Chapter 684 Stalemate

John’s smile was very pure, but it sent a chill down Logan’s spine.

Logan narrowed his eyes slightly and said with a faint smile, “Of course. May I know what you want from

me?”

John didn’t answer him immediately but changed the subject. He said, “Before I came here, I met two killers

who wanted to kill me.

“President Rees, I didn’t provoke anyone. Why did they want to kill me?”

“How am I supposed to know? Maybe you accidentally offended someone,” Logan said calmly.

“But they said you command them to prevent me from participating in this underground boxing match.” John slowly

looked at Logan and said.

The smirk at the corner of Logan’s mouth was a little stiff, but he quickly covered it up. He pretended to be

surprised and said, “How come? Don’t tell me you believe their nonsense.”

John said with a gentle smile, “It doesn’t matter if I believe it or not. The important thing is, do you believe it?”

His eyes seemed to be smiling. But in Logan’s eyes, they seemed to burst out with cold murderous intent.

Logan’s face changed, and he shouted, “Mr. Lopez, don’t listen to their nonsense. I didn’t ask them to do

anything!”

John ignored their weird gazes but glanced at Logan. He said with a smile, “President Rees, I helped you win the

boxing match just now, and you want to repay my favor, right?

“Actually, I don’t want to ask for much. How about using your son’s life as a reward?”

Before everyone reacted, John’s face suddenly turned cold after speaking. He stretched out his five fingers like

eagle claws and pinched Pal’s neck precisely. He squeezed and broke Pal’s neck with a crisp crack.

John was so fast that Logan didn’t have time to pull out his gun, and Pal didn’t even have time to dodge. His

neck was just broken by John within several seconds.
