"It took longer than I had thought," I said as I finally stopped and looked at the large area, covered in broken formations.
I didn't waste any time and resumed my journey again toward my destination.
I have passed through a dangerous area, but I wish, it is only one. No, there are many of them. Some of them are so dangerous that nobody dares to move through them.
Thankfully, I didn't have to cross any of them before reaching my destination.
A few minutes into my journey, I had sensed a native. I would have talked to him and shared the information, but he was quite far away and moving opposite of me.
I looked away and continued with the journey.
A little more than an hour later, I reached my destination. Two and a half miles ahead of me, there was a perfectly square-shaped building, which had a disproportionately large sized bronze door.
It is a place, I want to open first with my key.
There are other places, that were closer and easy to reach, but I had chosen this one. It has the things I need and to be honest, I am excited about it.
I just hope people have left some for me.
Currently, I am hiding in shrubs while the soul waves are released from me. The Beastman had warned me that sometimes, Grimms remain hiding by these places to hunt natives.
There are even reports of native bandits and cultists doing the same.
I would have not believed it, if not for experiencing that myself. So, I don't want to take the risk.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe waves begin to come back and all of them bring back the data.
Four and a half minutes later, I walked out of the shrubs and began to move toward the square building. There was no one in my close vicinity, but that didn't make me remove my stealth method.
It is still covering me, and I am moving at speed, which gives me a balanced stealth.
Soon, I reached the huge bronze door; there were no words on it, but there was a diagram that anyone would be able to recognize.
It gave a hint of what was inside.
Click!
I only glanced at it, before I inserted the white key and gave it. Immediately, I heard the satisfying clicking sound.
I placed both of my hands on the side of the door before pushing it. The door opened smoothly and entered inside.
"Wow, the information wasn't a lie; they had even underestimated it," I said as I looked around a vast hall, that contained things that would make anyone below the Prime salivate.
Hun!
I was looking at it, when a scroll of energy appeared in front of me. I only glanced at it, before moving ahead.
It was rules stating that I could only stay here for thirty minutes only and could take on one thing and only one unit of that, which I think is the cruelest thing they have done here.
In front of me thousands of things, placed in stacks or piles. Some even have shelves, seeing the kind of metal it is.
In front of every metal, there is a name and short information about it.
In this place, a recording is not allowed, but I am recording everything, through my eyes and inside my core. My clone is looking through the things, deciding what would best thing for me.
There are over thousands of them, and I want a few hundred, but I could only take one and even in it, a single unit.
I moved around, looking at these beautiful things.
A few years ago, I wouldn't have had so much interest in metals. While I had knowledge of artifice and could forge a few things; I wouldn't have such a strong desire as I am right now.
After the impartation and all the practice, I did and the things I created, I have become very invested in it, especially when I saw the uses of it.
Now, I would use every chance, I have to collect every useful metal or thing, I need for the artifice.
A little more than two minutes later, I stopped and turned to the right before stopping again.
In front of me, is a pile of round clay pots. Inside the pots is a greenish liquid with a metallic shin.
It is vero metal, a very rare metal. It is especially useful in crafting morphic things. It will be extremely helpful to me in a few of the things I want to craft.
I looked at it for a moment before taking the pot from the pile.
As I removed the clay lid from the pot, I saw the greenish metallic liquid. It is thicker than honey and has a heavy aura; I didn't try to touch it; it is poisonous.
Seeing the metal is at Sky Grade, it would be risky to do it.
So, I simply put the pot in my core for my clone to experiment and looked at the hall. If I wanted, I could take more things, but anything, I took here, the number on the key would be reduced.
I do not want things so much to use another point.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmI would have, if not for there many other rooms, containing many other things. Some of which I want more than the metals here.
The reason, I had come here was for the vero metal. Its name was in the information, and I wanted it. My clone just looked around to find, if there was anything more useful to me, but didn't.
With one last look, I walked toward the door before opening it.
The door closed behind me as I stepped out, and I looked ahead with a smile on my face.
The smile remained on my face for a fraction of a second, before it turned serious when I saw two Grimms. They had seen me first and stopped before a smile appeared on their faces.
They took the sky and came at me, while I looked around as if to find escape, before moving left.
However, I had only able to run away, a few hundred meters, before the two Grimms appeared in front of me.
"Die, native," shouted Werewolves in unison, and attacked me from left and right with their long claws.
As their claws came at me, the fear in my expression disappeared. At the same time, a spear appeared in my hand.
"Retreat!"
Shouted the taller one, feeling it had made a grave mistake. Unfortunately, it had realized it too late.
Puch!
I appeared in front of it and pierced my spear in its chest before removing it and disappearing and appearing behind the bulky Grimm.
Puch!
It didn't even sense me till my spear touched the first defensive method before piercing into its chest.
A second later, both of the Grimms disappeared into my core.
Sometimes, Grimms acts like idiots. I didn't even show them my own aura, just began to run. They assumed I was weak and came at me in an instant.
Though, even if they hadn't come at me; they would have died.
