Hun!
I was directing the growth energy to over fifty plants when I sensed one Grimm moving toward Jeh fast.
I walked out of the stealth method and moved toward it; it sensed me immediately and grinned.
"I had thought you ran away," said Stone Horn Bearman. "Why would I do that?" I asked back, looking at Peak Sovereign Grimm.
It would be the first Peak Sovereign Grimm; I would be fighting. Regretfully, it didn't have a bloodline. Though, it didn't matter, since it is a Grimm, I will kill it and felt quite excited about it.
It wasn't long ago; I used to hide from these bastards, and now, I am going to fight it.
"You got some spunk. I liked it," he grinned and came at me with its aura blaring and faster speed than one might expect.
I didn't remain on my spot and moved toward it; with thick inheritance energy covering my sword.
A moment later, we appeared in front of each other.
"Die!" it roared and swung down its stone ax, where the grey energy covering it started to spin very part. The energy on my sword did the same but in the opposite direction.
It surprised the Grimm, but it didn't stop its ax. Instead, it had poured more power into it.

Our weapons clashed and so is spinning energy, creating quite a powerful shockwave.
Still, nobody won or even shook, which seemed to surprise the Grimm, before making it angry.
I don't know why; these bastards get angry at such things.
The most prevailing theory is that the Grimms are designed this way. It is said; the abominations have made them this way because they thought anger is good to harness more power.
It is true; the anger makes them stronger, but almost every Grimm is capable of controlling it, where it benefits them.
Most Grimms would let the anger control them, which makes it easier to defeat them. In their anger, they narrow their view of the battle, which is not good.
CLANNG CLANNG CLANNG
The next attack of it is stronger than the previous and I defended it and I have defended the one that came right after it and the one after that.
Their attacks continued, and I defended against them.
Every ten of its moves, I would launch one of mine before taking the defensive stance again.
I am collecting the data, which my clones are analyzing every second.
I would have gone full-blown offensive, but the strengthening energy is still pouring into my body and defensive fighting is helping me get used to the rising strength rapidly, without letting it get suspicious.
I had already digested most of the energy and the rest will be done within a minute.
Soon, all the strengthening energy is absorbed by my body, and I felt great, but I am also surprised by how little the limit these two Grimms had filled. They have filled half of what I had expected. They would do.
The brown water had brought disaster, but it also brought tremendous change.
The increase in strength was the smallest one, but the biggest one was expanding the limit. I would have never been able to expand it to this degree with the treatments I use.
Though, I hope, I would not come across a thing like it again.
I had nearly died. Progress isn't worth danger like that, where I had nearly died a thousand times.
A minute passed, and the growth of energy in the core had disappeared from my core as well.
'It is time to go on a full offensive,' I thought and immediately shifted from the defensive stance to an offensive one.
CLANNG!
It defended my attack, but I only grinned and attacked it with even greater power, surprising it.
"You should bring out everything you have or you will regret it," I said and attacked again, faster than before.
Its opened mouth closed, as my sword came too fast for it to defend itself.
"Bastard!" it cursed as it defended, but I attacked again and again, never giving it a chance to even breathe for a moment.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThis is the strategy of the Grimms, and it works well, with their huge size, which is four to five times bigger than humans like me. Though, our size also comes with the advantages of our own.
I could move fast, and dodge most attacks, which I wouldn't have. If I had been of its size.
"Why are you on the defensive? Try some offensive as well," I taunted and attacked again, with even power.
"You wretched bastard!" It screamed and a powerful aura roared out of its body and it moved in the ax to attack, but immediately changed back to the defensive one, in alarm.
As I suddenly increased the power and speed behind my attack and even increased the weight of my sword, which crashed hard on the giant ax.
Shaking, which made it even angrier.
"I will kill you!" it roared and attacked, but the power of its attacks, was barely more than its previous attack.
Seeing that, a smile on my face couldn't help but appear. As it is what I have been waiting for.
Immediately, I increased the power of my attack and forced it to move defensive like last time and started the barrage of powerful attacks, which it had deafened quite well while glaring daggers at me.
Well, I don't care; it had to give me what I want.
I continued to push it harder and harder, not giving it a single chance to make an offensive attack, which frustrated it, made it angry, and forced it to take risks, which I encouraged.
A minute passed, and I rewarded it, letting it attack five times.
Now, it had attacked sixth time, but unlike other times. I didn't move my sword to defend instead; I harnessed every bit of strength I have from burst and moved toward it.
It took me a fraction of a second, to appear in front of it, effortlessly avoiding its ax, and pierced my sword into its heart.
While it watched helplessly.
