Chapter 1027: Pouring Your Heart Out!
Edited by RED
“Give me one reason,” Lin Feng demanded Qing Xin Yue. Since she told them she knew, she had to explain why she had done all this.
Lin Feng and Qing Xu Duan stared at her, because everybody felt like Qing Xin Yue had used them. Why hadn’t she said she knew Lin Feng had saved her? Why had she let Qing Ling Xuan lie?
Everybody stared at her, including Chu Chun Qiu and Qing Ling Chao. Qing Xin Yue felt calm and serene. She didn’t feel guilty or nervous, because she had a good reason.
“Alright, I’ll tell you why,” Qing Xin Yue nodded. “When I woke up, the first person I thought of was you, Lin Feng. I was really nervous and worried about you. When Qing Ling Xuan told me something different, I knew he was plotting.
“I didn’t contradict him, but I told him I had doubts. When he left, I went to see my teacher and asked him for the truth. But my teacher disappointed me. I didn’t feel like insisting. On the contrary, I let him continue lying. He gave Qing Ling Xuan credit for everything.
“I knew they were both lying, but what could I say? Call them liars to their face? My teacher and my fellow disciple?”
“Lin Feng, if you were me, what would you have done? A teacher you consider a benefactor who considers you like his own daughter... would you call such a person a liar straightforwardly, face to face?” asked Qing Xin Yue.
Lin Feng understood she had felt helpless. She couldn’t speak the truth. She could only feel sad.
It was a difficult decision. Lin Feng couldn’t blame her. Qing Xu Duan and Qing Ling Xuan were the only ones to blame.
“What could I do, teacher? Lin Feng, some things make you sad in life, it is the same here,” said Qing Xin Yue. She had felt helpless.

Lin Feng remained silent. Qing Xu Duan felt even more guilty. Qing Xin Yue had done that for him, to give him face. Qing Xu Duan felt like he had been selfish. He had only thought of his own personal interests, not hers.
“I don’t feel like lingering over this. I know Lin Feng paid the full price and you, do what you have to do. And I, hehe, since I am in the Tai Qing Sect, I can’t control my destiny. I have no choice but to resign myself to fate,” said Qing Xin Yue bitterly.
It was all she could do. Qing Ling Xuan wasn’t dead. Qing Ling Chao had saved him, to save Lin Feng. Qing Xin Yue knew Lin Feng had saved her, but she had no choice but to forget about it for Qing Xu Duan.
Qing Xu Duan and Qing Ling Chao glanced at each other. Both sides ended up suffering losses. Nobody had won their little game, it had just created more tensions.
After this, Qing Xin Yue and Qing Xu Duan wouldn’t be as close anymore, and Qing Ling Xuan now hated everybody, especially Lin Feng!
——-
Lin Feng and Chu Chun Qiu left the stage. Qing Xu Duan prepared a room for them so that they could rest. However, Qing Xu Duan didn’t explain anything to Qing Xin Yue, and just left.
Qing Ling Chao waited for his main body to come back from the World of Battles. Then someone would bring Qing Ling Xuan to the World of Battles. It might be dangerous for Qing Ling Xuan in the World of Battles.
“What do we do now? Do we go back to Ju Valley, or do we stay here?” asked Chu Chun Qiu, leaning against a wall. Lin Feng was lying in bed and looking at the blue sky out of the window.
“We’re going back to Ju Valley,” Lin Feng said expressionlessly. He closed his eyes and got ready to rest.
Chu Chun Qiu nodded, “Alright, let’s have a good rest and go back. I want to see that mysterious cultivator.”
——
After that, they didn’t speak for the whole day. That evening, Lin Feng stood up. He had recovered a little, but he was still in a bad mood.
“Let’s go, Chu Chun Qiu,” Lin Feng said. They left the great palace and flew up in the air, heading towards Ju Valley.
Outside of the city, Qing Xin Yue had been waiting for them for a while. When she saw Lin Feng and Chu Chun Qiu leave the imperial city, she also rose up in the air and flew over to them.
Chu Chun Qiu said knowingly, “Just catch up with me later.” He knew they had to talk, and he had tact.
