Chapter 832 The Encounter in Cloudy ForestChapter 832 The Encounter in Cloudy Forest
Evie had her companion, the white blob, which, despite its unassuming appearance and quiet demeanor, proved to be far more useful than it initially seemed.
She will be fine. Ren's heart pounded in his chest as he pressed onward, his senses alert for any signs of danger. The forest seemed to stretch on endlessly, its twisting paths and eerie atmosphere testing his resolve.
But Ren refused to falter. He pushed forward, his eyes fixed on the horizon as he sought out the elusive exit that would lead him to the other side.
Meanwhile, Evie forged ahead, her movements guided by instinct and intuition. Despite the oppressive fog that enveloped her, she remained undeterred.
As an Illusionist, Evie possessed abilities that would allow her dispersed the illusion of the forest, allowing her to navigate through the forest with ease. She knew that the forest's illusions held no power over her, her mind shielded by her own magical abilities.

As she moved through the mist-shrouded forest, Evie remained vigilant, her senses attuned to any signs of danger. Knowing that she was alone, Evie understood the importance of staying one step ahead of the forest's tricks if she hoped to emerge unscathed. While Ren had provided her with life-saving items, she was reluctant to waste them unless absolutely necessary.
With determination burning bright in her heart and a sense of urgency driving her forward, Evie pressed on, her sole focus on reuniting with Ren and the others again. Each step she took was a testament to her resolve as she sought out the path that would lead her out of the forest's labyrinthine depths.
Meanwhile, as Evie and Ren staked their lives to find the exit, Elena seethed with fury at being separated from Ren. Her frustration bubbled to the surface, her every thought consumed by the desire to reunite with him as soon as possible. The aftermath of her anger were piles of bodies on the ground, unfortunate to stumble upon her. On the other hand, Azazel sauntered through the forest at a leisurely pace, his curiosity piqued by the unfamiliar surroundings. He took his time, meandering through the dense foliage, plucking fruits here and there, and dispatching any enemies that dared to cross his path. The other warlords followed suit, each indulging in their own interests amidst the chaos of the forest. Vivi sampled various foods, her eyes lighting up with delight as she discovered new and exotic flavors. Desira engaged in a heated debate with her defeated enemy, adamant in her belief that she was supposed to be alone with Azazel. Meanwhile, Malifira busied herself with foraging, her keen eyes scanning the forest floor for any valuable resources that could aid in her alchemical pursuit. And Iraelyn, ever the warrior, focused on chasing beasts to defeat instead of the other way around. As the group navigated through the treacherous terrain of Cloudy Forest, each member faced their own challenges and obstacles. But despite the dangers that lurked around every corner, their spirits remained unbroken, as they pressed onward.
Though separated by the thick mist and the ever-shifting landscape, they remained connected by a common goal: to find their way out of the forest and get Lorelai back. Meanwhile, as Ren traversed the forest, he stumbled upon something . . . or someone.
There, amidst the swirling mist and the eerie glow of the forest, stood a young girl with pink, thick, long hair tied in a playful bubble at the center. Her big emerald eyes sparkled with confusion, and her cute face was etched with frustration.
The girl was dressed in a casual armor more befitting of a witch than anything else, and she wielded a broom with both hands as she fended off the creatures that surrounded her. Her movements were graceful yet frantic, her every action a desperate attempt to keep the encroaching creatures at bay.
"Get back! I'm a goddess, you know!" she screamed at the creatures, her voice trembling with fear and frustration. As she fought, she muttered to herself, her words a mixture of anger and confusion.
"Darn it! Why is this place so confusing? I'm a goddess of Fortune and Luck, I shouldn't be getting lost in here!" she exclaimed, her tone filled with exasperation.
Ren observed the girl with curiosity as she battled against the creatures, her struggles evident despite her claims of being a goddess. He used his [Appraisal] skill to gauge her strength and was surprised to find that she appeared to be weaker than expected for a Goddess.
But there were minor and major gods, so he wasn't that surprised. She must be one of the minor Gods then. "She's struggling," Ren muttered to himself, his brow furrowing in thought. Despite her divine status, she seemed ill-equipped to handle the dangers of Cloudy Forest.
Deciding that it was best to leave her behind and continue on his way, Ren was about to turn away when the girl suddenly noticed him.
"Hey! Hey you! You!" she called out, her voice desperate and pleading.

He was convinced that the goddess would only bring trouble.
But to his annoyance, the girl persisted, chasing after him with a stubborn determination that Ren found both frustrating and bewildering.
"Hey! Wait! Are you just going to ignore me?!" she shouted, her voice echoing through the mist.
Ren gritted his teeth in irritation, cursing his luck for attracting unwanted attention. He quickened his pace, hoping to lose the girl in the dense foliage.
However, as the creatures closed in on them, led by the Goddess no less, Ren knew that he had no choice but to confront the situation head-on. With a wave of his hand, he unleashed a torrential beam of magical energy, engulfing the creatures in a blinding light.
For a moment, Ren thought that he had successfully disposed of the creatures, including the troublesome goddess. But to his surprise, Pamela stumbled and fell onto the cloud-like ground at the right time, narrowly avoiding the brunt of his attack.
