Chapter 79
Cynthia asked, “Where did these come from?”
She was not interested in Jayleen’s affairs, but since Mitchell showed her this, it meant that he had more to discuss
with her
than just this.
“A partner gave them to me. They said someone sent them these and wanted them to make up a story based on
the photos,” Mitchell told her directly.
Cynthia frowned.
She had known Jayleen was a model, but she lacked the drive to succeed and only wanted to take shortcuts, which
resulted in her remaining mediocre.
However, being mediocre did not mean people would not pay attention to her if negative news about her surfaced.

up all of your personal information, such as your address and so on.
After giving Cynthia some time to think about it, Mitchell asked, “Do you want to go back to Nexuria? There’s a flight
available early in the morning.”
Cynthia was a bit confused. “Why should I go back?”
Mitchell was sincerely concerned about Cynthia and explained, “If I’m not mistaken, Joshua already knows you have
hacking skills. Once Jayleen’s scandal is exposed, the first person he’ll suspect is you.”
“If I leave, he’ll only become more suspicious.”
Cynthia understood this clearly.
Mitchell looked at her.
Cynthia gave him an affirmative answer, “He has falsely accused me more than once, whether I’m in Nexuria or
here. As long as he suspects me, he’ll cause me trouble.”
Not to mention, she was still waiting to receive the divorce certificate.
Cynthia used to feel like time was passing quickly; before she knew it, a year had passed. However, it felt as if time
was dragging on.
Less than thirty days have passed, but it felt like years.
“Do you need my help to find the person behind all these?” Mitchell offered to help. After all, his connections and
resources could come in handy.
“No need,” Cynthia declined.
She had researched the evidence of Jayleen’s car accident earlier that afternoon.
“Even if you found the person, they might not be the mastermind behind it.”
Mitchell was shocked. “What do you mean?”
“Do you remember the incident where I was framed for Jayleen’s car accident? Well, this afternoon, I reviewed all
the incident details, and something didn’t add up. The evidence suggests that Joshua’s competitor was the one

Mitchell was surprised.
Meanwhile, in another private room in the bar, Joshua had invited Chyler and Yiordan over, and he discussed the
evidence Cynthia found with them.
After hearing Joshua’s explanation, Chyler smirked and said nonchalantly, “You actually believe this kind of
evidence?”
Joshua looked at him, and Chyler continued, “You already said she’s a hacker. It would be easy for her to fabricate
this evidence. Besides, why would your competitor resort to something like this?”
“Fabricating evidence like this would be too careless, even for her,” Chyler added.
Joshua agreed, “You’re right. This is too careless.”
Based on Cynthia’s personality, if she wanted to fabricate evidence, she would have come up with a perfect excuse.
This did not make sense.
“What did the police say about this?” Yiordan, who had been silent until now, asked.
