86 Let’s End Your Life Here (1)
“Who am I?” I snorted coldly. “I am the one who would bring calamity to all disgusting creatures like you. I swear I’ll drop all of you in the deepest Hell and burn you all with the eternal fire of Hell!”
The sky rumbled and lightning stroke the Earth hearing my vow, as if validating the vow I made and made sure all the creatures on Earth remember those words. The fire deep within myself was burning yet my heart was still as cold as ever. My vow might sound cocky and overconfident, but somehow it felt right. As if the purpose of my existence was to eliminate all the evil beings in the world.
As I put all my attention to Amanda, I failed to notice the lines of white clothed ghosts standing behind my back, but surely Amanda didn’t.
She saw everything and her body trembled even more. Her knees buckled and she lost the strength to support herself. If not only for my left hand still holding her neck, she would have fallen flat on her face.
But, I didn’t want to release my hand on her neck. Instead, I tightened my grip.
“Where is your master?”
Amanda shook her head, refused to talk even though she was still trembling.
“Still trying to hide your master?” I sneered. “Don’t think I can’t do anything to your master even if you hide him. It’s easy for me to find him.” I threatened, but I knew I could do it.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtI didn’t know how, but there was something inside my head that telling me I could do it by following certain ways. I didn’t know where the information came, but I was sure it was the right way to do.
.....
“Spare me!” Amanda cried when I put my right hand on her forehead.
I followed the instruction in my mind as I closed my eyes, concentrating fully on the light thread that floated through the darkness. It didn’t take long before I finally found the end of the light thread.
I was in a dark room with only five candles lit on a big table in one side of the room. No, that was not a table. It was an altar. There were many kinds of offerings on it and a very ugly -creepy, but I felt it was uglier than being creepy -statue on it. The room smelt like flowers but there was a hint of blood. As I inspected the offerings on the altar, I found a bowl of blood was one of them.
My nose scrunched up in disgust. Looking away from the blood, my left eyebrow arched when I caught sight of the statue.
Was this Amanda’s true form?
So ugly.
I reached out and took the statue. I might be able to toy with her later by using this statue.
I smirked as I had the thought. I was wondering where the owner of the altar was.
As I asked myself, the door to the room was pushed open by an old man in black. He was startled when he saw me in his private room.
“Who are you? How did you get in here?” He asked warily.
I smiled at him. “Using your own daughter as the host of this disgusting and evil being, what a great father you are!” I knew his identity as soon as I saw him.
The man looked like I had just exposed his dirty secret. His face paled, but he collected himself very quickly. The shock turned into rage as he said nothing and directly attacked me.
What a stupid person!
Obviously, fighting has never been my forte. I didn’t know any martial arts. Facing this kind of situation where I, a weak girl, was attacked by a grown-up man, I should be feeling scared and probably peed my pants, but strangely, I was so calm it made me confused.
Before I could do anything, white light flashed again from my back and before I knew it, the old man had sprawled on his back, motionless.
Not dead. Because near his feet was standing his soul, being locked up by two white-clothed ghost. Their appearance this time made me think about something; was it possible that they were my guardians?
I looked behind my back and surprised to see lines and rows of white-clothed ghost standing behind me. Half of the room was filled by them. Why didn’t I feel them just now? But, they didn’t say anything. They were so silent I almost thought they were all mute. They didn’t even look at me. It was like they were here only to protect me.
But, who were they exactly?
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmI turned my attention to the old man who looked shock. He was looking at me as if I was a strange old woman who not only knew how to sing out of tune in the middle of the road, but also capable of solving the hardest calculation of Math in Senior High School level. He should have noticed the legion behind me, which made him unable to move freely.
“Who are you?” He asked in a whisper.
“Your daughter’s deceased husband’s ex-girlfriend.” I smiled and felt great when I saw his eyes widened. “Nice timing. Let me take you somewhere. I want to show you something.” I beckoned at the man to get closer.
My two guardians pulled him over and I reached out to put my hand on his forehead. The scene around me changed again as I returned to the other dimension where I kept Amanda captive.
“I bring your master with me.” I said in a cheerful tone. Not the place to be cheerful, but only thinking that I got to torture these two evil beings who caused the death of Senior Rizal, my mood became brighter.
Amanda’s eyes widened in shock as she stared at her father. She was back to her human form, so when she acted pitiful, she did look like one.
But, it wouldn’t work on me. Using honey trap to soften my heart? Hah, in your dreams. I’ve fed my heart to the dogs the moment you killed Senior Rizal, so don’t bother acting pitiful.
I didn’t realize the murderous intent emitting from my body as soon as I remembered the bloody scene I saw just now in this same room. Senior Rizal’s body was still there. It seemed like no one was there to check on him.
I gritted my teeth. What a great family! They left their own brother, their own son, to the most dangerous person in the house. They didn’t even bother to check up on him!
I really wish I could burn them all!
“Great Lady, please, spare me! I was just following orders from this old man! Please, spare me!” Amanda wailed. She realized acting pitiful was useless against me and felt fear tightened up in her chest when she felt my anger.
But, it was too late! They couldn’t bring back the death to life.
I intended to let them feel the same desperation Senior Rizal felt. Killing them instantly was too easy as a punishment for them.
I would make sure they wish they were dead!
