spine. It was neither fully humanoid nor plant-like but a horrifying blend of both.
With six twisted limbs that sprouted from its misshapen torso at unnatural angles it created a base of support to stand upright, however, by just looking at its feet one could understand that the creature could easily balance on two feet, but had six for unbelievable stability and support.
It did not need to balance its body using any special battle stance, for it, every stance was a battle stance, and it was nearly impossible to knock it off balance.
Its upper body bore a vague resemblance to a human's, but where a head should have been, there was only a writhing mass of eyes and mouths. Two gnarled arms, seemingly made of knotted wood and sinew, reached out from its shoulders, each ending in razor-sharp talons.
It wielded no conventional weapons, but every part of its body seemed designed for violence and destruction.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThe creature's very presence was a weapon, an embodiment of fear and dread that struck at the very core of Max's being.
Its form was a living paradox, an entity that defied categorization, a nightmare made flesh that challenged all that Max thought he knew about the natural world.
The creature's skin was a nightmare of textures. At one point it was like the scales of reptiles; on another like the rough bark of some ancient, sentient tree; elsewhere it was mottled fur sprouting in wild disarray.
Its eyes haunted Max's very soul. Each was a window into a different world, reflecting a wisdom and understanding that went beyond mere mortal comprehension. They held a knowledge, a recognition of every living thing, gleaned from a lifetime of study and observation.
Despite its outward ugliness, Max could not shake the feeling that the creature was a masterpiece of organic design. Every aspect of its being was meticulously crafted, a physical manifestation of a mind that understood life on a level that he could not even begin to fathom.
It moved with a grace that belied its horrific appearance, each motion a dance of predatory elegance. In its presence, Max felt insignificant, reduced to a mere specimen under the scrutiny of an intellect that transcended human understanding.
As he continued to study the creature, Max realised that its true horror lay not in its appearance but in its very nature.
It was a living testament to a mind unbound by ethics or empathy, driven solely by data collected over thousands of years.
It was not merely ugly; it was a monstrous epitome of pure, unfeeling intellect, a reflection of life's dark potential.
He knew, deep in his core, that this creature had no weaknesses. It was a being created without flaw, a creature devoid of soul or compassion, an entity that existed solely to observe, learn, and adapt.
It was a physical manifestation of the universal queen herself.
