Neil remained quiet for a moment before his cold voice echoed in the room.
“You don’t have to repay me if you can’t. I never intended to make you feel guilty. I
wonder if you truly don’t get what’s going on or if you’re just pretending to be clueless.”
His words left Silvia feeling somewhat confused.

Neil did not push them to accept it. He only asked Curtis to hire workers to repair their
house. After they bade the couple farewell, Silvia and Neil boarded a helicopter back to
Ryoln City.

her way back from the village, Silvia called Dulcie and Isla to let them know that she and
Neil were safe. She also learned that Eva and Joe had returned the previous night.

Her reaction indicated that she was not going to heed the advice, and Dulcie shook her
head.
“By the way, the Remus Family knows that Neil nearly risked his life to save you this time.
They might come looking for trouble. You should prepare yourself.”
