"Kill the Grimms!"
Our leader roared and moved to stop the Grimms in the sky, while we moved to stop the Grimms below.
They had a chance to safely retreat, not one but two, and they blew it. So, we are not going to let them leave easier and going to kill as many as we can.
I moved and there was a specific target in my mind. This time, I didn't even kill, the weak Grimms, I have come across; the target is far more important than them.
Four and half seconds later, I appeared in front of the Deerman; the same Deerman, who had been present at the final level of the temple of irudin.
It was not part of my group who had fought the eye, but the one fighting down below, keeping those huge tentacles busy. It survived, while many died, and for it, it got the reward.
I want that reward.
Now, I didn't even care about getting Sky Sovereigns by keeping an eye on it angry. They are busy saving their own life.
It is a risk, but I am willing to take it for that thing.
Seeing me appear in front of it, panic appeared in its eye for a moment before its eyes recovered.
"You are not my match, let me go," it said, to which I grinned. "No," I said simply, and attacked.
My full power hadn't recovered, there is still 0.3%, that I couldn't harness yet, but I have increased the amount of healing energy.
In less than ten seconds, I will harness my full power.
CLANNNG!
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtOur swords clashed, and I shook, which is surprising, considering it is not a Peak Earth-Sovereign as it is showing, but an Initial Earth-Sovereign.
It had also changed its tribe and aura; in reality, it is a little, shorter and bulkier, with scarlet eyes and fur, instead of the brown one.
It also uses a saber, instead of the sword, which is in its hand.
The method it is using to change these aspects is really powerful.
Even Sky Sovereigns won't be able to see through it. The only reason I did it is because I have a sample of its aura it had revealed in the temple, which I was able to match with the one it is radiating, despite them being distinctly different.
It tried to run away after the attack, but I appeared in front of it and attacked again.

It defended and tried to escape, and I stopped it again and again. It knew very well that even if I wasn't able to defeat it, it would die, as long as I keep it here long enough and want to get out.
Unfortunately, it is not going to happen.
I stopped it again and again and again when suddenly it stopped trying to run away and looked at me with volcanic rage.
"Since you want to die, I will give it to you," it said and the powerful inheritance energy blasted out of its body and attacked, and it was the black saber that attacked me instead of the sword.
The saber, similar to the one it had created, was in the seventh challenge of the tower.
I didn't hold back either and harnessed every speck of strength I could harness and attacked.
Now that I have recovered enough to harness my full power, my strength has increased a lot.

They clashed mightily, even as it was surprised, before attacking me again. I responded kindly.
The attacks begin clashing hard, and I have to say; I am impressed by it. No wonder, it was able to reach the seven challenges and survive.
It is not only powerful but skillful in the use of that. It is also very good at studying the enemy and targeting their weakness.
It could be said that it is the most skillful enemy, I had fought on the battlefield and was the most skillful fighter on the entire battlefield and that was counting the Sky Sovereigns.
"Let me go native and I will give you something good in exchange," it said while continuing with its attack.
"I will get that when I kill you," I replied and countered its attack before launching mine.
It glared at me as it defended before attacking again.
I could see its eyes moving and even now, it is still thinking about leaving.
CLANNNNG!
I had just thought that when our blades clashed, and resplendent light came out of it. The light was blinding, and it surprised me.
Not because of its brightness, such attacks are useless against the powerhouses of our level. It is because this is not a normal flash attack, but one that could not only blind one visually but also blind the soul sense for a fraction of a seconds.
It is also a powerful attack, that barely anyone of the level could resist and give it a perfect opportunity to finish off the enemy like it is doing right now.
CLANNNNG!
I brought my sword in front of its saber, stopping the attack.
"Try something better, if you want to kill me," I said to its surprise eyes and attacked it.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmSeconds passed, and the battle became even more intense, not just ours, but also every other. Here we are trying to hold back the Grimms and they are using everything they could to run away.
It is making them brought out, their great moves and secrets.
There is so much I could learn from them, but I am learning more from this skillful enemy I am fighting, who is also using every move in its arsenal to kill me.
CLANNNNG!
"I told you; I will not let you leave," I said, and I stopped it from running away again. It is getting desperate seeing more and more Grimms escaping. When enough escapes, we natives will gang up those who remain.
Sky Sovereigns might simply wipe them away.
"Then you have left me with no choice," it said with a glare and a white pearl appeared on its forehead, seeing that my eyes couldn't help, but wide up, not just in shock, but also in joy.
"It seemed like you have more good things than what you have got from the final challenge of irudin," I said, and its eyes widened, but a moment later, the pearl flared, rapidly increasing its power.
It kept increasing for several seconds before blood started to come out of its orifices; a power like this had a prize.
It continued for a few seconds before it stopped and now, its strength had reached higher than even the strongest enemy, I had fought on this battlefield.
"Now, Die!" it roared and its massive saber, came at me like a scythe coming to reap my life.
It appeared to be beside me in an instant, before suddenly coming to a stop, with its eyes widening.
"You Grimms never get your priorities straight. With the power, gained from the pearl, your priority should have been escape."
"Even if you had killed me, there are few Earth-Sovereigns, who had the power to stop you and kill you, not to mention the Sky Sovereigns, but you wanted to take your revenge, not that I could have let you run away," I said as I appeared in front of its chest.
Puch!
I pierced my sword inside it and pulled it inside with the power of my core.
Hun!
A smile appeared on my face, but disappeared just as quickly, as I felt the eyes of death on me.
