One is a pale grey disc, and the other is a tiny soul core with pure soul energy. It is even smaller than a drop of water, but the soul energy that is contained inside it is huge and also extremly pure, and I couldn't help but drool on it.
This soul crystal is extremly precious to me, not only to me but also to others. There is one Tyrant and three Emperors with a special soul constitution. It would help extremly in advancing their soul constitution, not to mention the price I would get if I decided to sell it.
Though, I would be an idiot to do that unless, of course, I get something equally valuable that I need.
There is no fault in the soul core; I had looked at it carefully through all my abilities. Feeling relieved, I have placed it in my core before turning to the pale grey disc with unknown runes.
There is an extremly complicated formation carved on the disc, and it is not a regular formation but one that formed a single intent rune. If one looks at the formation carefully, all of the runes will merge, and one will see a single ruin that is an intent ruin.
It would take me years to decipher something this complex, but I am sure I will be able to do it and plan to.
This thing contains an immense knowledge that even scratching a small part of it, I will benefit greatly, but before I think about it, I will have to decipher these runes first before deciphering the whole formation.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtI continued looking at these runes for a couple of seconds before I took out the box. The box is the size of my hand and very heavy with dense runes carved on it. I placed the disk inside it carefully before closing the box and storing it inside my storage.
I am not storing it inside my core; despite looking harmless, the disc gives me a dangerous feeling, and I am not putting something like that in my core. So, took out one of the strongest boxes I have before placing it inside the store.
If the disc behaves any strangely, the box will tell me immediately, and I will throw it as far away from me as possible.
I once again began to fly to the north with more questions in mind.
It had become even clearer that these flesh golems were not part of the Grimm's trap; if the Grimms had just a weapon, they would have used it on the battlefield. With these golems, they would have been able to bring immense destruction to our forces.
Still, I do not understand why the hell the Grimms have come in such force; they have at least sent ten Grandmasters here, which is a huge force.
I refuse to believe that Grimms have overlooked the danger or sent the force to deal with us humans, who would come to investigate it. They know, with our numbers, we would not be able to send many Grandmasters here; the two were already our limit.
If it is not for the shocking injuries on the two Grandmasters' bodies, the higher-ups might even let it go.
Our forces are too small to investigate everything; it is even harder when half of the things are traps from the Grimms.
It only leaves one option, and that is Grimms have found something, and it is precious enough for them to sense such a huge force despite the danger this ruin has.
I increased my speed, even though I did not want to be detected by the golem; I needed to find the Grimm as soon as possible and know what they are planning here. Only then will I be able to calm my restless mind.
Hun!
Around ten minutes had passed since I began flying again when I got a message from Nero. He had found a flesh golem, and now, he is shooting toward it to fight it.
I opened my mouth to stop him but closed it, knowing he would listen to me. Nero likes fighting, and he did not get many chances to do that with me always keeping him hidden, and now that he has finally got the opportunity, he will not let it go.
"Be careful," I said finally; I had already informed him and Ashlyn of the dangers of the flesh golem. He will be careful, even though he acts most of the time impulsively.
"Don't worry, father; it will not be able to touch me," said Nero confidently and moved toward the golem at even greater speed.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmIt did not take long for the golem to notice the Nero and, like me, it spent toward Nero and soon appeared close enough that I could sense its level through Nero's powerful senses, which couldn't help but make my expressions serious.
This golem has true mid-Grandmaster power, unlike the one I had fought, which barely had that power.
I once again reminded Nero of all the facts and continued flying.
Ashlyn and I continued moving while Nero began to fight against the golem; both of us did not find any sign of the Grimm Monsters that we were searching for; we did not even find any flesh golems.
Ashlyn is quite looking forward to fighting, especially now that Nero is fighting one.
While I am flying, I am also looking at Nero's battle, and I have to say, the golem he is fighting is quite powerful and equally skilled as the one we have fought. It is also using a weapon that is rarely used in the battle due to the expertise it requires to use it.
A morning star.
Hun!
I was watching the battle with great interest as it was very interesting when suddenly my eyes became alert, but a smile appeared on my face as I finally found the Grimm Monster.