Lin Feng stood in the air, Qing Xin Yue standing in front of him. The atmosphere became heavy when nobody spoke.
“Brother Lin Feng, you... Are you alright?” asked Qing Xin Yue after a while. She felt awkward. Her voice was trembling.
Lin Feng initially didn’t feel like talking to her, but when he heard her call him brother, he couldn’t resist.
“As expected... it’s you, Yao Yu Yan,” Lin Feng said. He had guessed right. Qing Xin Yue really was Yao Yu Yan.
“Yes, Brother Lin Feng, I am Yu Yan,” Qing Xin Yue nodded. She didn’t look cold and indifferent anymore, she looked shy, like a cute little girl.
“I guessed right,” Lin Feng said, smiling patiently. He had guessed since the first time they had met, and they looked exactly the same.
Even though Qing Xin Yue had always avoided the topic, Lin Feng hadn’t forgotten about that, otherwise, he wouldn’t have rushed over to Ju Valley to save her for free. He had done that because she was Yao Yu Yan.
“Brother Lin Feng, thank you for saving me,” said Yao Yu Yan, hugging Lin Feng. She put her head on his chest silently.
Yao Yu Yan had felt grateful to Lin Feng since they had met in the desert. Many years later, she hadn’t forgotten about him. Her admiration for Lin Feng had increased with time because she had noticed no man was as outstanding as Brother Lin Feng.
Yao Yu Yan blushed, but she knew that after Lin Feng left, life would become normal again because she had an agreement with Qing Xu Duan; she wasn’t allowed to tell anyone her real identity, for her own good.
Lin Feng sighed. He initially wanted to push her away, but she held him in her arms too firmly, so Lin Feng let her hug him a bit longer. He knew how she felt about him. action
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmShe loved him. Lin Feng didn’t want her to misunderstand him; she was such a good and kind woman. He didn’t want her to be like his other wives and wait for him all the time.
Liu Fei was pregnant; she was going to give birth soon. Meng Qing was still in a coma, he hadn’t found a cure yet. Tang You You lived in the Continent of the Gods. Lin Qiong Sheng was probably going to pick her up.
Huang Nü and Huo Wu were in his spirit world. Qiu Yue Xin and Duan Xin Ye were still in the Continent of the Gods raising their children, Lin Heng and Lin Nian.
Yi Ren Lei was in Tian Dao Yuan. He had so many wives and none of them were at his side. He didn’t want Yao Yu Yan to have the same fate. He didn’t want such an outstanding woman wait for him forever.
“Brother Lin Feng, I know what you think. No pressure. I hope you will give me an opportunity someday, though. I can also be like your other wives, patiently waiting for you. I won’t be a burden.
“Since I left the desert and went to the Continent of the Gods, and then came here to the Country of Eternity, I’ve been watching you, but I wasn’t brave enough to come and talk to you. Then I went to the Tai Qing Sect, but now I don’t want to miss this opportunity again,” said Yao Yu Yan. She started crying. She felt sad. Why could other women have Lin Feng, but not her?
Since the desert, Lin Feng had kept rejecting her; would he do the same again now?
Yao Yu Yan was sad. She wanted to try.
“Alright, I know how you feel. But it’s not so simple. You are the matriarch of the Tai Qing Sect now. Be responsible and do your job. We’ll see in the future. Alright?
“You are a pure and noble woman, why are you crying? Imagine if the disciples of the Tai Qing Sect saw you in my arms like this, they would want to destroy me! Hehe!” Lin Feng smiled. He tried to cheer her up.
“Take good care of yourself. When I come back from Ju Valley, I’ll give you an answer, alright?” Lin Feng said seriously. He wiped the tears off her eyes with his sleeve.
Yao Yu Yan nodded. She would wait, no matter how long it would take.
“Alright, go back now. Be a good patriarch. I’m leaving,” Lin Feng said. Then he gently pushed her arms away and abruptly flew off.
Chu Chun Qiu had been waiting in the distance. They both flew towards Ju Valley again.
Yao Yu Yan watched him until he disappeared in the horizon.
