820 Ren's Reign Despite the corporations' best efforts and substantial investments, they found themselves consistently falling short, unable to match the other guilds rapid progress in the game.
Slowly but surely, the realization began to dawn on them that their pursuit of Ren was futile. His dominance in Covenant was unassailable, and attempting to challenge him would only lead to further setbacks and humiliation. Reluctantly, they came to terms with the inevitable and made the decision to sign the blood contract, officially acknowledging Ren's supremacy in the game.
With the signing of the blood contract, Black Lion, Sleeping Dragon, Fate Alliance, and the other guilds could do nothing but grit their teeth in frustration and begrudgingly bow down to Ren's dominance. It was a bitter pill to swallow, conceding defeat to someone they had considered an enemy broke their pride.
Ren's meteoric rise to power left them in disbelief. How could someone so seemingly insignificant and unremarkable achieve such monumental success in Covenant? The question gnawed at them, fueling their resentment and envy towards Ren and his seemingly untouchable status.
In the real world, he was surrounded by an ever-growing circle of influential figures, including Gambino, Rutherford, and Axis, who offered him protection and support. Others, eager to curry favor with the rising star of Covenant, eagerly joined his ranks, further solidifying his position of power and influence.
With each passing day, Ren's aura of invincibility grew stronger, and those who had once doubted him now found themselves unable to challenge his authority. 20:30
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtHe had become a force to be reckoned with, his name synonymous with power and success in the world of Covenant. And as the big corporations reluctantly conceded defeat and signed the blood contract, Ren's dominance was cemented, unchallenged and unquestioned.
Meanwhile, Ren and Evie ventured through the vibrant landscapes of the game, they remained blissfully unaware of the chaos brewing beyond their virtual bubble.
"Are you sure you want to let Black Lion and the other guilds who hunted us enter the Netherworld?" Evie inquired, as they journeyed towards Heaven's Gate.
Ren's expression remained calm as he responded, his tone confident. "It's fine. Further denying them access to the Netherworld would only escalate matters, and we gain nothing in return. They have the means to make it extreme for us."
A mischievous smirk then played across his lips. "It's enough that they've signed the blood contract. They won't be able to touch us now, and that fact must be eating at them every day."
A chuckle escaped Ren's lips. "They'll remember this defeat for the rest of their lives."
Evie couldn't help but stifle a laugh as well. "You're evil."
"And yet, you still love this devil?" Ren teased.
Evie nodded, a smile tugging at her lips. "That's right. I love you, and I'll stick by you till the end . . . even if you're the most evil man in the world."
Ren was taken aback by her words, finding them rather extreme. Nonetheless, he was deeply touched. It was rare for Evie to express such endearing sentiments, so he knew she meant every last letter of it.
With a contented sigh, Ren lowered his head, and the two shared a tender kiss, their bond strengthened by their struggles and love.
"Ugh! Get a room, you two!" Desira interjected, her jealousy thinly veiled behind a disgusted expression. She longed for the freedom to kiss Azazel whenever she pleased too, after all.
"Not fair, Ren! If you're going to kiss Evie, then you have to kiss me too!" Elena protested, but Ren simply pushed her aside with his palm when she zoomed toward him.
"What a womanizer," Iraelyn muttered with a grin. "True men should be like that. Not like Avaris who only think about hoarding items like a girl! Grahahaha."

Vivi nodded with a laugh. "I know that demon too!"
The group resumed their journey toward Heaven's Gate, hidden near the northern part of the continent.
According to Azazel, Heaven's Gate was the only means to reach the Heaven Realm. The gate could only be opened by tremendous powers and magic, which he and his warlords possessed.
In truth, Azazel and his warlords were banned from even venturing to the surface world. It was an agreement between the Heaven Realm and the Nether Realm to leave the mortal realm alone and respect each other's worlds and territories.
However, since the Angels were the ones who broke the agreement first, there was no holding back anymore. They would surely retrieve Lorelai, even if it meant war.
This breach of agreement also explained why the Netherworld became accessible to the surface. As demons and devils poured out from the Nether Realm onto the surface world, chaos ensued as all races found themselves grappling with the onslaught of these malevolent beings. Demons and devils rampaged left and right, causing headaches for humans, elves, dwarves, and all other inhabitants of the realm.
Despite the turmoil, players found themselves in high spirits, for the emergence of demons and devils meant new quests and new bosses for them to conquer and obtain first blood. Along the way, they faced fierce battles against monsters, beasts, and other formidable bosses. However, with Azazel and the others by their side, Ren and Evie skimmed through the area with ease, navigating the tumultuous landscape as if it were a mere stroll in the park.
Finally, after days of arduous travel, they reached the imposing gates of Heaven's Gate, their gateway to the Heaven Realm.
Though it wasn't what Ren and Evie had expected, they were met with a sight of awe and wonder. At the end of a towering cliff stood two giant monoliths, silhouetted against the backdrop of the night sky. The aurora danced gracefully, casting its colorful hues across the heavens, while the stars twinkled like diamonds, their brilliance amplified by the absence of any other light source. It was a breathtaking scene, one that seemed to belong to them alone, a secret sanctuary hidden amidst the vast expanse of the universe.
